@ dayokanu,

You've come again with this Fergie Hitzfield thing.

You used to say that simply because Hitzfield won more UCL than
Fergie, that makes him better and that the UEFA cups and the
winners cups of this world and every other thing else do not matter.

Now Fergie has won 2 UCL and you've turned it to the time frame.

That won't cut it with me buddy.

CareerRe: Why Should Fg Discriminate Against Hnd Holders? by akinalabi(m): 10:48am On Jun 16, 2008
Bsc is superior to HND. That is a fact that cannot be disputed.

HND was created to cater for mid level manpower. It's been like
that for ages. It's now more obvious because of the scarcity of
good jobs.

Even if you are a civil servant, there is a level you cannot go
past as a HND holder.

I'm a HND holder and I did not bother to look for a job because
of this. But I'm not bothered because I knew whats up before
I went to the polytechnic.

The stations showing Euros are BBC and ITV(1 and 4).
Matter of fact, they alternate it. . . . . The 2 of em have not shown the same match LIVE.
The station you are talking about could be SKY PREMIER. I have it on ma dodgy satellite.
It's beamed to Non-UK viewers. grin cheesy
Thanks for that mate.

I was wondering how a SKY SPORTS lifer cheesy like Richard Keys
could anchor a non SKY SPORTS channel.

I'll take a closer look on the channel from now on.

Sorry to go a bit off topic but I've got a question for you guys
living in the UK.

Which station is showing the Euros?

I'm asking because there is one dodgy station on HITV where I
saw Richard Keys anchoring the studios and the guests were
Peter Reid and Trveor Francis.

That's a SKY SPORTS crew.

Jackal and other. What do you think?

I don't like BA. Space too small for the economy class. I no longer
use their economy class.

I like Virgin Nigeria very much. Top draw.

I'm begining to like Bellview as well. Never have I experienced any
delay or glitch. And dem price no bad. wink
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by akinalabi(m): 2:05pm On Jun 14, 2008
@ loyika,

You brought up a link that blows your argument out of water.

The story clearly shows it was not stated in his contract. There
was a verbal agreement and a letter to Heinze (I did not mention that
earlier).

BUT NOT IN HIS CONTRACT.

So who cannot read now?

PS: Chelsea a richer club than Man Utd? Na wah o. lipsrsealed
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by akinalabi(m): 5:43pm On Jun 13, 2008
It was a "verbal agreement" with Heinze.

IT WAS NOT WRITTEN IN HIS CONTRACT!!!!!!!!

Heinze desperately wanted to go to Liverpool, but Fergie insisted he
would never do business with Liverpool and Man City.

As long as Ronaldo is under contract and Fergie insists he is going
nowhere, Ronaldo does not have a choice.

The reason why clucbs usually allow players to move in such situations
is "why keep an unhappy player?"

But no matter how unhappy the player is, if the team says he's going
nowhere, then so shall it be.

PS: And why is everyone now getting excited about Ronaldo's supposed
exit? I thought this was a player that only dives and does not deliver
against big teams.

SportsRe: Your Biggest Sports Blunder: Make Us Laugh by akinalabi(m): 11:05pm On Jun 05, 2008
My blunder was ruling Chelsea out of the title race so early in the
season.

I became more convinced after their insipid performances against Aston
Villa and against Man Utd at Old Trafford. I voiced in on my blog and in
the papers I write for.

Jackal (aka Xerxes grin) warned me it wasn't over but I dismissed his
analysis.

I was proved wrong as Grant's men took the title to the wire.

@ J-K,

Cathy Ferguson(Sir Alex's wife) will kick Fergie's ass back to OT. She forced Fergie back to football when Fergie announced he would be retiring some years back. She cannot stand Fergie staying at home like a dork so i expect her to convince Fergie by taking an executive job.
LOL! grin grin grin

That really cracked me up.

I can imagine Fergie doing nothing at home. No Rob Styles
and Steve Bennet to shout at.

He's got a strong horse anyway that will take a bit of his
time. grin

the UCL. wink
SportsRe: Premiership Coach Of The Season ( Who Deserve The Award) by akinalabi(m): 10:29pm On May 29, 2008
@ rikkyjen,

He probably would not have rot away but the referee's mistake
surely launched Jose's career.

If Scholes perfectly good goal was allowed, Porto would have been
dead and buried and they would be out.

He wouldn't have won the UCL and Chesea wouldn't have signed
him.

SportsRe: Should South Africa Be Banned From Hosting The World Cup. by akinalabi(m): 4:40pm On May 27, 2008
The tournament shouldnt have been awarded to them in
the first place. It was Blatter/Havelange's rotations policy
that got football into this mess.

It also got them into mess for the 2014 edition where Brazil
was unopposed.

Thank goodness the policy has been scapped.

It took the grace of New Zealander delegate (can't remember
his name now) to save us from Batterism in 2006 and the
tournament went deservedly to Germany.

I think the tournament should be taken away to a country with
ready facilities.
