What was the reason for the embassy to cancel your appointment please?
No reason but I guess there are others that have their appointment cancelled in march and April. Email was sent to them but the reply was that ''the embassy reserved the right to cancel any appointment...'' they encouraged new appointment to be booked or make use of emergency appointment....

Yes

Yes you can.

When did you book the one that was cancelled?
Early January this year. Very grateful for your response.

Do you have a booked interview appointment ? If yes, fill a new ds-160, go to your booked appointment, click profile, update and input the new DS-160 confirmation
Thanks so much. The booked interview for April was cancelled by the Abuja embassy; yet to book another. Don't know if one can now choose Lagos in the new ds-160?

Good day. I want to ask if someone can fill new form Ds-160 after interview for April was cancelled by the embassy. The plan to attend sister's wedding in June is no longer feasible due to unavailability of interview date. Now a older brother that's a citizen wants to now be the recipient relative early next year. Adjustment is needed since already submitted ds-160 could no longer be edited. Please, how does one go about this?
Any help/advice on this?

mine85:
So you think civic is better generally. What lower model I should avoid, because the main challenge is fund, I need 2002 to 2004, it's usually cheaper
Can't say which is better, it depends on your budget, maintenance culture and the reason for buying... 03-05 Civic is good, it consumes least fuel among the above mentioned.

Thanks, I am beginning to consider Honda... But my second question is.... Are they all d same, civic, Accord and CRV.... Because it seems I can only afford Accord 2002-2003 model
They are not the same. Civic is in class of Corolla; Accord is comparable with Camry, while CR-V could be compared with a 4-plug Highlander. However, CR-V shares same platform with Civic (Particularly from 07/08, no leg pulling) but they are not the same... not in size or fuel consumption, Civic is a compact car while CR-V is a crossover SUV.

awgumayor:
When they gave the Igbos three months quit notice some Yoruba were tauting, mocking and laughing at Igbos forgetting that what goes around comes around, now the same people that gave igbos three months quit notice are the same people giving Yoruba three days quit notice. What a small world. If there should be civil war again a lot of people will be disappointed because the war might change direction and probably, it will be fought between north and south west. So, the foolish Yorubats who derive joy in attacking anything Igbo should know that the enemy of his enemy can be his friend.
And Igbo went begging... wait to see if Yoruba will beg before you start comparing.

ibo ppl gat no sense at all, SW does not share a border with them so if they refuse to leave, we will push them all enter lagoon. I don't hate them but the insults they have been hurling at their peaceful host has now become too much and they need to be taught some lessons about life which they refuse to learn even after the civil war.

Yoruba nation will stand, non Yorubas will soon be a foreigner in Lagos and other SW states and nothing any tribe can do about it.
The entire ibos are now claiming to come from Delta.

What's difficult in going back and manage their oyel? The oil in the west is more than enough for the domestic usage in the west.
PoliticsRe: Do The Igbo And The Yoruba Know They Are Sons Of "Oduduwa"?— Fredrick Nwabufo. by Alba3:
All I know through personal research over many years in my massive families of about 5 kingships of Omo Owa and also of Agboniregun are that:

The present place we now occupied once belonged to the Uraure (the Pygmies), Ulesun people.

There were more than one Oduduwa and Oranmiyan (other great personalities were named after the first great ones).

The ancient Ife is not located in present Ife (people migrated with their history; there're other Ifes even in Igalaland).

The linguistics & Divinity connection to the North East Africa/Middle East are strong.

There's intermixing of the indigenous people and the migrated people who came in many expeditions/migrations.

There are lots to be unearthed to determine the earliest people of West Africa.

Religion plays a major role in the lives of Ilorin people.

Afonja was never a muslim; same way they prefer Emir to Oba, since Emir translates into Islamic Leader. Many are also confused like Saraki whose paternal groundfather and groundmom were from Ogun and Oyo respectively but would be quick to say he's fulani from Mali.

Meanwhile, Nigerian police are useless!

This was exacly what caused problem between the police and OPC in the 90s, for those of us that witnessed it. It was not a good time to be a police man in the west then, even the military government of Abacha couldn't stop them, I hope history will not repeat itself this time around bcs these OPC guys are monsters.
Police have thrown the first punch, they will not blame anyone for jungle justice and not bringing criminals to them. OPC made no mistake by handing the bandits' leader to police in the first place. Police is trying hard to turn the people of SW against every man in uniform.

You are correct about Mount Carmel College, Ilorin. That was obtainable during my time there.I was in the class of 93. My question about all these brouhaha is what is bringing up these demands, these schools have been operating this way since inception and some of the leaders in Ilorin right now attended those schools. It was the standard put in place by the missionaries and their academic prowess that made the muslim parents send their wards there. Being a grant aided schools does not authmatically make them government schools. If the ownership status is court, all parties should maintain status quo until final determination of the supreme court. Why are the politicians playing games with education.
The truth is that there's hiding agenda to change the names of those schools at the long run...

Why are you guys setting up a SWSN after condemning ESN? Why not depend solely on your law-backed Amotekun?

Slattery, shady and unreliable.
Small research or Google would have helped you to understand that SWSN is the same as Amotekun; It's not formed after ESN. Calling other tribe unprintable names on top of what didn't concern you or 'beating chest' on top of ignorance is a serious disease.

So childish! They are talking about NBC report you're posting videos of dilapidated 3 story buildings in Onitsha! The funny thing is that, this is your best you are comparing with Old Beere. Kid, you need to go back to school either to learn or to collect paid fees back; or leave your Oko and get civilized a bit. It's been long I've read from slowest brain in the world like this. Your people left your landlocked paradise and keep moving in millions to the poor place. I really find it very very disgusting to find guys that cramped themselves in 50 inside one flat taking pictures of his rich neighbours' houses to boast on nairaland.

I'm not the type that will start posting the dirtiest pictures/videos in the world which the most polluted Onitsha, Aba, and rest represent or posting nice pictures/videos from my place, only jobless people do such. The entire buildings in Anambra are not up to the buildings in Ibadan 10 GRAs not to mention other great cities of SW; not even Lagos which is your small London that all of you want to live in. No matter how you strive to divert to other thing or cry till tomorrow, NBC report stands and that's what is being discussed here not childish 'chest beating' on irrelevant videos.

The funny thing is that most of the few houses you're boasting of are own by people living outside east and NBC report is about poverty level of people living in each state not on ethnic groups as you emotional tribal people are seeing it.

I passed through Federal University, Oye. If a college town should look that undeveloped, I have nothing to say to you again.

Again, compare the sight that will greet you in the East when traveling to from Lagos through Edo to what you will get when traveling through SW from Abuja.

You Yoruba people are so funny and uninformed.

Are you aware SE have the least income inequality in the country? Onitsha is the most built up urbane city in Nigeria after Lagos, SE has the lowest vulnerable households, Nnewi has the the highest number of billionaires per capita and SE govt imposes the lowest tax. Abia tops FDI destination after Lagos and Abuja.

So what the fvck are you saying about abject poverty.

Only poor people still depend on govt epileptic water supply. Most houses in the East and SS drill their boreholes.

I am not insulting SW but their richest exists only on NBS data sheets and Yoruba media.

They never reflect reality.

Go to Lagos and compare where Igbos live and those of the indigenous populations.

They are different by a long shot.
This your comment now shows that you don't even know what NBC report is all about; it's not about rich people in each state. 'Chest beating' as usual, very myopic and funny at the same time. I didn't know I was engaging primary school pupil, who wants NBC to rate a state like Ondo base on his travelling from Benin to Lagos; when there isn't single Ondo's major city or town on the road. I expect you to compare Ikwo and Oye since they're both Federal university's town. So only Igbos live in Ikoyi, VI, Magodo, Ilupeju, Banana Island, Ikeja GRA and the rest?

Just read what you wrote again ''most houses in the East drilled boreholes''' you can only lie online to deceive someone that is yet to travel to the East or live there. I'm not sure you even understand what you wrote there; to you Igbos lives in only the best places of the whole world, 'chest no dey pain you'? I have nothing to say again, every Igbo is a billionaire, if that will make your ego swell. And they're just trooping to every nook and cranny of the SW to dash them free those things you sell because everyone there live in poverty and couldn't afford them...and these people have never gone to other regions to commit crimes. Go this thread and see what your so called billionaires are doing in the West:

https://www.nairaland.com/6446398/ogun-police-arrest-family-7

NL is a funny place with funny people who manufacture data and stats from their anus and emotions.

Passing Through Ekiti on your way from Abuja to Lagos is a 'short cut' not as if it's a major Express way between the two cities. You hardly go through major towns. So, if I travel from Ikot-Ekpene to onitsha without going through Aba, Owerri, bit of Umuahia and Orlu, I should use mbano, nkwere, umudi, all those villages judge Abia and Imo?

The federal universities in Ekiti and Ebonyi were recently created, same time; Oye is still a better place compared with Ikwo. Pride and 'chest beating' are you people's problem. If you marged the whole houses in Enugu and Ebonyi, they are not up to that of Ibadan alone. That a population of about 7 million people having about hundred thousand building is very poor in percentage, and that's poverty! When 5000 teachers and low earners would have build modest houses in the SW, 200 of people in the same condition are yet to build in the SE. To even buy land is a big issue.
Yours is capitalist environment; the have, have it all and the others can go to hell.

I prefer in million of time to live in a spacious bungalow with water flowing freely than to live in those your dangerous, unkept, without water story buildings.. maybe you need to enter some of those your story buildings to understand how people crowded them upon unending suffering and smiling. I'm not emotional like you guys... all the places I live in the east, it's a struggle to even buy water; sometimes, it takes water tankers days, you needed to book ahead but I've never bought water in every other state I lived West and North; you use water as you like...are that lives or enjoyment for wealthy people as you claim. The population in Abakpa or some streets in onitsha is equivalent to a that of a big town... I can go on and go on. We have a long way to go in Nigeria generally; although the poverty situations in the South are better than the pathetic situation in the North.
