If not where the f@@@@ is he getting the funds to do all these? I'm not aware he has borrowed significantly.
It's truly commendable!!

But seriously if with limited funds he's able to accomplish all these, it points to unlimited waste that goes on in other states, particularly the ND states with their huge allocations.

It's also noteworthy that he's not owing workers salary (even though he resisted the upgraded min wage oooo)

Crime › Re: Scammers Call Bank Customer, Reveal His BVN & Then Ask For More Details by alezzy13: 9:36pm On May 27, 2019
rychard:
It's not just the Bank revealing your information

Some folks use their cards on untrusted sites or fill out fake online forms

NIBBS also has customer information from all banks
If someone gets your data from the Bank, most sensitive information requires extra privileges so they pick what they can see e.g.

Your bank pan numbers displayed on your card is always masked in the Bank Database except the first six and last four. So they can copy this out and some proof to convince u.

Sometimes, banks make use of third party companies to support their businesses e.g.outsourcing their customer care or telemarketing units to other firms. These firms can gain access to some information of the customers, it's easy for an aggrieved staff to sell these information.

All I am saying is , most times at the end of it, the onus lies on us to protect our money, after all we worked hard for it

Always have a fully offline account for some of your savings, e.g. Bank accnt with no card, no internet or sms banking. This helps if you misplace your bank codes or robbed..

Always keep your password and card details save at all times. You don't have to work around with all your debit cards fully loaded with cash.

Protect your mobile number, if your phone is stolen , the thief can use your sim card to make recharges, or receive OTP to complete bank transactipns..

Keep the contact number of your banks and short codes to block accounts, call contact centers, RESET pins etc.

Trust no one
Very useful advice. Too many desperate scammers these days

Nothing scary here.

Check any pos receipt and you will see the card number digits scammers always use. The first for digits of the card are usually unique to the bank that issued it.

Nothing special in BVN, banks just use it to reconfirm your I'd from the database. It's filled on all registrar and some bank transaction documents.

Just be vigilant
The bolded is true, but what about this increasing case of pranksters knowing ones DOB?

Na so one call me few weeks back claiming to be from Zenith Bank CC. The guy correctly got my name and date of birth. Of course I knew it was a fake when he started asking for my pin and all, so I just cut the call (but not before giving him a 'concentrated' insult cool )

Funny thing is I hardly use the card for online transaction. The surprise me sha

We need to declare a state of emergency on the population problem. It is simply out of control.

Goodness me. Look at those almaijiri boys for instance no education, no training, nothing. Now imagine them 20 years from now. Time bomb doesn't begin to describe what could befall us.

Before you put 1 Naira in the Nigerian stock exchange, go and watch THE WOLF OF WALL STREET. Nigerian Stock Exchange is a place run by Judas Iscariots. Go and find out what Ndi Okereke Onyuike did there. Go and find out what Transcorp did there.

People regularly get burnt in that place of corporate scammers, you need sound financial education to make money there.

Let me tell you a secret Mtn doesn't want you to know. There is a company called MTN International (Mauritius) Limited, which has the controlling 76.08 per cent equity, or 15,485,544,050 shares valued at about N309.71 billion. Once they recoup their money paid as fine with extra by gullible Nigerians, they are getting out. That's exactly how Etisalat got a cash investment and Mudabala telecoms (the Arab owners) ran off with the money.

What most people don't know is that just last Friday, Mtn borrowed 200 Billion for a 7 year tenure from a consortium of banks just Friday 17th of May.

You see that fine mtn paid, they are stylishly collecting it back from Nigerians. They would eventually dump everything and run off like Etisalat. They are scamming as much people as possible preparatory to running away.

The banks they obtained the loan from know this but they don't care. They would willingly take over mtn like they did to Etisalat.

This same Gbenga Oyebode on Mtn board is the chairman of Access bank. Go and find out what Access bank did to Etisalat.
Wow! shocked

Gburus is busy doing nothing in Enugu...

Paying social media influencers to look good in the public will not help him...

There is much work to be done.. But he's busy going about.. Jumping from one occasion to the other.. Looting money here and there.. All because he is in the good book of Abuja power brokers..

Ugwuanyi has disappointed many..
He could have consolidated on the good work Sullivan did in the capital by taking it to the rural areas..
I don't think that's entirely true.

For instance Ugwanyi worked on Opi to obollo afor road, which helped reduce the horrors being faced on that stretch of road.

Similarly he has really transformed Nsukka town.

However I totally agree with OP regarding the neglect of Obollo Afor.

Sir, true yield is enjoyed on every T-bill investment o, regardless of whether you are reinvesting interest or not.

If someone buys 1m worth at 15%.

If he takes his his 150k interest upfront,

His true RoI =150k/850k = 17.6%

If he reinvests, He gets about 1,176,000 on maturity. His RoI = 176k/1m still 17.6%
.

The fact that the bills are sold at a discount is what makes for a higher true yield, and not necessarily the fact that interests are reinvested.
.
Interesting. I've never considered it from this angle.

I beg to disagree. I've been using them for many years and I think I've been dissapointed not more than twice.

It may depend on the branches you use. There's usually a staff in charge of such issues. Those wishing to invest should always ask of that person, and any account officer.

Are you kidding me? Now I see why they do it. How can someone be so heartless to allow you get 1-4% interest on FD when you can get up to 13% from TBills? Just for their own selfish interest. Lol! Sister take am easy. Let's not forget it's our brothers and sisters working in these banks, and the pressure on them to deliver on their targets is intense - I mean INTENSE.

Of course I don't support the account officer deliberately witholding information simply to achieve his/her selfish goal. I believe they should be honest about it. I've had account officer beg to allow my funds remain for a particular period and have obliged in few instances

Yes, during certain rituals of worship. What they are doing here is more or less atonement. This is when individuals focus on their personal self, their loved ones, their ancestors, pray for the sick, the troubled, the poor, and so on. It is not mandatory to separate here.

During acts of God worship, individuals supplicate to Allah and praise and glorify him. It is regarded as a sacred rite. This is where the genders occupy partitioned spaces away from each other.
I see. Thanks
