dammyalabs: The wound should not be large, all you need to do is ensure you clean the site 2ice a day with cotton bud and spirit and turn the earing to stop the hole from healing and sticking to the earring. I hope the earing is not "kpanda" i.e fake gold or poor quality gold plated . as a big wound could be as a result of reaction to the nickel content. If it is a good quality gold plated studs you shouldnt have such issues. The hole will close back if you do not keep the earring in. U would suggest you go and get a good quality gold plated, sterling silver or 18 carrat gold stud earinga and put back in. You may want to dip it in spirit to sterilize it before putting back in the ear if an open wound is still there Or you forfiet the hole, let it heal properly and you will have to re-piece it at a later date, when the child is older. 1 Like |

jazzyjazz: Hey, how is your baby now? I hope the temperature has come down with the pcm you gave earlier. Ensure he is stripped down to just nappies or at most a short sleeves vest to cool him down You could also use a damp cloth to wipe him down as well. And try and wait it out till morning. If you dont see any improvement with the pcm or he gets progressively worse, please take him to the hospital as a precaution. Pele! |

Good one Zaynie. Bless you for this. Few suggestions or rather ideas, based on other sales i have attendend and what i have understoood from their organisation. For the selling of items: for starters the yard sales could be quarterly and regional for starters. Then monthly when momentum gathers. Could be named : Mama Zaynie's Preloved Emporium! A venue will be required and a start time. Vendors are welcome and will be responsible your own items will have to pay a little token towards the hall hire and 1 or 2 tables to display their wares. All attenders/ buyer will also be charged a little entrance token per person to go into the organisation and hall hire, clean up etc. If people want to donate for the "Emporium" to sell then who is responsible for this in each region or area? Where is the items stored? Note it is not a dumping ground for your crap so useful items only, if it is torn or broken, chuck it in your bin please. All proceeds would go to funding any financial donations where relevant. A facebook group can be set up where photos of things can be posted, and people can go and check whats available in between sale dates. Because picture on NL you may not even see it sometimes the way the thread flies. And it may also derail the thread a bit. So may be best if we use another medium for it. Few rules on posting; always put your location and clear discription of the items. Including any missing parts or stains so people know exactly what they are getting. Clarify to the buyer the delivery options, is the buyer paying for delivery, collecting from your home, or collecting from a neutral location? How are you paying? Cash, card or bank transfers?? If your item has been bought it is the sellers responsibility to go to facebook and delete the pictures so the photos stay relevant to what is available. If you dont delete, you get banned! As for the money.... well...... if you are not setting it up as a charitable organisation, i would say a joint account run by 3 or so trusted people would be required. Finally if you are benefitting from this spare a thought for those organising it using their freetime and resources. Do not underestimate the stress involved so show some appreciation. All i can think of for now. If i have any lightbulb moments i will update. 9 Likes |

iamomario: yeah! you really need help! From your statement you already know who the father is so what exactly are you looking for in terms of advise! If you are really confused ,i suggest you re-phrase your initial question to .... "You were having unprotected sex with 2 guys at the same time therefore you are unable to tell which is the actual impregnator" Then i would say: only a DNA test will confirm that! and if fate want to really screw you over you could carrying twins and each baby has a different father...... i have actually read somewhere that isn't impossible. You may have to wait till the baby is born to find out or do ine-mene- myne-mo! so happy bumping! 9 Likes |

jazzyjazz: My sister, You be there! if my 7 months old is eating beans and plantain, weetabix is a no brainer by the time they reach 9 months. Add formular and you can also sweeten with banana and other fruit puree, or use home made sweetener made from dried fruits from your baking section of your local shop or market See my recipe here: http://alphahandmaiden..co.uk/2017/01/mixed-fruit-paste-sweetener-i-mentioned.html the only thing i bought till 12 months was the baby rice and baby porridge as i used them to give a thicker texture to my crushed "adult cereals" for things like cornflakes, hoops and rice cripseis. I cannot be buying baby muesli when i can mix up my own na! i will go to the shop and take a note / picture of the ingredient list! when i get home i mixed, baby rice / baby porridge, some crushed cornflakes, my syweetner paste, some rice cripsies and formular to make my own muesli. my pikin chop am well! 5 Likes 1 Share |

zaynie: True. Overheads matter a great deal if you have to pay for a shop and have a sales person to man the place and pay utility bills.... all that will be have to be added somewhere na. If you place your shop in an expensive to rent area, you cannot be selling the same price with someone who is in a cheaper location.... Plus you have to factor in the day tax man will come and lock your shop if you have not been paying tax! Even online shops i.e. if you have an online shopping platform and online payment options also attract their own cost. Websites attract their own costs as well, so all these things add up. My time is very precious to me. Therefore i would happily pay more for convinience as well if i know i am getting a decent quality. Because , by the time i do alaroro and enter market by myself, traffick, parking, my time, deal with area boys, spend 2 hours haggling price you may even tear your cloth or cut shoe in the process..... i can do the same thing in 30 mins over the phone and AC may even blow me if i walk into a physical shop. 2 Likes |

crystalzoe: The trick to buying baby food gadget is to check if you have anything in the house already that will work. The motivation for me was being broke! I wasnt working at the time so i had to be innovative. I already have PLENTY kitchen gadgets so i just tweaked how i use them. I already had masher, steamer electric and pot! Food processor, hand blender, juicer, smoothie maker...... etc etc etc I think i only bought spoons, cups and plates. For instance I already have 2 potato mashers in standard black - why buy one that is a baby size and fancy for 5 times the price. I am sure many people have this and have no idea what it is for. Sometimes it comes in a utensils set Also if you boil the food soft enough a spoon or for will do. Or you can use a spoon with a wire mesh sieve to make it smoother. Why buy baby sized food storage bowls when you can use small bowls or silicone ice trays you already own that will do the same job. Even baby cereals walai that is the biggest scam of all! Must the packs be so small? Why dont they make them in normal size cereal packs. From like 9 months i started cutting down and introducing normal cereals the healthy ones with no added sugar or salt. Like weetabix, shreddies, rice cripsies cornflakes. From 12 months.... fully on normal cereals. Everyone in my house can eat the same cereal. I cannot come and go and kill myself because i have a baby. 18 Likes |
