It is called crochet cotton or crochet thread. It is categorized with numbers , the bigger the number the thinner the thread so No. 30 thread is much thinner than a No. 3 thread.

I got mine in the UK, but Amazon will be your best bet online if you are unable to find in a good arts and craft supply store.

Brands to look out for include: DMC, Anchor, Aunt Lydia's, Red heart, Bernat, Puppets, Adriafil.

Have you tried finger foods. Sometimes babies just want to do things them selves and will refuse if you feed them.

It is a messy process so be prepared for the clean-up

Try given her stuff that she can suck the life out of!

At this age i will suggest soft fruits such as ripe mango and avocado or baby snacks like the puffs which are usually flavoured with things like carrots, cheese tomato and sweetcorn.

Also ensure she is supervised while feeding herself.

Dont worry, when he figures out how to crawl he will figure out how to sit or get into other positions. Sometimes with frustration as he may get stuck on occasion.

I would only suggest you start childproofing your home since it looks like cruising mode is about to start.

Assess any risk areas like stairs, doorways, glass items, electrical points and wires, areas that he can eventually climb! Including chest of drawers, water drums, balconies etc, acces to kitchen and bathrooms.

And try and remove the risk and barricade where possible. Where not possible, just ensure everyone keeps an extra eye out that he doesnt go here.

My baby has have three convulsions in 24 hours we are at the hospital but the doctors are not acting worried. So scared.

Is baby running a temperature as well?
Have the doctors provided you with any explanation? Maybe if they do, you may not be so worried. However if you are still unsure, A second opinion is always an option.

Please state your location just in case you need to change hospitals/doctors other mamas may be able to give suggestions on other hospitals with good peadiatric units.

. Babies and their systems are also different. What works well for urs might not go well for mine. I started this warm water thing after orange juice could not do the trick. I cannot come and harm my baby na. What I know is not good for her, I will not think of it. Anyway thank you dear for your suggestion

If you do this regularly, be careful that you are not inadvertently training your baby not to be able to poo without the use of warm water in the anus!

Doing a poo should be a natural process, if you consistently have to physically aid the system.... that is a problem.

Whilst 8 weeks is still a bit young to even use the palm oil and sugar mixture in my opinion, it is at the parent's discretion on the basis that both ingredients are "food" Products, therefore for an older child, there is a level of control and the risks may be lower especially if the source - particularly of oil is a good one.

Even if you are a healthcare professional, It is wrong and very irresponsible to prescribe any meds online, without seeing the patient and it is even stupider for the parent of any baby to take advise from an anonymous moniker on an online forum.

Ampliclox IS NOT an over the counter drug, it is a strong antibiotics that if abused can cause resistance in the patient. no matter the illness,
it is always advised to FINISH the course of antibiotic, even if it doesn't seem to be working for this reason. should the patient have another bacterial infection later on there is the risk that standard antibiotics may no longer work, because they have been taking only 3 days worth, at every cough and cold!

Also bear in mind that many coughs and cold are viral in nature so unless it has been specifically diagnosed as bacterial, antibiotics is not going to do squat!!!

Finally 3 days is a long time in a child's health and things can go bad very quickly so advising someone online on that 3 day rule is also wrong.

On the yarn, get cheaper yarn for practise, when youare more confident you can use your prettier yarn. Yeye is widely available and affordable in nigeria.

You may not need a full set, except if you are getting a wicked deal on it.

For the hooks i will say stick to between 1.5mm and 5mm in size.. Till you get a hang of crochetting and have access to more specialist yarn.
Just for your reference see pics below of 0.5 and 0.75mm hooks to see how tiny it is!

The stitch markers on the top right a bit fragile in my experience( maybe i got a bad set) but you can substitute with a pack of stainless steel safety pins does the same job.

The thing beside the tape rule is a yarn snipper. See attached pics A small scissors will do the same job.

The needle like things by the right of the blue handled hooks are yarn needles. These are useful in finishing your work ans hinding the loose strands that are left after you finish your piece. You may be able to get these seperately. Its basically a large blunt needle with a large eye.

Not sure what the other items are, others will chip in.

I bought from a UK store i use usually and it was pure undiluted so i mixed with my cocoabutter mix.

These prices aint bad.
(Things in the uk are generally more expensive than the US.)



Give it a try and see.

All you need is a few drops per your tub of cream. A littlr goes a long way!

It also worked wonders when i used it for sitz bath!

They are super oils for healing.

Is the coconut oil mixture working for your stretch marks?

I'm planning on having plastic surgery on my belly to tighten my belly muscles and hopefully get rid of after-baby stretch marks. I haven't ever seen anything that works for stretch marks. I have used them oils (bio oil and palmers oils). All which the producers claimed gets rid of them. It only maybe fades them a little.

If that mixture is working for you, maybe I can save the money instead.

I guess body type and genes have a role to play on getting and getting rid of stretch marks.

Whilst preggy i mixed my own belly butter using pure ingredients.

Cocoa butter
Shear butter
Coconut oil
Beeswax
Neroli essential oil
Helichrysum essential oil

I used it at least 2ice a day as early as 8 weeks and till about 2 months PP.

Just a few drops of the EOs as those two are sooooo expensive... i bought only 2 and 5mls of neroli and helichrysum respectively as the price is very humbling!

I think i had 1 microscopic stretch mark.

So for me i will say it works.
