shes been there 39 days with neither symptom nor medication. what does that tell you?
they just cant leave her yet simply because she'll "expose" them. Or what explanation would they give for being "positive" and yet not showing a single sign of it for over a month It is a novel virus and not so much is known about it. Dybala has been in isolation for more than 6 weeks (44 days) now without any symptoms and he continues to test positive. Studies are still ongoing and as more things are discovered about the virus they will be made known....This trend that everybody has become a health professional now...saying things they have no knowledge in it, is quite worrisome. |

MadeBoy: I'm a guy that likes my privacy reasons of my quality time to think and pray for hours. Because I face a lot of spiritual challenges. And my midnight prayers have been helping me. Most especially when I had a nightmare or anytime I woke up.
I will seal up my windows and doors while my AC is blasting high. And even when I raise up my voice it doesn't come out.
The government just extended the lockdown which is tiring. She came to my house and doesn't want to leave. I have so many debts on my head now and my yearly house rent is expiring soon. This is the period I need to be alone in prayers. The little I have now I am using it to take care of her which I would have uses for myself to prolong the suffering during this lockdown. Branch and carbon are sending me SMS to pay my loans.
My apartment is so cussing, chilling and so comfortable more than her house by far. Maybe reason she doesn't want to go. She will be disturbing me and dragging remot control with me. When I am watching TV she will just change it to nollywood drama.
I do want her to be coming and going. Not just to come and stay like she is doing now. I'm not use to this type of life unlike some of my friends.
Outside of all this, I do not see future with her just normal control things..
I have not been able to leave the house or do other personal private stuff.
I need her to go maybe coming on some weekends or when invited. Are you praying to Amadioha or Ogun? If na Almighty God then na only prayer of repentance/mercy/forgiveness go pass ceiling/roof now...if not na vain words you d utter.... |

None of which these one will undergo.

In today's democracy, a governor cannot even talk to an ordinary captain anyhow. If you don't know, even a warrant officer has enough power to turn that area to a ghost town and the military is so powerful, if they report the situation to their superiors, the worse they'll do is to calm them down because the civilians don cross boundary, they bit more than they could chew.... That soldier was disarmed and almost killed if not for the intervention of sympathizers. If the soldiers overlook it and allow it to die down, theres a probability those people will repeat that kind of nonsense again but if the soldiers teach them a bitter lesson, next time, they'll think twice. Nothing will happen. You don't know Warri, you are talking about other areas. Soldiers work with caution in Warri, in fact they pursue peace more than civilians.... |

Family › Re: Confusion In My Very Young Marriage by AlphaT1(m): 9:50am On Feb 28, 2020 |
Invisible123: Good evening all,
I have just found myself in a dilemma that's really disturbing me emotionally. I need matured and candid advice from anyone who cares.
Just recently, myself and my fiancee concluded our introduction ceremony. The wedding comes up middle of this year.
Now the problem :
My fiancee is pregnant, early last month I registered her for anti natal in a very reputable hospital in Lagos. It is standard practice that they run series of tests before commencement of the treatment. After the results came out, my wife didn't disclose the findings to me, she kept it to herself until a day after the introduction.
The results indicated that her genotype is AS of which I'm also AS. Note that we had gone for checks 4 times before committing to each other, on all four occasions the results came out as AA for her. Her mum also confirmed that she is AA, she claimed she got her tested when she was young. Immediately she told me, I got so confused, I started sweating profusely. I immediately took her to another Lab close to the general hospital in my area. We both ran the test, I came our as my usual AS while she came out as AA. Also, Today, just to be sure again, she ran another test in a separate hospital on the Island and she also came out as AA.
My fear:
The hospital I registered her in is a reputable hospital and that's the reason I'm scared. I informed the hospital of my findings, they took another sample and promised to get back to me. It took them two days to call me, they left me and my wife in emotional distress while devising a means to clear their name or confuse me with medical terms. They finally called today and told me she has the AS hemoglobin in her blood but the AA is more pronounced. This got me confused cos if the AA is more pronounced, why release the result as AS in the first place. This is why I find their story hard to believe.
I feel they came up with this excuse just to justify their claim and cover up their mistake. How can 6 clinics and hospitals test her as AA while only this hospital says AS.
Note, just this evening a new test from a separate hospital says she's AA.
Nairalanders, please what do I do? Is it possible for this anomaly to happen ? Is it possible for her to have AS and AA hemoglobin at the same time where one will be more pronounced than the other. And if it's possible, what her the chances of my baby coming out fine.
Thanks Nairalanders. Most of those so called reputable (private) hospitals have many quacks in their workforce....they have the equipment and fine buildings but no qualified personnel....they are only after profit and how to cut corners to get the profit...At best they have a lab technician and lab assistants, pharmacy technician and pharmacy assistants, auxillary nurses, house officers/NYSC doctors etc. Na so dem d write results for lab give ppl without doing any test.... |

0m0nnakoda: Shamelessly you continue to expose your ignorance
LUTH is NOT a subset of any university. It is a tertiary Hospital under the Ministry of health with a Chief Medical Director at the helm, just like Igbobi Orthopaedics or Aro Psychiatry.
What is a subset of UNILAG is the CMUL college of medicine university of Lagos with a Provost at the helm. They just happen to occupy the same site.
Most Consultants are employed by LUTH not CMUL except the tiny number who are pursuing an academic career.
Clinical teaching happens in LUTH wards ,theatres etc though students also go to other places like Massey Street,Ysba, Igbobi etc.
None of these places are under CMUL and are not subsets as you ignorantly assert In other words ignoramus wise man is saying teaching hospitals are established without any university link....this is good wisdom....kontinue |

0m0nnakoda: h We are not talking about doctors in the academia
We are talking about medical student education and who can give it. Most doctors who provide medical education in the clinical years are NOT employees of medical schools. Often they have Honorary or supernumerary contracts. So they are not on a pathway to becoming a Professor
I did not say what you are saying I said or can't say. What I am saying is you have a fundamental misunderstanding of how medical education works. Doctors who do most of the teaching are not academics but clinicians Lolz. Social media with their youthful exuberance....you don't even know me nor my field of endeavour and you are making a critical analysis of me. Teaching hospitals (where medical students are trained by clinicians) are subsets/units of universities e.g LUTH, ABUTH, LASUTH, JUTH, UCH.....Since you choose to know it all and concludes that they are not employees of a university....good luck to you...there's no point wasting my time with you..... |

franchasng: if you studied mechanical engineering in a federal university in the southern part of Nigeria, you will understand that anybody that graduated with 4.48 is actually a first class material, and would have possibly clinched 4.98 if he studied accounting, biz admin, etc.
Have you wondered why engineering students dominate in Nigerian top banking positions in the past Because they always pass the aptitude test more than the arts and social science graduates.
The only people that can rock shoulder with Mech engine grads in Nigeria are MBBS grads
If you did engine drawing, calculus, thermo, advanced calculus, etc, u won't be talking the way u are talking This is a false assertion, IQ is individualized. There are average Engineering graduates as there are in any other course. There are geniuses in other courses as there are in Engineering, delete that mentality that an Engin. graduate is automatically more intelligent than an accounting graduate. It doesn't work that way. I have worked with graduates from diverse fields; engineering, medicine, accounting, physics etc. and I can tell you that IQ, interest, areas of strength etc are factors that come to play. |
