freshboy88: Alpontif, u r such a̶̲̅ dimwit. Aint u also viewing dis? Mcheew...FOOL!!!I am sad for you parents. Somebody needs to be sued for not training you well intellectually. This young man here is part of the reason why we have educated illiterates in this nation, people that cannot reason beyond their stinky nose, people who jump to conclusions without meditation, i am fairly certain that this guy here cannot have passed any examination himself without massive cheating, for he clearly lacks the capacity for deductive reasoning. It will be a waste of time to seek to correct this individual here, for if his parents have been unable to train him well, what can poor me do to help him? Nothing. He will refuse to learn, for he believes he knows..let me ask you, why don't you read my post once again?, then use your brain this time around, and correct your mistakes. Always look before you leap, learn to read between the lines, stop jumping to conclusions like an idiot. Use your brain and stop all these argumentum ad hominem. |
Youngsage: How come u're posting this if you're nt viewing dis topic? U've clearly exhibited gross senselessness and stupendous stupidity by ur comment. Sorry, but u must be a retard. Smh.Our elders say, if we refuse to make evil charms again, a fool will always ask for it. What did i say to warrant an insult..? was I insulting Nairalanders, or stating the Obvious...? Let the wise ones read my post again, and help me ask this idiot( who is clearly spoiling for a showdown) what i said wrong. The manner of the poops comment on my post suggested a small minded teenage brain that cannot rise above the intellect of a lump of shit, if not how does ''How come u're posting this if you're nt viewing dis topic? U've clearly exhibited gross senselessness and stupendous stupidity by ur comment. Sorry, but u must be a retard. Smh'' relate to my post. The boy's grammar even suggested a fellow suffering under an inferiority complex, who doesn't feel good with himself until he has in his own view ''put some people down''. I know he is a small boy, and so cannot reason beyond his age, but even children know when and how to shut up where elders are exchanging views, or ask for clarification IF THEY DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHAT IS BEING DISCUSSED. If you don't want me to be your only Cyber-problem for the rest of this year, please piss the F***K OFF MY POSTS...!!!! |

I hate commenting on Nairaland threads, for reasons best understood by right thinking people, but the ton of crap being poured out on this particular thread makes the task of commenting less revolting to me. People have to realize the gravity, and impact of what they write on here, and its implications in the real world. Whatever is posted or published on a pervasively accessible public forum can, if sensitive enough lead to consequences that are more complex and are as unexpected as the butterfly effect. People on here are passing off personal opinions as actual, factual information. Discussants are purposefully creating mischievous information just for the sake of their ego. The particularly annoying thing is that they continue to defend the indefensible in the face of actual facts. People defend points that are fundamentally illogical at first glance, and out-rightly laughable upon deep analysis. Even though some of these false information are laughable, the consequences are not. The consequences of misinformation are terrible. Misinformation has been known to kill people, cause wars, create problems and create calamity. This is why Journalism is a profession. So that we will be reasonably assured as to the factuality of the information been passed across as News. It is an error of impermissible and unpardonable proportions for a journalistic outfit not to verify, ascertain, cross check, edit and be sure of the facts surrounding a story. It is an error of epic proportions for a Journalist to interchange Ogbomosho In Oyo state for Ogbomosho in Osun State, assuming there was no mischievous intention in the act, where is the professionalism behind the report? if a Journalist can not be sure as to the actual geographical location of a cogent point in a report, how credible can that journalist be, how competent is he/her, how reliable is the information.....Journalism is a profession, No errors ARE ALLOWED , because of the grave consequences it can have, on the polity, and the people.based on this anybody who takes that report serious must have his head checked. But we are idealists, so let us assume just for the sake of argument that certain facts of the report are true( minus the City Name). Does it matter that a BH Suspect is Yoruba? or Igbo? or Tiv.....?.........as long as you will not be spared in a terrorist attack if you are targeted, then it doesn't matter. We need to stop looking at things from A Tribal or religious or Political party point of view, because in the long run it doesn't solve the problems on ground, it only exacerbates them. WE are youths, let us stop been petty, let us stop sounding immature, we all know the problems we have in this country, let us STOP discussing the problems. Let us start discussing PRAGMATIC solutions. I know most of the smart people DONT Comment, It is usually the empty barrels who make the most noise. let us stop the ethnic, religious, political noise making...let us Talk and reason together. Please people. You are better than THIS. Rise above the ethnic barriers you have raised and start seeing issues objectively. |
let this be a lesson for all future idea originators when making presentations to VCs or Other Corporate entities. To protect yourself legally, make sure the idea is written in a proposal, or formal presentation, make sure a confidentiality agreement is included in the writeup that makes it binding for anyone in that corporate setting not to disclose or make use of your idea without your consent, for current and future employees of the firm. Even if you are going to discuss the idea verbally, make sure you submit the bulletproofed idea proposal and you receive a signed and stamped acknowledgement letter(which you will have prepared 2 copies of, one for your records, one for the firm}. the embedded confidentiality agreement does not need to be signed, it is what the reader will see first in the presentation, if he reads after the agreement, that means he consented. note that so as not to spoof off the VCs or Firm, do not state in the acknowledgment letter that the proposal contains a confidentiality agreement, if you must do so, let it be in legalese or small print. This is because most corporate entities have an inclination to rip off idea people, and they might not want to listen to your presentation if they see that you cant be cheated, and you dont want that. diamond bank will tell you they dont need your idea, while working on it, gtbank will tell you they are working on the same idea.protect yourself. |
Well, i do not blame doubting thomases who are saying the car is not in nigeria, it may be true, but let me assure u......there are bugattis in nigeria. i live in abuja, and i also dabble in real estate....i know clients that shell out the average of 700 million air5a to buy blocks of flats, or mansions, i have seen small boys dey drive panameras and bentleys..( in wuse, saw both during occupy nigeria, at the petrol station arnd the occupy centre)....in abuja, the more you see....the more you ask.............how come....?...seeing is believing , until u see one yourself, i wouldnt ask you to believe. |
This happened to me on monday, 16th apr 2012, at gtbank ilorin, i wanted to withdraw an amount from the atm, the machine told me transaction completed, i heard the whir of the counting, but no cash was dispensed., I didnt even bother, until something told me to check my balance, using the same machine, i discovered that i have been debited for the money intended to withdraw , which the machine failed to dispense. I entered the banking hall, was directed by a perfectly rude customer care officer to an equally rude guy in charge of atm complaints, people were on a queue- standing, and this guy was gisting and discussing with his mates....the anger i was feeling then was volcanic, but i managed to control myself in the face of all the sly and polite insults this guy was throwing at customers, like ''kindly join the queue'', '' kindly exercise some patience''.....e.t.c., saying this to people who have been waiting for tens of minutes, while you chat away unhurriedly on the phone is the highest form of disrespect a corporate body can show to its customers. After the whole stuff, i was told to write my name and acct number, and that the stuff will be treated within 24hrs......that was on Monday.....i went there again, nothing has happened, i was promised it will be treated under 24 hrs again. May be i will be the one who will run gtbank down via a colossal damages lawsuit.... ![]() |
@Babe, Now babe, why will i, for Gawds sake let my ears stray near the teeth of an angry women, ehn, ?, but then crazier things don hapun b4. If such should occur to me, i will do all i can to rescue my ears, then i shall run off like a coward, go to an hospital where i will make sure i am admitted for treatment, and get back to a stable condition, while still at the hospital, i go arrange for two very hefty Edo or Delta babes( like you) to go treat the woman's fuckup. so e go con be say as i dey comot for hospital she go dey enter am, and will assuredly spend something like 3 months there. that is the pragmatic thing to do. |
Given all the Brouhaha we have been having on the intricacies of dealing with your spouse, here are salient points that teaches you the finer details of punishing your woman. TEN WAYS TO PUNISH A WOMAN A. If she is you girlfriend 1.Ignore her, the silent treatment have been known to work wonders. 2. If she breaks your BB, break her BB, that is in material things, always adopt a teet for tat strategy, what is good for the Dog is good for the Bitch. 3.If she slaps you, pay a mango seller, or pepper seller to beat her up. 4. Order the maiguard to bundle her out. 5.You can make peace wit her, phuchk her like mad, then dump her . B If she is your wife. 1.Ignore her 2. Do not take her food. 3. If she slaps you, dont worry, come home with an allen avenue ashy the next day, who can always deal with her. 4. If she breaks your plasma Tv, seize her jewelries, or melt them, or flush them down the drain. 5. If she neva born 4 u,and she refuses to change, know that you can always Divorce her. Under no circumstance must you, as a gentleman, beat your woman, when you can always arrange for another woman to treat her fuckup for you. follow these rules, and no feminist , out of touch with marital realities, will accuse you as a woman beater |
@ tellwisdom, your sense of humor can cause wahala oooo, abeg i no dey flatter the babe oooo!, make person no con vex, smash my BB ooo, |
@goldie, you made a lot of sense, so does the OP, one of you doesn't have to be wrong, for the other to be right.let us remember that we are but humans, sensitive, emotional, psychologically influenced creatures, and unless carefully premeditated before hand, nobody can really say what can happen under the influence of shocking Anger, which was a direct result of carefully controlled boiling emotions, the smashing only served as a catalyst for a violent reaction that was just barely controllable, it can happen to anybody, and the OP was not claiming he was right in beating up a woman(who, no matter how inordinately senseless they may become, must never, under controlled situations, be assaulted), even though the act of the lady in question demands instant judgement, we all know justice can be ethically unstable atimes, especially privately meted justice, but the OP is remorseful, and can therefore be xcused for the ''crime'' in question, as long as another BB aint smashed out, |
i feel you guyz, from both sides of the fence, you have all been making a lot of sense. i believe the OP is not at fault, since he is nothing but an amateur woman beater, he is not a professional, it can happen to anybody, and the guy's remorse has cleared any moral charges that may be against me,that said.i believe the silent treatment is the best thing a man can use to handle any woman; UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE, just ignore her, or walk out, or do both, personally, should my GF do that kind of thing, i would simply pick up the pieces, calm her down, keep her off Guard, pounce upon her phone, smash it to smithereens, and order the maiguard to bundle her out, that is the end of that relationship,as they say one good turn deserves another, and the feminists will not say i have laid my hands on her, |
Baba Obasanjo all the way, Strong willed, Tough , Smart, Detribalized, Bulldozer with a sense of humor, People dont mess with him, coz he will not forget, nor forgive and he will pay back, B-H plus the city of maiduguri would have been history, if Obj was the president, |

Given the unsurpassed performance of our very able president, in reducing unemployment by increasing inflation( an economic theory, though the opposite is true in nigera), in removing the pains of subsidy inflation by buying 1000 buses for all of us in nigeria, in operating a budget that is the envy of all world presidents, in making sure that Boko haram rivals niger delta militants so as to obtain a balance of terror in nigeria, in this and many other commendable things, i Propose that so that we nigerians should continue enjoying the |

I would like to ask: Why is polyandry, polygamy illegal in the UK and most western nations, ?, is it not a relationship between ''consenting'' individuals, are they harming members of the society, ?please answer that, then apply it to our recent homosexuality laws, and see for your self how self serving and hypocritical these oyinbos can be, you are ''denying ''human right in one instance and ''demanding'' human right in the other, foolish people, |
@BEAF, Well what can i say, that a smarter thief beat your own ''holy'' thief, i am now an hypocrite, ? thank God, at least it is clear that i am one, an hypocrite any-day is better than a sorry ass sycophant like ya, you are one of those people who will insist even to the point of idiocy that black is white, even when it is clear to the whole world it aint, but then maybe your brain was wired differently from ours, i have never come across anybody, offline and online, who is more sententious than you, you hold the record in that, |
@ Beaf, i really dont understand you anymore, why ? i just dont know how you could sell your integrity for some smelly naira notes that will still finish, but then , reuben abati did the same, what else cannot happen, |

And God will continue to increase your wisdom, apart from the jibes abt baba awolowo, these are my sentiments exactly, especially concerning Major Kaduna Nzeogwu, who in my estimate, is the sole Hero of the past in Nigerian History,All the stories about the war apart, who brought tribalism to Nigeria politics? |

@Nytnplus, me sef i wonder oooo, !!! |
As much as i would not like to join issues with you, seeing that you seem not to have more productive occupations at the moment, at the same time i would like to remind you, or tell you about something they call argumentum ad hominem, while it is clear that the ''palm-wine tapper'' and the ''akara seller professors'' at the UI have taught me how to present my views in a public debate in an ethically balanced manner, it is apparent that CU ''professors'' have not done the same job on you. To make my point clear; since i see that you are intellectually unfit (through no fault of your own, but possibly genetic) to understand my previous post, as lucid as it is, in a STANDARD university setting, you have three classes of lecturers, professors, doctors and the others,, while most systems in Nigeria use a mix of the three, 90 percent of my lecturers were FULL professors, the rest were doctors, capisce? |
Very sad thread, While it is clearly obvious, in fact, glaringly apparent that the almighty UNIVERSITY OF IBADAN cannot be compared to any other university, as it operates in a kind of rarefied Olympian altitude, we must not forget , or fail to observe that if private universities are continually funded as they are now, on a consistent basis, they may very well surpass the UI in the next 20-37 years. The UI is a very good school ,f or many reasons, reasons like the abundance of professors, and brilliant co-students ,which equates to very high standards. In fact, while i was at the UI 90 percent of my lecturers were professors, and it is extremely hard to get a distinction in their courses, therefore, based on theoretical knowledge the UI has no peer. But when it comes to practical skills, i mean practical engineering skills, like the ability to use CAD systems for draughting and structural design, or the ability to create software apps, private schools have an edge here, because they usually have in-house fully equipped labs, and IT infrastructure in place., in public school, it is only the student who goes the extra mile who will be able to get this practical skills, but then, as with everything in a pubic school u are expected to go the extra mile in achieving your goals. That said, we all know that people who compare, or deign to have the shadow of the thought that CU is better than UI are only indulging in psychological consolation, and so we should tolerate them in this regard. |
. . .And with such little steps, the journey to true federalism begins. It will take us to a land where the local govt is king and states and the FG lose considerable power. Fresh Air! Cool @Mr Beaf, while i have always followed your postings with a detached interest, i cannot help but respond to this particular posting. i want to believe that the comment attributed to your username in this particular thread is cynical, because if it is not so, the said statement has just shown that you actually endorse a form of federalism that wastes money in creating bureaucracies whose functions overlap with each other and which serve nothing but superficial purposes. at a time when Mr Good-luck Jonathan should implement means of cutting down the costs of running government and streamlining the various bureaucratic establishments to make them truly efficient and functional, this particular move is really disappointing.i beg to ask , who will fund this latest bureaucracy?, how will it benefit the masses in a way that the local council has been unable to ?, why, if i may ask not redesign and reposition the local government bureaucracy in a more efficient way so that it would serve the same purpose behind this recent creation, instead of indirectly increasing Nigeria's recurrent expenditure and providing another avenue for politicians and corrupt citizens to embezzle public funds and mismanage the common resources of this nation, through the creation of an authority whose public projects and responsibilities will end at buying posh ''official'' cars for the people in charge?, |
this is commendable, but i still do not understand the reason why Nigerian youths fail, always fail to take a realistic approach in solving our collective problems, aping happenings in the western world cannot help us, people use hunger strike as a weapon where the perceived targets are believed to have a sense of shame, Nigerian politicians do not fall into this class, in fact any corrupt person in Nigeria does not fall into this class, they are so pathetic that they do not know what honor , integrity or patriotism means,so in order to defeat this particular strain of human societal viruses, the youth must adopt pragmatic approaches, and not approaches that stops at earning them headlines,or making them feel good about themselves.we must be pragmatic, and an hunger strike has no meaning whatsoever in combating systemic political and economic corruption in Nigeria. obviously, it is only the politically naive individual who will fall for such a publicity stunt like Mr wale's purported arrest, we are all aware of his antecedents.the way forward is this, join a political party, as long as it is popular or relevant in your constituency, and start the revolution from within, this is not the ideal way forward, but it is the pragmatic step forward , for the realists among patriotic Nigerian youths, and not those inclined to courting cheap fame by all means possible. |
people, due to unforeseen logistical complications, and the security situation in Nigeria, especially Abuja, the said Csc orion training has been cancelled. |
