62,000+80,000= 140,000.

He is correct you are inccorect. But the 80,000 of the secuirty and civil defense corp are all most all light infantry with only around 100 AFV (AT105 saxon and UR416. 4 transport helcopters (2 bell212 and 2 bell 222 and 4 light transport aircraft (1 cessna 500 2 PA-31 Navjo 1 PA-31-350 navjo chieftian)

So it basically light infanty. All so only the national army deploys and has heavy wepaons.

Littel fact negleted by some is that nigeria has only 47 BTR3-U(non of them with the mighty guardian turret)

The BTR3-U is a great APC/IFV and with a 30mm main gun packs a punch. But nigeria has one battlion of them. The rest of nigeria APC/IFV fleet is rather light. And Nigeria has less APC/IFV than the SANDF permant force IFV.

How come littel chad has sent 1000 more solders to malili than the giant of africa.

Some of the finest display of milltay skill has come from defeats or great losses. Delive wood in WW1 france was such a battel where under 10% of the SA forces suvervid but still held there ground. I am not talking about the politics of what happened in CAR i am talking about the battel, where between 200 to 300 SANDF solders with zero support killed between 400 to 1000 rebels. The legality and ethics of the deployment are another matter.
