Politics / Re: Buhari And Mutually Assured Restoration By Ben Murray Bruce by anulaxad(m): 11:48am On May 26, 2015 |
I want to begin by saying that the southerners that he is talking about clearly does not include the southwest. South-westerners are very grateful to both parties the mentioned'southerners' and northerners, we don't claim such nonsense such as Biafra and we don't claim oil belonging to us as we recognise that we are all one. Yes they may be some elements who may choose to act as tribalistic bigots, but the majority of us acknowledge where our produce comes from. Therefore I am offended my mr. Bruce saying that it is 'southerners' that choose to disregard the northerners when the south westerners themselves do not commit such deeds. I hope he realises his mistake, because everywhere I go on this forum, there is always one 'biafran' who feels the need to claim the nations oil as theirs and insults his neighbours calling them dependent. |

youngalex: Look at the way you are defending Jonathan. He dramatically increased our national and foreign debt, his icomepentrence has led to over 5 million homeless and in refugee camps in the north, recently we learnt that there are an additonal 1.5 million Nigerians living in refugee camps across our borders. Could this happen if we had OBJ; a general. We have no fuel, light is at around 1350 MW, can you imagine that was much lower than OBJ regime yet Jonathan has spent countless so called 'billions' on this project; only in Nigeria. OBJ was no saint, but his will brought democracy to Nigeria. He patriotically cleared all Nigeria's debt and of course increased our foreign account from nothing to over 70 billion dollars. Not only has GEJ brought upon debt, but has ferociously decreased our foreign account. He has left debt all over the place; even in aso rock. I have too much to say about this wicked element they call GEJ but I shall stop. |

rabzy: I'm going to disagree with you there, I live in the UK and I believe I am well educated on the subject of flooding as I am a geographer. The UK is known for it's very disciplined drainage system so flooding is extremely rare, and I can guarantee that what I saw in that picture could never occur here in the UK; with people still wallowing in high depths of water. The UK has quite alot of rivers(also known as drainage basins) which naturally act as basins for water that comes from precipitation and if the basins are flooded the towns or villages surrounding may flood, but in those towns themselves they would have a drainage system underground so chances of flooding are very low. The last major 'flood' that had significant damage to the UK was in Boscatle, 2004, and even in that event no-one had died or was injured; which sane country will allow its citizens to wallow in water up to people thighs;only in Nigeria. Anyway, I'm a huge fan of EKO ATLANTIC, I hope one day that I might relocate there. 5 Likes |

I don't pity him, OBJ has successfully made sure that this man will be extradited from this country. Of course the last words of the Kashamu will of course be hate and un-relinquished pain. |

Wickedness at its peak, Sunday should be a day of rest and peace for the citizens of this great nation, and Jonathan has ruined and failed to address that peace for millions of Nigerians. Over 1.5 million displaced northerners, and now probably more than half the country's population is suffering due to his failure to pay the petroleum providers. Is this life? Happy Sunday, by the grace of God we can and will get through this. |

Why are people still mocking the APC government, as you can see they have provided evidence and details of what damage that they have to fix. So why are there still some ignoramuses supporting the failed government known as PDP. They should stop pretending as if they are not suffering from all the pain and havoc caused by the current administration |

She has aided the development of our currency inflation, recklessly took on multiple debt from western organizations and of course invaded our foreign excess account. Why wouldn't they (the west) award her for co-operation to destroy this helpless country. Imagine, there are some who pretend to not have been affected by her policies; the audacity. 1 Like |

No race and ethnic group in this country is peaceful as a collective whole, just because their your 'heroes' (GEJ) people doesn't not mean they do not consist of the radical one or two. Peace indeed. If your government, the one you admire so much had been able to build the feasible facilitates needed to train them so they can have a prosperous future, this will not be the case.Furthermore this is even more disgraceful as your PDP government couldn't properly secure security in the former CAPITAL of the country; leading to the death of five people. 1 Like |

By the way I just discovered who Saraki is, after reading his profile I am belittled and shocked that PDP agents are calling for the probe of this man, he was the first state governor to implement free healthcare to its special state's citizens(old, young, pregnant e.g), known for his vision in infrastructure development and wait for it, brought power to the rural and urban areas of the state, due to his visionary stance the average citizen of Kwara state enjoys 19-22 hours of electricity or 90% compared to the national average of 30%. I'm shocked that I have never heard of this man and his good doings, humble he must be. |
Politics / Re: Transparency Int’l Rates President Jonathan Govt As Best, Says Buhari, Obasanjo by anulaxad(m): 8:56pm On May 13, 2015 |
Complete utter nonsense. This has no bases even with a source to provide for it. OBJ provided cheap call rates for Nigerians who wanted to call family of friends abroad, he really developed our internet and mobile infrastructure which puts us ahead than any other country in west Africa, though he was corrupt but never failed to tell the truth. Buhari's regime was the least corrupt and no-one can testify against that, that's of course if they're mentally deluded. But what jonathan caused is unforgivable, thousands have died due to his incompetence, millions of Nigerians (aprox 5-7 million) left homeless and living in refugee camps, that's more than the whole population of Libya, he allowed 20 billion dollars or even more to go missing, he spent 3 trillion naira on elections alone. Thread should be deleted before it causes some people's blood pressure to boil. |

The question most Jonathanians like yourself asked or doubted was if the money was for other issues such as debts to the company, and other garbage like that. But we can all see the truth. I shall not be wasting my time going through old followed threads looking for a pictured receipt of which we all saw. If you want to believe I am a liar than I must refer to you as an ignoramus with no morals who defends a government with tons of innocent blood on its hands. |

Ogun state is a different place, the people there even with their historical values and traditions are not even close to being bigoted tribalists, their very open and lenient people, anyone who has been to Ogun state will agree. I'm glad at the reasonable development this state has been receiving due to Amosun's administration, and I hope this project succeeds. |

crixtex: Ignorance is your downfall you came to insult me before and now you fail to respond properly to my points I mentioned earlier. Learn one thing, and that's GEJ is the worst leader Nigeria has ever had, he is responsible for the most civilians lives lost (other than the civil war) in this country, he allowed his ministers to use private jets while they had their own ministerial jets to their disposals, he allowed his ministers to embezzle 20 billion dollars, he allowed students to spend up to 10 years for university courses of which is only 4 years, he supervised millions of people becoming poorer under his tenure, and lets not forget the millions of northerners who all had homes and jobs of who are now living in refugee camps, the embarrassment has been immense. So he 'built houses in his hometown for his people', do you have any idea of how foolish you sound, you do know that's technically breaking the law for a president to favor his own people than others, but what would a dunce like you know. Waste of public funds, how many properties must this man have. It is devastating, while millions of nigerians have became poorer under his tenure. I mean have any of you GEJ loyalists saw the hotel he constructed for his wife, he spent billions of Naira on that project. Defcon1: You know I was looking at all the nonsense and foolish comments on this thread but your one tops the list. Who are you to be making judgments, and you painfully said 'atrocities', when you mentioned this word I was asking myself is this guy alright, atrocities such as the fact that he: provided free and quality education for his people, provided free healthcare for it's citizens oil revenue went straight to its citizens banks largest irrigation project a man who slept in a tent until his citizens all had houses 0 percent interest on loans as it was law gave people interested in farming free land and resources new wedded couples 60,000 dinars( 50, 000 US DOLLARS) and so much more Find me his atrocities, no I dare you to find me his atrocities. Propaganda is a dangerous weapon in the news we have. NATO killed him due to the economic policies he was proposing, even western analyst came on live tv to admit this. The same country where THE US was giving weapons to AL- queda to fight his government. It hurts when people show their ignorance with no shame. And by the way you are disgustingly ignorant for calling Gadaffi a dictator, this guy was simply a figure head like the monarch of England, his people controlled Libya through small parliaments and a very well developed social system that he created to empower all his people. His people love him, 2/3 of his people went to the green sqaure on 2011 to pay their respects and protest their anger against the killing of their leader. watch this, please do; even if you watch this for 15 mins only https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=THlaMUq6MKU 32 Likes 2 Shares |
