why cant INEC verify the credentials as the constituition mandates them to? and why would Justice PDP Mary Odili outrightly disqualify a Governor because of his deputy even when it has being established that the Party actually owns the mandate and not the candidates

According to page 16 of the posted judgement, the JSCs only reasoned that since the candidate was changing name incessantly, he must be fraudulent. To me, this is an opinion that was not proven. I am not a lawyer, but if there is no law that stipulates the number of times you can change your names, no crime has been committed. He can only be said to have committed a crime if any of those documents don't belong to him or if any was fraudulently obtained, the fact that was not proven.
That a fraud was committed should not be based on opinion but fact.
I also felt strongly that the court should not take away the right of the people to choose their leaders based on error of someone.
Though, the Imo judgment was deemed faulty, but the judgement says, Hope scored the highest number of votes.
Our electoral act needs urgent and serious revisit to address these issues. The Zamfara governor score less than 25% of votes casted, but he is the governor today. Those judgments are against and punish the people of the land and not just the candidates.

Bloody fools. Even USA has fewer than 20 visa categories- less than 7 if you remove immigrant visas.

Nigerian should have EVisa for Schengen, Japan, US, UK and China. They should pay flat $100 for 90 days stay but those greedy crooks at Nigerian Embassy abroad can't just allow that because they rely on harassing visa applicant for bribe.

India has Non Resident Indian ID card that can be used to enter the country in lieu of passport/visa. Once you have that one, even if you have only Nigerian citizenship, if you have that ID card, you will get automatic visa on arrival.

This country is just mad. Let me mistakenly get Visa I will run away. Seeing the kind of backward and retrogressive policies that this country implements just kills my spirit. How can Nigeria at this point still be putting such nonsense in place.

I am tired. 79 visa categories on top of what? Short-term Business, Visitor, and long term work permit are all that we need. Simplify the process and let everyone that wants to apply for Visa apply online and just tender passport on arrival to get the visa imprinted and you move on.

It's not like the case is extremely solid.

The judgment is based on the discretion of the judge but she chose to resolve the case again the defendant.
