lefulefu:Very wrong notion. Phones are not cheap. That people generously send things to people in 9ja does not mean they are cheap. If you are exporting phones to 9ja officially, you can collect 20% VAT back from UK custom service. But that is bureaucratic rigmarole most will not go through if sending one or a few phones to relatives in 9ja. Even top grade used phones are not cheap. If you want to know, compare prices on Jumia or Konga in 9ja with a popular UK phone shop like www.carphonewarehouse.com or shopping store like www.argos.com Also check ebay online to compare prices of both old and used ones, with the caveat that many products on ebay are not original/genuine products. With all these info you might better appreciate gifts you receive from abroad. Unless you deal in phones stolen abroad. |
namdo:Are you not surprised that many Northern governors went ahead with Sharia law without FG approval, yet governors have not deemed it fit to defy FG and create state police (proper police, not just yeye policing quango) to protect their own people? FG defies law courts' orders routinely, governors/assemblies should do same to FG. What is good for the goose is good for the gander. But we have spineless "monthly oil money allocation" governors and inept/corrupt state legislatures. |
Whether IG relocates, dislocates or whatever, it won't change a thing. IG knows that he dare not use lethal force against herders. So he and his men just tacitly avoid herdsmen altogether. Why relocate to fight herdsmen whoen he knows Buhari has no intention of doing anything for real? |
Can be confusing to differentiate. Alignment is to ensure wheel is straight relative to the ground and steering wheel. Balancing is to equally distribute weight/load so that spinning is smooth. I remember a Mechanic using pidgin English to explain it long ago. Obviously with more driving experience you might notice when both need attention. |
Funny people. ![]() |
Hehehehe. ![]() I would have forgiven this guy's mumurity if he didn't post the epistle. After all everyone becomes mugulicious at one point or the other. $200 in one sitting is much but not enough to be lamenting. If he doesn't know at his age that he needs to play it cool with the babe to get anywhere, he's still a learner. Haba! |
Nowenuse:Sorry I do not know if I responded to this before. I can only hazard a guess. Nightmare is just an unpleasant dream. If you were lazying in a sun lounger in the Caribbean with Nikki Minaj next to you, sipping cocktail, beautiful blue sea/sky as far as the eyes can see, it won't be a nightmare, would it? ![]() In such a situation you won't wake up trying to fight or runaway. You will just gradually peacefully wake up or even if interrupted, you won't be in a fighting/aggressive mood. Witches, if they exist, get a lot more credit than they are actualy capable of. Therefore situations in which we wake up from a nightmare and cannot act out our fear due to being momentarily incapacitated ("pressed down" ) become a much more vivid experience. Whereas we often quickly forget sweet dreams. |
Very sad. Must have been difficult living famous dad's shadow. RIP. |
livebynite:So if someone has a thriving business but no degree and self-employed, he/she cannot share your flat? Even our "dear" president has no WAEC certificate. ![]() Good luck with the flatshare. |
Ngokafor:Lol. They think a Fula in power will behave like GEJ who believes in rule of law & democratic tenets. ![]() Their culture, theism and way of life has nothing in common with democracy. When we warned people to look at Buhari's antecedents in democracy, performance in govt, rule of law etc, we were branded tanoids, etc. Even those of us that are not Igbo were branded all kinds of things related to Biafra. Anyone who tried to be objective suffered Igbophobic abuses. It made me to really think if Igbo would not actually be better off on their own. It was as if they have no right to voice opposition or take a stand on political matters affecting this country. |
deebrain:With her hubby one of the most ferocious and poisonous scorpions. ![]() |
emilykang:Because he has a prominent forehead. ![]() Try compare his to family members'. You might see why. |

Which Nigerian law allows this kind of financial settlement in lieu of jail time? |
Police and shooting over women are like 5 & 6. Abeg make someone help with that Zuma pic. RIP to the oga police and nice jail time to the corporal. |
Please include title documents with each. Thanks. |
Buhari should have not bothered to go into partisan politics. That way he could have preserved the "toga of integrity" that Tunde Idiagbon built for him as military HoS. |
Mr Fashola said electricity is not rocket science. It has now turned into nuclear physics + rocket science + robotics/artificial intelligence combined. ![]() Shebi to talk nor hard. |
SalamRushdie:Nor mind them. Tinubu thinks everyone is a zombie. Buhari who denied us the chance to be a leading world democracy and jailed Dr Ekwueme for no just cause is the messiah, right? |
chigoziem10:A level would be best. Plus admission test/interview for the most competitive courses by the University free of charge. A level would be a lifelong certificate. Not like the yearly Jamboree of Jamb. A level can also become minimum requirement for police recruitment, peace corps, etc. They can introduce A level subjects like criminal justice and security studies for such purpose. We are just not innovative enough. |
Hehehehe! Some will soon blame GEJ for this. ![]() |
SalamRushdie:People do not want to accept it o. We were on course again from 1979. Post-civil war reconciliation was still possible. To begin Shagari pardoned Dim Ojukwu. He returned and joined NPN. A national party, not regional party. But with either Pa Awo or Dr Ekwueme likely to win 1987 election, Buhari and cohort struck. They can claim Buhari did not take part in the coup all they want. Everything again went downhill from there. From 1999 to early 2000s looked promising, but the politicians were even more greedy and less committed than those from 1959 to 1984. As for now we're just sleepwalking. Anything can happen. But the looting class are happy. |
Dem say if a woman nor marry two husband, e nor dey know the one wey better pass. ![]() Make dem enjoy the change jor. Buhari till 2031! ![]() |

But his just graduated son has over 250,000 Dollars kpere to secretly buy power motorbikes from Germany. Wait until the boy buys Gulfstream Jets to play with. |
My worry is before we can get 9ja back to where it was few years ago will be tough. The decline is so rapid. Unemployment and hopelessness cause all kinds of social problems. Kids having to fend for themselves. It's dog eat dog out there if you have no money. And increasingly anything goes. |
laydoh:Actually very easy to blow money. Especially if you did not labour hard for it. The thing is if they were making the money easily then it might seem money will keep rolling in. And with many hangers-on and babes, you can see why. Someone with hard-earned $50,000 might not easily go broke again. But fraud money can be like juju money too. Easy come, easy go. |
bjayx:God bless you. Some remain just friends. But in many there has been something sexual at some point. And both "agreed" it should never happen again. Until they do what humans are best at: succumbing. Or at least one has declared intention to go beyond just friendship but has been friend-zoned. The friend-zoned one already accepts he/she cannot get the leading role. He/she might just be content with a supporting role. For now. ![]() Opportunity makes the thief. I always had many female friends. But I always gradually withdraw once they get serious with a guy or get married. While nothing ever happened between us, I am quite conscious that men are generally not comfortable with gf/fiancee/wife having very close single male friends. |
luminouz:Hehehehehe! The story is not genuine na. Lol. ![]() Which idiot would be confused about such an obvious betrayal? If it was me I will NOT go to that house alone. I'd get a witness to follow me. With a rolling camera sef. After all both could have decided to kill him and dispose off his body quietly. Everybody would think he/groom probably got cold feet and ran away. The bride is the last person anybody would suspect. 50/50 chance now that the baby belongs to the "best friend". Maybe even 70/30 in favour of best friend. All those "rogue" sperm would easily beat the "entitled" sperm sef. By the way about 35% of firstborns belong to another man outside as well as about 25% of all kids. ![]() If he's considering going on with the marriage he should quickly write his last will and testament. ![]() |
freedomchild:When did most Nigerians become interested in the truth? Truth is only when it relates to others. If the truth reveals their own foolishness, scam, intentions or source of food as immoral or not biblical they do not want to hear. They will call the person saying the truth all sorts of names. We are probably the most hypocritical set of people on earth. |
