osahonmk:So we thought by May 29th 2015. Now we know better. ![]() |

rottennaija:He Looted Rivers money to bring Buhari to power. Was that what state allocations are meant for? When ND people complain about no development, they say blame ND governors. As a big looter and former governor, he's rightly being lambasted. Moreover, Amaechi openly admitted looting, saying he and others loot because people refuse to stone them. Imagine his cheek. ![]() Next time stones rain on him, I hope you won't say it's just because of Buhari. |
ajebuter:Haba! They cannot claim it. They have not even implemented their budget yet. Can they be so shameless? ![]() |
aim5:Maybe he thinks the emergence of the Godfather of Nigerian Pentecostalism (Benson Idahosa), Chris Oyakhilome, Felix Omobude (head of CAN), Apostle Johnson Suleiman and many others from Edo State is a co-incidence. It is a culmination of interaction with Christianity that began in the 1480s. |
BUSHHUNTER:Big lie. Oba Ozolua (reigned 1481-1504) fought off potential Idah/Muslim invaders from Edo North in a 6 years war. The first Mosque in Benin was built in the 1860s by one of the sons of Oba/Eleko Kosoko who fled from the British/Madam Tinubu onslaught that led to removal of Oba Kosoko. Being aware of his ancient Benin origins, he sought refuge in Benin. But Oba Orhogbua (reigned 1550-1578) was already a christian Oba of Benin. He was close to christianising the monarchy but was resisted by the nobles. Remember that even just 4 or 5 years ago, late Olu of Warri, Atuwatse II, was resisted by his family/nobles when he tried christianising his throne.. Benin has possibly the oldest indigenous/native christian church/cathedral in West Africa: The Holy Aruosa Cathedral. Centuries before Cele. Where the Oba is the head of the church like Queen Elizabeth is head of Anglican Church, ahead of Archbishop of Canterbury. |
Imagine! What a twerkalicious conconbility. A very lugubriously twerkophilic generation of sui generis. ![]() |
menstrualpad:Every part of 9ja will be better off without oil. Every part has comparative advantage in one area or the other. But we all currently sit down waiting for oil money. We have to restructure seriously & innovate. |
pavy:In your wisdom, those (FG) who wasted 87% of the resources have no case to answer. Wow! You must be King Solomon. |
slimfit1:Well, in Nigeria, gentle and fair people are called clueless. We live in a society in which everything is upside down compared to saner climes. Any wonder why are nothing to write home about after 55 years? |
Greedy banker. Someone who can raise 2.5m in the current economic climate still dey look for magic soap money? It seems fetish is deep-rooted in the society. The banker might even be one of the noisy NLers here forming pastor. ![]() |
She must be well-connected. That's why the they are concealing her identity. |
slimfit1:True. For fear of being crucified by the majority tribes. If he had focused only on South, that would have been somehow justified to blame him now. Still GEJ was called tribal leader/Ijaw militant. It seems there's no pleasing those who think they own the troublesome never-do-well entity called 9ja. |
Youngetskilz23:Has nothing to do with Aba. Sulphonamides or sulpha drugs are mostly responsible, alongside other antibiotics and infection, where cause is known. In about 40% of cases, the cause may even be unknown. Sulphonamides remove bilirubin from the protein albumin. That is believed to cause epidermal necrolysis/cell death. When the protective top skin cells die, they start peeling away from the lower/inner layer of skin. Pretty much like serious burnt exposes the body to infection & dehydration. However, there is a genetic component to it since it happens because of hypersensitivity reaction of the immune system. |
All these happening under a retired Maj. General as president. I thought integrity & discipline are among those things they used to campaign? These disgraceful fighting touts in uniform are obviously not feeling him. ![]() No wonder, since he chose to be oil minister instead of defence minister. It clearly shows where his priorities lie. ![]() |
Tangible results make managing a brand easier. When somebody claims integrity and body language effect, yet the very first budget is seriously padded right under his nose, does that not rubbish the so called brand? Citizens have no fuel, no light (despite much increased tariff) , job losses, you now pay more than double for rice and other prices up, how can such brand make sense? ![]() People don't eat brand in their houses. They spend real money, eat real food, use fuel, use buses etc. |
adewumi91:The question is, which politicians are allowed to hold diplomatic passports by our constitution? For how long & when they should be returned? Can't these passports just be annulled and holders & border posts informed? Or at least 3 months notice given to holders about annulment. Or are they saying they don't even know how many diplomatic passports are out there? Why this drama? |
Dude, why are the tires almost deflated? Has it been parked for long? |
Now that major powers can do without our oil, when push comes to shove, they will simply ignore us or pay lip service. Just like they have done with fighting Boko Haram. People who want 9ja to scarra are many. From within and without. |
Rizmo:Or begin making masquerade costume that discharges weak electrical charges that makes a masquerade dance faster. ![]() |
It is gradually that water gets inside the coconut. If care is not taken, FG will be fighting crisis on many fronts: Boko, NDA, MASSOB, IPOB, economy, etc. ![]() |
iiiyyyk:But instead came up with divisive mathematics. 97% versus 5%. A man who accused GEJ of being divisive went ahead to invent maths of national disunity. No peace for the wicked. ![]() |
EgunMogaji:Oga Mogaji, maybe you should commission prof. Spyder to build such a hospital in Lagos, it would be nice. ![]() Bros you're right. Some errors individuals make sometimes are simply incredible. Once I went to visit a family friend who had a baby. On getting there, the wife narrated her ordeal in the hospital during childbirth. In a hospital over 700 years old. That pioneered many aspect of healthcare as it is known today, discovered many syndromes that are named after those individuals. In fact I am very proud of my association with such a great institution. When she told me the error I nearly fell from my chair. The most stark illiterate lady & inexperienced birth attendant in my village will never make such a mistake. ![]() |
ireneony:That is possible. But do you think our NASS members have not done any investigation at all? You know the medical system is very adamant to accept mistake. Except where bad publicity is likely. I know of a hospital that settled out of court (even thought not at fault) because when the news hits front page & a "poor" family laments bad treatment, na yawa. For an immigrant, considering the prevalent anti-immigrant sentiments in the Western public since about 10 years now, hospitals might not fear such bad publicity. |
ScamChange:My amiable nurse you're right ma. But sadly it's not that simple. Quite likely a middle aged man who goes jogging has some level of health awareness. The day we lost a mid-30s guy, who slumped while jogging like this man is the day it really hit me that it's not that simple. A high-flying, young, newly wed executive on a morning jog. No medical history, fit as a fiddle. His GP was quite surprised too. He had excellent company health insurance and did regular health MOT. I ensured I was at the autopsy (inconclusive) & got the final pathology report a couple of months later. It was congenital heart disease. I even used his case at a seminar presentation, after discussing it with one of the best national experts in CHD & pathology prof. |
ireneony:My dear, even the best healthcare systems are run by human beings and humans are capable of anything. Let's hope she's not a victim of certain mafia connections. Those guys can infiltrate anything. I hope you remember the days of operation "mani pulite" (clean hands) that showed extent of their reach. |
bondingman:When people kokoro voted out Goodluck, do you need a prophet to tell you what they were courting?? But this is exactly why people voted Buhari. To come and stabilise world oil market as he promised. Zombie be like: he did not mention LNG price, only oil prices he promised to stabilise. ![]() |
OgidiOlu3:Sadly some women run after money. |
Baba nor get energy for Calabar girls again jor. ![]() Make dem invite OBJ. ![]() |
Hassanjj:Some people did not get the memo that corruption is now an economic sector in 9ja. Truth is bitter & most When people who went through exam magic centres, bribed for admission, sorted lecturers (cash or in kind for some girls) to pass exam play holier than thou here, you shudder at their hypocrisy. If genuinely fighting corruption, thousands will have to return their degree certificates, hundreds of thousands resign from their jobs and other positions. Only after that can condemning corrupt politicians will really make sense. As it is now, sadly, corruption is everywhere. ![]() |
OP, OYO. ![]() |
UEDIBO:Dude, are you doing an IT job? And hope to gain more experience in your field? How do you cope financially? Is there no private business you can do with your IT skills? |
