One zombie was arguing with me yesterday that these trains dont exist. I tried my best to explain to him that trains are back. I even showed him a u-tube video of people riding trains from ph to enugu. He said the video was not shot in nigeria. I gave up.

Nor mind them. That line has been working at least about 18 months when someone I know used it.

Maybe u people are living in utopia,in egor,benin city; we have elecricity for average of two hours or none a day. If u dnt have generator or plant,u are on ur own and yet we are living in a city.

Very unfair. And we complain about 12 to 14 hours daily light in our part of Benin. It was about 16 to 18 hours a year ago.

That's the implication. Not that oil price is even high now to support the Naira.

More people are travelling abroad for leisure and business and demand for £/$/Euro increasing. That will further weaken the Naira.

If he has around N6m, a year's income as insurance to fall back on if business doesn't succeed, he can quit and enjoy family life more.

The problem with these corruption cases is that the accusations and figures mentioned will be rubbished. Not because there wasn't or there isn't corruption, but in a rush to nail GEJ's govt, they rushed things without thinking it through. The figures are just ridiculous and speakers for APC are too many. Including Oshomhole. They are just muddling up what normally seasoned auditors and forensic investigators should handle.

Only then should credible and possibly independent people speak authoritatively on the issue.
As it is now, it's all too partisan.

The day one guy told me how some of the cars we call tokunbo, is being stolen in Overseas and ship to Nigeria, I was so surprise that day. He said 90% percent of dem are stolen from Oyinbos and only 10% are brought as scrape and ship here. Big lie. I have shipped cars for decades, since being a teenager sef. All from hard work. Even as a student working at night and going to university during day time. For years on long courses.

It takes a great sophistication and criminal energy to organise shipping stolen cars. Western system is not as porous as in 9ja. 500 SUVs you can find even in a few streets in Mushin/Agege. Considering population of Nigerians in Canada. The number may even have been exaggerated. Most may not even be by Nigerians. Nigeria + crime is like honey in Western people's mouth.

Even a single stolen SUV is bad enough, not supporting them.

99.99% of Nigerians abroad are engineers, carers/nurses, cleaners, doctors, IT gurus, shop owners, check out assistants, civil servants and all manner of hardworking people. And I have been to a few dozen countries.

People barely having enough time to sleep after work and family duties, talk less of going about stealing cars.

Home-based Nigerians are too quick to accept any accusations levelled against foreign based Nigerians. Too much belle.

How many cars are snatched in Lagos daily? Is it by diaspora car-jackers?

Good move politically. Rubbish economically. That money can provide a lot of solar energy in the hot climate of the North.

That would help to solve part of our chronic electricity problems.

I wish they discover huge deposits in the North. That way, the likelihood of the North breaking away will be more. "Ya raba" chants will be louder then.
