I always had more female friends than male friends in the neighbourhood. Some of those female friends wanted more though. And some of my friends married the babes (my friends) that they met through me. I have no problem keeping close female friends. If I dig a babe, I don't waste time. I tell her before we become too friendly. Once too friendly, she becomes like a cousin/sister. |
Nomswilli:Very shameful. He could not even be mature with his Christmas message. He's paid with money that belongs to all Nigerians. No need for derogatory partisanship at a time like this. |
limpopo:Sorry, months back I meant. Sometime around March/April/May. |
Nice |
This has been on FP years back. |
Merry Xmas. |
sanky346:Many states have several advantages. Like Edo & Ondo, both are high producers of Cocoa, plantain & rubber. |
themall:Is there primary care at all? Those locked away in hospitals? In serious countries, family doctors and general practitioners are all over the communities. |
plaetton:Well, the North had come to fancy the unitary system introduced by Gen. Ironsi. Meant to pacify the North and strengthen " national unity", but was obviously in vain as he was killed. The central govt would have lost to much power to the states/regions. The North are still in opposition to true federalism till now. Primarily because of oil money. People don't give up power easily. It was also an opportunity to follow Sardauna, Ahmadu Bello's philosophy "to never let the Southerners be in charge of their own destiny, and to consider Nigeria as a property of our great grandfather Uthman dan Fodio". True federalism is diametrically opposed to such. The North are majorly conservative in politics. Hence it's very funny for GMB to be head of a so-called progressive amalgam of parties. ![]() |
Bantino:Not entirely true. Col. Katsina, Governor from the North was already not in full support of the accord from the beginning. Northern elite, and civil servants (who were often asked to leave the conference room when critical issues were being discussed) were equally horrified by the naivety of Gowon signing the Accord. Gowon went to Aburi to chat as "friends", Ojukwu on the other hand was fully prepared with his demands. Gowon was badly ambushed. Gowon thought that at the final meeting to smoothen everything to hold in NIFOR, near Benin City, some amendments could be made. Ojukwu having got wind of the changes made to the accord, and fear of possible kidnap, didn't attend NIFOR meeting. So died Aburi Accord. |

CaroLyner:In this day & age? With so many ladies everywhere? One oyinbo babe (OB) gave me that attitude long ago. OB: I don't know how I feel about our relationship. Me: Hmmmmm. OB: Yeah. Me: you were the one talking about marriage during Xmas, just two weeks ago. And I told you we shouldn't rush things. We have only been together a few months. OB: Yes. but I have been thinking since then. Me: Ok. And you were saying all that with your mum & siblings listening. OB:Yes. But now I need time to think things through. Me: Ok by me. But if think I'm gonna sit by the phone waiting for your call, think again. I was visiting to spend the weekend with her. I kukuma took my little rucksack and left immediately. I called a mate in the evening and we went to a club. On our way to the club, I met a gorgeous babe inside the train n we got talking, even about my gf. We exchanged numbers. A month later, the "train girl" gave me a call. We dated for a few years after that. |
Congrats! |

EternalTruths:Abi o. Buharoids will call it PDP propaganda. 9ja has no truth, only dirty politics. |
ok |
pretydiva:No. He will rather kill himself than commit suicide. ![]() The guy daft sha. ![]() |
Jarus:Well, Ethiopia, Nigeria & Ghana were the prime destinations for diaspora Africans. |
erico2k2:Lolz |
JoeCutie:So na Boko, abi ISIS boobs you dey like? Active, rebellious? ![]() |
Suits him nicely. Nigeria was seen as the best & biggest hope for black people. But we didn't live up to it. |
sonnie10:Tells you there are more Nigerians in USA than elsewhere. US immigration rules allows more family members to re-unite with a nationalized foreigner. US also has more space/capacity to absorb more immigrants than most other countries. |
Frankicent:I visit zoological gardens and zoos a lot. ![]() |
You give what you have. Give yours. |
Obinovictor:It's a deer. Not really tasty. I wouldn't even buy it to eat. Antelope is much tastier. Both are lean meat though. Antelope doesn't have those spotty stripes, and it's usually grey/ash colour, with a lighter underbelly. It's still a juvenile, deer can get very big. Time to start conserving these species. |
helyngabriel:From the pix, the front of the house is not showing. Is there any car parking space outside the house? |
blairlady:Gbam! How many people here will want to marry a regular club girl? Or would want his/her brother/cousin marry one? Then the lies/deceit involved. If you can lie about where you go, you can also lie about who you roll with. Like boyfriends/sugar daddies. Who knows in whose bed she ended up that night? It could all have been harmless fun but who can be sure of that? |
dazekid:Seconded |
Education & Health seem to have more allocated. Seems ok. But then Naira is worth much less now than same time last year. The increment might not make much difference. Where is the source of the huge non-oil revenue? From taxes/duties or what? Because, assuming less corruption, capable ministers and a desire to do well, implementing the budget depends on actually finding the money. |
0rex:And people will be passing by going to various houses of religious worship. ![]() The Christian ones will even hear the story of the "Good Samaritan" and shout alleluia. What a fraudulent world! |
Whether we like it or not, each society has certain values. We Africans take pride in our family values, the oldest and most important institution. The only insurance policy in a place where you're on your own. No social safety net. Many people here talk about marriage being overrated, not important, yada yada yada. Yet I believe none of you can afford to be so different from your social environment. How many here can openly admit being gay, being sexually attracted to younger girls/boys, elderly men/women, married men/women or some other unorthodox desires? Risk being labelled a pervert in our conservative, judgemental and hypocritical society? Yet we know such people exist. In our midst. We only get to read about them in the papers when they are exposed. |
Truckpusher:Lol. Well, this guy spent the last twenty or so years of his life in Europe, where he died. Even in Nigeria, some of the most hardworking & most successful people I know lost their fathers early in life. Even many public figures like IBB, Chief Gabriel Igbinedion, etc. Maybe extended family system of yesteryears made it slightly easier in some cases. Surely, many of those who end in social deprivation, even jail, these days have no parent(s). But that alone is not the cause of 70% of Nigerians living in quasi poverty. ![]() |
