ABJ4Real:The same elders have watched as Nigeria could not work for 102 years since Lord Lugard created it. The same elders watched as 3 million souls were snuffed out in the name of "one Nigeria". Now imagine you were an elder who witnessed all this, would you really be dancing the tune of 'one Nigeria' at this point in time? |
Nairaland has a become a place where people come to start threads after smoking Egyptian weed. |
kennyjodeci:But it will be the Nigerian police shooting at unarmed protesters right? Nigerians have a security outfit that does not follow the rule of law but that doesn't bother them, yet they wonder why the country is not moving foward |
No lives lost? But it will be the Police and Army shooting tomorrow, yet they are asking that no lives should be lost? |
The Igbo/Yoruba/Hausa man have never seen themselves as bothers since Lord Lugard brought them together. The only thing that is annoying about it is that the Yoruba and Hausa man know this to be the truth but still choose to be in a false Union where nothing works. |
Subbway101:At least Ojukwu declared his people a free nation and fought the combined military might of Nigeria, Britain and Russia for 3 years before running away. What did other leaders of the time like Awolowo, Adeyinka Adebayor, David Ejoor, Enahoro, obasunjo etc all do? They all raised their hands in surrender as the monumental cowards they all were and chanted: "Please Mr Northerner, spare my life! I remain your eternal slave and servant of one Nigeria" At least Ojukwu fought, these ones surrendered even before any gun shot. |
Yorubamafia:And Nigerian territiory is owned by Lord Lugard, we shall never allow him sti steal our lands |
sarrki:Olukayode Ominia Aka Biafraudexposed, how far now? How's things going in Mbaise local Govt? I wonder if you have shaved that your silly beard of yours on your picture that is circulating here on Nairaland? Look I know you love trolling the issue of Biafra using your various monikas, but can't you make it even less obvious? You write in the same style all the time. BTW, tell your sister hi for me. |
Yorubamafia:They probably would have been 100 times better off if they didn't have to share their Oil and Gas wealth with the likes of you. They probably would have been paying you to catch their Fish for them by now. |
bi0nics:Not while we are inside a Hausa/Fulani dominated country like Nigeria, being protected by a Hausa/Fulani police force, under a Hausa/Fulani controlled Military under a Hausa/Fulani president. We don't stand a chance in that condition. But an independent Igbo controlled country under an Igbo police force, backed by an Igbo military under an Igbo president, that's a game changer. That's the type of country Hausa/Fulani dare not mess with. At least you now know why some Igbos wish to have their own country and control their destiny. |
bi0nics:Haven't you heard? Igbos are fighters, they have fought a civil war before for 3 years. They can take care of themselves. But you guys who can't fight, it's game-over |
They finally got tired of using TRIPOB and REIPOB, now it is coalition of MASSOB and IPOB? Jokers. They didnt even want to address the issue that it is the federal Government that is killing Biafran agitators. Nigerians are not even happy that IPOB is using sit-at-home method? Go and tell Boko Haram, Herdsmen and Niger Delta Avengers to use sit-at-home method |
Bujumbura:Oh yeah! Olukayode Omidina. The Yoruba man who decided to carry Biafran matter on his head like a bag of Rice. He claimed to be from Mbaise Local Govt when no such thing exists. As they ban one of his many Monikas on NL, he jumps to the next one to open anti-Biafran threads. It is all a reflex action. Yorubas are scared out of their minds about Igbos leaving Nigeria, the thought drives them mad. If Igbos go, who will save Yorubaland from being overrun by Hausa/Fulani? You have to feel for them, if Biafra is declared, they are finished. |
uyiekpen26:Another Yoruba man comes with his 'divide and rule'. Which one is "real Igbo"? Why didn't you ask the Ikwere Man to explain to you the difference between real and unreal Igbo? Please stop confusing the biafrian agitators that are aware of your resourcesLate Major Gen Philip Effiong said in his book "Biafra:My story" that on the day that Ojukwu declared Biafra on 30th May 1967, the largest contingent that came to Enugu to celebrate the creation of Biafra were Ikwere people. Please no ethnic bashing on this thread I beg of you..God bless you as you comply. Here are the ethnics and List of indigenous peoples of Rivers State:What this list means is that there are no Ijaws or Ogonis in Rivers? How will you explain that one to an Ijaw man like Asari Dokubo? By the way, where is Republic of North-North? |
I wish him a Happy Birthday......... But he is still a traitor and a conceited misfit. |
simplycarro:IPOB is is yet to harm anybody, it is now they will do it? BTW, I don't see you speaking up when those that are actually harming people such as Boko Haram, Herdsmen, Nigerian Police and Army are in operation. It is when you hear IPOB that you suddenly become security cautious. |
LoveMachine:The important question you should be asking is why Nigeria is a country that breeds discontent and militancy in every part of it. |
badman007:You should look deeper into history. Biafra was an ancient Kingdom that existed long ago and covered much of what is now South Cameroon and South East Nigeria. Nigeria is just a word that came about because some British opportnunist called Frederick Lugard came to West Africa to make money. Africa is blessed alright, but much of the continent is still in the hands of political gangsters and slave masters. Until we become free to manage our selves, we are heading nowhere. |
Good! Anything to put an end to the "Federal Republic of Lord Lugard" is welcome! |
timeman:Just like I thought, you can't answer the question but you are looking for truth, hypocrite. But I will answer your own question. Nobody can bring war to themselves. The person who comes fighting is the one who brings war because if that action were not taken, there would be no war. The instigator of a war is always the person who attacks first, no matter what the dispute is. The reason it is this way is that the person who attacks first could have chosen other methods of conflict resolution such as, dialogue, discussion, concession or outright inaction. Anyone who commenses military action against another, for whatever reason, is the one who starts a war. |
timeman:The truth must be spoken? Then start with your self by answering this question. Who came down to the East to kill 3 million people? |
Only a complete morron chooses to be those with those who are hellbent on killing and dominating him. |
Umu Chukwu! |
Looks more like translation devices. |
Yorubamafia:You have been trying that same "unity" for 102 years, where are you today? 3 million people were killed for that "unity", where are we today? Others that have held the Presidency of Nigeria in the past, where are they today? The British only merged us in other to exploit us. Any sort of union is always an experiment to see if two or more entities can actually stay together, it failed woefully in the case of Nigeria. It is only natural to explore other alternatives............... |
oginineme:The Herdsmans case was in court before the grazing law was passed. It should also be known that the herdsman was not jailed for grazing, but damaging farmland which is a criminal offence. When someone goes and destroys another persons property, wether with cattle or not, it is a criminal act. |
Most Nigerians are forever trapped in their "Lord Lugard made me a Nigerian" slave mentality. That is why when they see someone like Kanu who is preaching self determination, they can't understand it. No wonder Kanu describes them as Baboons and Monkeys. I don't know if Kanu is actually sick in Jail but that is beside the point. He is a freedom fighter and all freedom fighters suffer persecution from the authority of oppression they fight. At least Kanu is fighting a noble cause of freedom. The rest of Kanu's critics are just slaves who are still thanking Lord Lugard for coming to West Africa to 'nickname' them Nigerians. |
badman007:You are 100% Nigerian? 100% of what were your ancestors before Lugard came to create Nigeria? And 100% of what would you be today if Lugard had never come? |
Our people have produced some notable Pilots over the years. The same Igbo man who flew Ojukwu into exile at the end of the war was the same person who flew Gowon into exile when he was ousted from power |
A lot of people, especially in the South do not know that it is the intention of the Hausa/Fulani Empire to one day conclude their uninterrupted conquest of Nigeria. That is why I laugh at my fellow Igbos who talk about 'one Nigeria'. Unless the Igbo nation becomes independent of Nigeria, it will one day become part Usman Dan Fodios empire. |
shukuokukobambl:No one is fixated on Yorubas or Awo, on the contrary, we have been trying to get away from you guys and your Hausa/Fulani overlords since 1967. This is all about recalling history. Awo exposed himself as a lier and hypocrite before the war began by his utterances, actions and inactions. This was a man who came out of jail when over 50,000 Igbos were being slaughtered by Northerners, but this same Awo was the same person who suddenly believed that the same Northerners were the best people to do 'one Nigeria' with lol. Who is fooling who? Awo should have come out like a man to confess that he is a 'northern a$$licker' who believes in 'one Nigeria' because he was too much of a coward to do what Ojukwu did. At least, we would have known that he is a man of his word. But instead, like the two faced politician he is, he went to Enugu to tell Ojukwu he would secede the Yoruba nation out of Nigeria if Igbos did so while returning to Lagos to tell Gowon and his band of Northern criminals that he for 'one Nigeria'. Oh well, we all know that it was all about Oil anyway |
