Baba God, i am trying all i can to be part of the small 5% that rule the worlds financial power. Baba, bless my work, open my eyes to the gold mine-opportunity- of our time. Baba i want to live life........ |
I think the republicans need to shun political differences right nw and tackle this gun issue. They should revisit the idea of gun control initiated during the Obama administration, if they are not satisfied with obamas, they should provide a better one to tackle this menace. |
A 15-year-old boy opened fire with a handgun just before classes started at his high school in rural western Kentucky on Tuesday, killing two fellow students and wounding 13 other youths before he was arrested, the state’s governor and police said. The shooter, who has not been officially identified, entered a common area at Marshall County High School in Benton shortly before 8 a.m. (1400 GMT), pulled out a pistol and began firing at students, witnesses told Kentucky media. The suspect will be charged with two counts of murder and multiple counts of attempted murder, the Kentucky State Police said. Police have not released a motive for the shooting but said they believed the gunman acted alone. The bloodshed at the school of nearly 1,150 students in a small farming town was the latest outbreak of gun violence that has become a regular occurrence at schools and college campuses across the United States over the past several years. The students killed were Bailey Hope, a 15-year- old girl, and Preston Cope, a 15-year-old boy, state police said. Five of the victims were in critical condition, police said, but hospital officials said they expected all those wounded in the incident to survive. “I see this guy draw from his side and he pulls out a pistol. I didn’t even know what was going on. And then it registered. About the time it registered, this guy was sitting here pulling the trigger into all of us,” student Bryson Conkwright told TV station WKRN. “I can hear the gunshots. He was shooting in our group,” said Conkwright, showing where a bullet grazed his hand. Kentucky State Police previously reported that 14 people were shot, including the two who died, but changed that number to 15 late on Tuesday. Apart from those who were shot, five other people were also injured in the chaos, police said. All 20 of the victims were between 14 and 18 years old. At least one hospitalized student suffered a broken jaw from falling and being trampled while trying to escape, Marshall County prosecutor Jeff Edwards said in a phone interview. Edwards toured the school, from which he, his wife and their children all graduated, describing signs of the scramble to flee from the gunfire. Backpacks, cellphones and clothes were strewn in the main area where the shooting occurred, he said. “When it happened, apparently everyone left everything laying,” Edwards said. “It made it real, seeing the disarray.” https://www.reuters.com/article/us-kentucky-shooting/kentucky-school-shooting-kills-2-wounds-13-teen-arrested-idUSKBN1FC209 |
Mama and daughter just finish the whole makeup and left none for the groom. This no good ooo simi........ Na so una go dey finish food for house without remaining for the papa ni? |
very good, i jst pray this will b a successful project. But the Edo state government have a lot to do if this project is to b a success. They hav to tackle insecurity in form of pirates and also b prepared to play and win the puzzles and challenges by the political class of 9ja who are hell bent on destroying success. |
Alariiwo:i'm not here on tribal sentiments. i am jst stating the facts and moreover i'm a 'full blooded' Ekiti boy. all i am saying is government need to do more on planing and environmental sanitation in the SW. In Akwa Ibom i am so impressed with those ppl when it comes to cleaning. they do go as far as taking care of their roads themselves. it is in Akwa Ibom dat one needs to clean his shop including the road in front of the shop. But in Ekiti here, they will sweep their shops and dump the refuse right there on the road. Visit Adebayo axis in Ado Ekiti, u will see refuse on a straight line inbetween the double lane. the same with Ajilosun. it saddens me alot when i see this. u cant see refuse along the road anyhow in uyo, owerri or Enugu. |
i have it in mind to open a thread about the dirty nature of nigerians. I hav been to the SS, SE, SW, and NC and i can tell u they are all dirty even Abuja. i giv kudos to some states though, especially Uyo, Calabar, Enugu and Oweri. Believe me SW states have alot to do when it comes to environmental planing and sanitation. Akure dat was once a pride to d SW in sanitation is now degraded into a pigry. Ekiti, Osun and IB are jst ......dont know what to say. And Lagos main land?........... Benin, Onitsha, Asaba, Aba, yenegoa, PH, and Warri really hav alot to do. Lokoja, kabba, and all those outskirts of Abuja are jst shitty. And I beleive most towns in the core north will b as bad tooo. Generally, i think most nigerians do not strive enough to keep their environment clean and lack taste in environmental planing |
Prof. Umar Labdo Muhammad of the Faculty of Humanities, Northwest University, Kano claims that Benue State belongs to the Fulani by right of conquest. Read below: Benue State belongs to the Fulani people by right of conquest. This is because half of the state is part of the Bauchi Emirate and the other half is part of the Adamawa Emirate. Benue is therefore part and parcel of the Sokoto Caliphate. So no one has the right to expel the Fulani from Benue under any guise. Second to the Arabs, perhaps the Fulani are the most benevolent and merciful conquerors in history. If they had applied the Nazi final solution to the natives, or if they had treated them the same way the European settlers treated Red Indians in North America or the Aborigines in Australia, the story would have been different today. https://www.lindaikejisblog.com/2018/1/benue-state-belongs-to-the-fulani-by-right-of-conquest-prof-labdo-muhammad.html

@Opp......this ur topic don cast jo.......woke up dis early morning jst to cause wahala.....ko rederede e danu jo. |
iloveyou55:Are nt in Nigeria or ar u blind to what is going on? all of buhari's body language indicates he is a sectional leader. from the annual national budget to his appointments to his speeches ( 5% stuff) to his anti corruption crusade et al. Obviously d fulani herdsmen issue is a threat to national security as boko haram and Ipob. why treat them with leniency? |
This is the right definition of buharis administration. ......nepotism and tribalism are his administration blueprint |
Thanks @opp. I am always in dilemma coz of this issue. on my certificate, my name arrangement is first name, middle nam, then surname name respectively- which i believe should b d norm. I attended an human resource seminar, which i asked the question. the woman said it should b in the respective format of surname, middle name and first name. so i do follow this trend and also, i believe its more common in our society. moreover, most of the HR are not even aware of the official format. And also, i beleive these arrangements are dependent on countries. The Brits follow ur assertion while i think the americans varry. |
in my mother's voice............'Apa lomo yi oooooo...o ti e mo iyi owo at all' |
what a wonderful and an insightful thread especially to the degree doesn't matter peeps. And i believe that if u look closely, most of them had good grades in school. Few of them who dropped out of school already has a promising business of which their academics will restrict them from concentrating fully to the business. This is y i shake my head most times i see nigerian students who ar yet to sell their first 'guguru and epa' and with no idea whatsoever belittling the importance of university education. The fact is universities are very important to human development. Universities and academic institutions are the only places where students are subjected to daily cognitive activities which inturn stimulates their mental and reasoning development. That is why a business grown by an educated person is likely to be more successful than that of an uneducated person. although dis is not always the case but its certain in very 99% of businesses |
tesppidd:Are u telling me that everybody in 9ja is aware that Don wanney or whatever is a criminal who died in a particular place. I, that i am talking to u do not know d specific place this incident happened. I can travel to dat local gov. area tomorrow and pass d night there if it were an hotel. moreover that is an example of what can be done with d house excluding d demolition of the building. It can b converted to a clinic (as cstr1001 said,. PHCC, library, police or military base etc but not demolition |
smalls001:preservation of these type of buildings has also been upheld by some countries e.g the popular gangster Alcapones mansion . Some properties of criminals had been turned into museum and recreational centers e.g pablo escobrs popular mansion. Although i do not disagree with u entirely coz many Nigerians believe in superstitions and other things like that. Also about the place being a possible motivation negatively for his followers. Mind u place if preserved will also send positive message(s) to his followers about what do happen most times to criminals. I also said thr place can b converted into police or military base since the area is prone to criminal activities |
This is one of the stupid actions the government of this country take most times that has left us in this pathetic state. No reasonable idea whatsoever-even the professors and doctors among them. i dont know mayb stupidity and foolish is a required criteria to holding an important post in this country. Why should the property be destroyed? there are many other reasonable options like selling, converting d property into recreational center, office, police or military base-since the environment is incessant or prone to criminal activities, lease it out etc. Baba God, i am still hopeful of this country oooo. although the hope is thinner than a strand of my hair. if you did not do something this year, baba i go trek to Libya oooooooooooo |
This shittu man is the most foolish person to ever hailed from the SW. It was during his senate confirmation hearing that i knew this man is a baboon with shit to offer. Nigerians should beg Buhari to contest! what an insult. this goes to show this empty baron was appointed minister just to compensate him for his thuggery exhibited during the presidential election for buhari. Buhari that has done nothing but to regress d nations economy and the peoples standard of living. |
Benue people, defend yourselves. .......my £50 biko |
#PMB we can also be terrorist.....abeg dont bcom terrorists oooo, our hands are full with boko haram and fulani herdsmen already. To mr president permit me to doubt your character as a just and as an un-hypocritical individual who is focused on safeguarding the lives and properties of non hausas in the country. Recently, a billion dollar was withdrawn to tackle the menace of boko haram still rampaging the country and you told the international aid community and world bank to focus their attention on north east. These actions of urs were put under the microscope by some and some gave you a thumbs up all in the spirit of nationalism. Not long ago, the anger of the Nigeria Army descended on the people and community of IPOB, destroying their properties and robbing them of their precious lives all on national security and protecting the unity of the country. But the irony was, when u were engaging in all these, there was a particular hurricane rampaging through other geopolitical zones of the country most notably the middle belt (Benue state), SE(Enugun), SS(Delta and Bayelsa states) and SW (Ekiti state). This has made a lot of us to think that maybe if we were Hausas, Mr president would have pulled all the necessary strings to make sure the storm of fulani herdsmen would have seized by now as he is trying to do with security challenges in the north. Most of us are starting to believe that Mr president is deliberately playing ping pong with the lives and properties of other ethnic groups because the perpetrators of these evils are the fulanis from which Mr president sprung from. I am starting to believe that Mr president care for no one but the north. The most alarming and annoying of it all is that Mr president has refused to acknowledge the existence of these violent people even when state legislators are passing laws to inhibit the activities of the Fulani heardsmen in their states. Is it that Mr president is not aware of the incessant atrocities perpetrated by the children of the devil?! or is he their chief sponsor- because this is d only logical explanation to me To my Benue ppl, pls if the country cannot protect u, protect urselves. survival and shelter are the two fundamental needa of humans. if a group of animals is trying to take that frm you do the necessary to keep urselves frm them |

is it Obasanjo's museum or a digital library coz i am not seeing any book ooooooooo........abi d books dey d oda room ni? |
First they said subsidy was a scam.....a means the then government iinvented to siphon our money. Then we voted for them. They then told us that subsidy exists......and that it gulp a chunk amount from our annual national budget....that the only solution is total removal which will lead to increase in pump price we agreed with them Then they came back telling us that fuel subsidy still exist. That is has increased to #20 and now to #40.70 who is deceiving who. Fuel subsidy nw increased when its already 2018 and 2019 is knocking at the door. #myMUMUdondo #IamTiredofBuhari |
That is germany.......this is Nigeria In Germany........Sanity is available In Nigeria. .......... Insanity dominates Notwithstanding, u can start by parking ur own car @Suleja. If it's still there d next day, then i may consider joining u. |
Nigeria econony has always been vulnerable and will always remain so as long we refuse to diversify. an economy based almost entirely on oil. It is boldly written on the skies that the value and relevance of oil will continue to decline as there are improvements in other cheaper and eco-friendly energy sources. for some of us who dont know, Africa has d highest number of active youths in the world (ages 18-45) with Nigeria a major addition to that stats. so it baffles me that our govt cant take positive advantageof this only to use them as thugs and tools for societal- unrest. |
hw can one open a whole thread jst to ask about amosuns region? ha! |
@Opp, u mean Israel also voted agaist Jerusalem to b recognised as its capital? i am not understanding oooo |
Ummuihsan:i neva said d country belong only to christians. if u can comprehend very well, i said the NBA rules cut across all religion including Judaism. d same constitution also gives legal institutions power to regulate d dress code of their employees. that is y bankers and finacial personnel are always corporate. same with doctors and physios. police n other force professions are always in uniform. Even in schools, children are in specific uniform while law students are mandated to dress corporate to class. The lady in question attended the mandatory law dinner without hijab. suddenly she refuse to b calld to bar without hijab. d question is what is her motive? also if u ar to do something this big, u must have laid a strong antecedents which will indicate dat u ar devoted to a course. but frm all reliable info, she has neva protested for hijab mayb in schl, or in public for the bankers, police or corporate workers. mind u, if total freedom of expression is permitted, then coming to bar next year can b permitted if one dresses unclad. |
abbasajao:ppl.ar jst trying to make dis a human right stuf. dis is a professional matter. in schls today, law students have a strict dress code of to b in corporate dress when coming to class. in banks and financial institutions today, u ar to dress in a corporate manner if u ar an employee of d institution. likewise in d health sector. if u belong to one force or d other, u ar to b in uniform. this same principle i believe is applicable if u ar to b calld to bar. i am not saying it is right coz i'm indifferent about it. ppl should b appealing to the NBA to change the rule and not supporting erring or breaking of the rules. dis is what i am against. mind u freedom of expression also mean one can come naked next year expecting to b called to bar |
is this man a minister or APC publicity Secretary? abeg make he chose one oooo.he jst dey disgrace him self up n down |
this ppl self. there are rules and regulations guiding an established institution. for now, d rule is if u ar to be called to bar, do not put on any form of vail. mind u no b for only Muslims o. it includes christians, judaist, and traditional worshippers. A reverend sister had to remove her vail b4 she was called to bar. if u like come next yr with ur hijab, na u no go b able to practice. u ar not d first muslim lady to b calld to bar n u wont b d last. i dont know mayb Allah has refused to answer d prayers of previous muslim ladies dat hav been calld to bar or they were chased out of heaven because dey remove their hijab to b calld to bar......dey go jst dey explode small issue. |
DopeBoss:mental derailment |
