Buhari and his team were jokes Erm bros OBAMA doesn't arrive Kenya till tomorrow. Didn't you just create a thread about Buhari not doing research? |

Politics › Re: Biafra Is Just A Symptom; The Disease Is The System! by AZeD1(m): 7:43am On Jul 20, 2015 |
dearpreye: You can attest to the fact the Igbos are the most hardworking, enterprising and smart Nigerians. The evidence on ground doesn't support your statement. I've read so many Biafran threads here on nairaland and all of them state what you have just said and also include the " we don't need oil to survive " mantra but when one does a critical analysis of the south east region, the reality on ground says a different story. The south east has been ruled by "Biafrans" for the last 16 years, they also got the added benefit of sharing from Niger Delta oil but as a group, they have nothing to support their claim that as a country they'll do better than Nigeria. The cry of marginalisation won't stop in Biafra because the problem of Nigeria is the mentality of us Nigerians and creating an artificial boundary does nothing to change the mentality. Check nairaland, you'd see a thread where Anglicans were crying marginalisation in Enugu state because neither the PDP governorship candidate and his deputy are Anglicans. Do you think that would stop with the creation of Biafra? As a people, we have placed sectionalism (for lack of a better word) far above competence and that is the major reason why Nigeria is not working. We would rather have someone from our region/state/local government/village/religion/denomination/street in authority than a competent person. |

Biafra is an utopian dream sold to a persons who are intellectually lazy. Smart people find solutions while the ignorant blames others but himself. |

neocortex: What is good in harassing and blackmailing a Nigerian ? I don't understand why some of you believe Nigeria is a jungle where anything goes.
Mind you, I have got no issue with SSS searching his house but what was wrong is passing a guilty verdict on him based on what they claim was "incriminating" evidence because I never knew SSS to be a justice system on its own.
When does owning bullet proof cars becomes an offense ?
I expect him to be charged ASAP if the SSS's side of story has any credibility in it You have to get clearance before you can use a bullet proof vehicle in Nigeria. I'm not saying Sambo is guilty, but the report says he couldn't show evidence of ownership during interrogation. |

barcanista: Because I have no interest for back and forth argument. Like I said earlier the term "High Calibre" rifle is subjective No it's not subjective. Every country with gun laws defines it. peedeeasobie: How is that treason You should direct that to the DSS. zicoraads: Perhaps you would be so kind to post it here for us to all get some education on the subject. http://www.nigeria-law.org/Firearms%20Act.htm |

zicoraads: Oh please, spare us the mumbo jumbo. The DSS found nothing on Dasuki...zilch. The man had barely left office when they went after him. Perhaps, isn't it possible that he had yet to return all 'official' stuffs in his possession?
And as a retired military officer, and an ex NSA, does the same laws of possession of rifles that applies to civilians also apply to him? Just admit it, the DSS are just clutching at straws. Most of these retired military officers that have served in certain positions that would make them high profile targets for assassinations in Nigeria have these weapons for protection. You need to read up on Nigerian gun laws. |

He said it was state properties, if after a week, he doesn't return them then they should come and collect their cars!
This has nothing to do with TREASON!
We are gradually seeing the making of a DICTATOR! I guess you didn't read the part were the DSS stated that non of those items were in his handover notes. |

This simpleton and his moronic and gullible followers always make me laugh. He is so delusional that he is beginning to believe he is some kind of expert on Nigerian politics with his guguru and epa analysis.
I shat on this thread When you read his articles and then see the people who believe he is making sense, you'd weep for Nigeria. |

This is subject to opinion because what one may classified as high another will classify as low. No, it is not subject to opinion. "calibre" is a standard of measurement. 2. Some exporters (if not all) actually need to also import and service equipment, and raw materials.
3. Pay salaries and other charges/payments for services.
4. Inflation afflicts all. To point number 2, if they get paid in dollars, why don't they import their raw materials rather than repatriate the funds and sell to the banks? |

atlwireles: What makes me sad, is the fact majority of Nigerians don't understand what's going on, in the country. They are sold empty propaganda when the opposite is the case. No you are the one selling propaganda. GEJ was President when crude oil sold for record prices yet he had to borrow to pay salaries before he was booted out. External reserves were at record levels when GEJ took over, yet he somehow found a way to drastically reduce it despite selling crude at record prices. |

Politics › Re: BREAKING: Buhari, Osinbajo Take 50% Pay Cut by AZeD1(m): 8:49pm On Jul 10, 2015 |
Fairgodwin: All these pay cut doesn't affect all their major allowances, I suppose. Just their basic salary, which is not even much in the first place. I want the pay cut to include all their allowances and basic salary, and then I'd be truly glad and see them as 'progressives.' Allowances are calculated based on salaries so if salaries are reduced by 50% percent, it also means all allowances are reduced by 50%. |

Stop dragging this matter. Buhari should stop harassing the opposition with his EFCC! Nyarko is a member of the APC, so i don't know where you got "harassing the opposition" from. I am so sure you are unhappy that Lamido and Nyarko are both from the north because it denied you the opportunity to play the tribal card.
