Politics › Re: Now That Falana Has Put Assunder Gov. Chima's Marriage, Is He Happy? by AZeD1(m): 9:31am On Nov 13, 2013
kokoA: This is a very dumb post! What has Falana got to do with this?! A woman needed help and called on people. She got help. Some Nigerians reason in a very strange manner.
You have to really pity the country called Nigeria. The kind of dumb sh*t people come up with is legendary.

OP if the woman wanted to save her marriage, she would not have called Falana.
Politics › Re: Jonathan Govt Is The “first Internet-age Presidency” Nigeria Ever Had - Abati by AZeD1(m): 1:01am On Nov 13, 2013
He accused some Nigerians of using the freedom online platforms offer to utter “nonsense”, adding that such people hide their identity, tell lies and say things they would not ordinarily say in the open.

Sports › Re: Is Victor Oladipo Nigeria's Next NBA Superstar And The New Hakeem Olajuwon? by AZeD1(m): 9:22am On Nov 12, 2013
shymexx: @Babzilla

Scratch that. I forgot Rockets and Memphis in West. And ATL and Cleveland in the East. The Raptors are also looking good this season. Getting ready for work, hence why I missed out a few teams

Err...my top four stays. However, Rockets, Minnesota and Memphis should make the play-offs in the West. The last spot can go anywhere. But the other four spots in the East can go anywhere.
New York would make some noise in the East. As for the ring, i'm rooting for the Pacers
Sports › Re: Is Victor Oladipo Nigeria's Next NBA Superstar And The New Hakeem Olajuwon? by AZeD1(m): 6:40pm On Nov 11, 2013
Afam4eva: I heard he's very good but hope he doesn't end up like Emeka Okafor who was expected to be one of the best but fell short of those expectations.

The guy sure knows how to sing too. He could make a good musician too.
Size was Emeka undoing. He's a 6'9 centre which is good for college but in the NBA.... Kevin Durant is a 6'9 small forward.

Politics › Re: Why I ‘ll Build An Airport In Abia — Orji by AZeD1(m): 12:27pm On Nov 11, 2013
What is with Nigerians and Airports?
Abia does not need an airport, it needs good roads and better infrastructure.
Travel › Re: Ethiopian Airlines To Begin Flights To Kano by AZeD1(m): 1:35am On Nov 11, 2013
atlwireles: That's correct. There are airlines that fly into multiple cities in the United states too. I am for more landings, restrictions has not done us any good, but keep prices high.
Airlines landing in multiple cities in Nigeria won't guarantee price reduction. In my opinion, i think airline prices are high due to the "high cost of doing business" in the country.
Travel › Re: Ethiopian Airlines To Begin Flights To Kano by AZeD1(m): 1:02am On Nov 11, 2013
atlwireles: They are only picking international passengers. The local airlines should find ways to attract mid-class Nigerians. Flying local in way too high. Imagine Lagos---Warri is N36,000. whyhuh?
Look at it this way,
When Arik air travels to the US, it only lands in New York.
If you try going to Ohio in the US with KLM, Airfrance, Lufthansa, they will drop you in New York and put you on a local airline. This is the same with many other cities in the US.
International airlines should only be allowed two entry points into Nigeria.
Travel › Re: Ethiopian Airlines To Begin Flights To Kano by AZeD1(m): 12:37am On Nov 11, 2013
atlwireles: Why not, they should allow airlines land where they want. The more the better, it will begin to push down airline ticket prices into this country.
If they want to pick passengers from anywhere, they should partner with local airlines. Its that simple
Travel › Re: Ethiopian Airlines To Begin Flights To Kano by AZeD1(m): 12:15am On Nov 11, 2013
While some people see it as good news, this is actually bad for the economy of Nigeria and death sentence for local airlines.

No international airline should be allowed to land and take off from four different airports in the country. They should pick two.

Either you take Lagos and Kano or Abuja and Enugu.
Celebrities › Re: Usman Dantata & Rukky Indimi's Wedding (Pictures) by AZeD1(m): 8:19pm On Nov 10, 2013
dasparrow: You mean you want Genny to join the association of miserable, oppressed, married Nigerian women? What for? Don't you see them in the family section looking for ways to get out of the bondage they have found themselves in and you want beautiful Genny to be part of them? God forbid. Besides, Genny does not need to worry about her biological clock. She already has a biological daughter and she can always adopt a second child if she so desires. After all, pikin na pikin. There are Nigerian married women out there who have not been able to give birth to even 1 biological child. They are still expecting God to bless them with the 'fruit of the womb.' So let Genny be.

Most Nigerian women are miserable in their marriages that is why they are constantly harassing the single Nigerian women to get married because misery they say likes company. A woman who is happily married should not care what other women whether single or marred choose to do with their private lives.

Don't mind them.
They say a gold fish has no hiding place. If you have to repeatedly create articles to promote GEJ, then it means he is not working because if he was, he works would speak for him.

Oh and for some that earns about 40K, what is she going to do with the IOU note because assuming the business fails, there is no way the guy will be able to pay back.
Romance › Re: She Wants Written Proof Before She Lends Her Bf Money(right Or Wrong). by AZeD1(m): 9:32pm On Nov 09, 2013
Donxavier: Thing is the IOU gives you/ her confidence. But it's nothing if the guy is actually the devil in sheeps clothing. If she doubts him she just shouldn't give him. Simple as that. We already assume the bros wont pay, that's why I asked if she knew his parents or people that he listens too that could compel him to pay up incase of default. I agree 5 months is too short for that kind of confidence. She should give him any amount she's comfortable with or forget about it and not loan anything at all.

My whole point is the whole stress of recovering the money in the instance he defaults is too stressful for 400k IOU or No IOU. It's not worth it.
God bless you. If the guy doesn't have the intention of paying back, there is no amount of IOU he signs that will make him pay back.

Ayee Idris: I can't believe all the readers suggesting that it is better to lie and come up with some excuse not to give him the money if the girl doesn't trust him. Abi did I miss the memo where lying in a relationship would also lead to loss of trust. Let's face it. I don't even trust myself all of the time because I am human. Why then would I have complete blind trust in a boyfriend, when he is not infallible. The world don change o. We hear too many stories of girls duping their boyfriends and vice versa. If she gives him the money, he dumps hers and takes off and she comes here with her story, na this same Nairalanders go abuse the babe for not being wise.
There is a fat line between a gift and a loan. If you are giving out a huge sum that you clearly want back, secure yourself jo. No need to do 'had I known' later. And as per the cost of suing him to recover your money, your suit better also ask him to cover all legal and court costs incase of a favourable judgment to avoid me shortchanged.
Will signing a document stop the guy from duping her if that was his intention?
Romance › Re: She Wants Written Proof Before She Lends Her Bf Money(right Or Wrong). by AZeD1(m): 1:42pm On Nov 09, 2013
Subom1: Outside Nigeria legal action can be taken against him. Anyways you are right. The best thing would be not to give him. I cannot lend money to anybody i do not trust.
Thats outside Nigeria.
How can you be in a relationship where you do not trust your partner? For those who said they are not yet married (including Subom1), what is their relationship all about?
Romance › Re: She Wants Written Proof Before She Lends Her Bf Money(right Or Wrong). by AZeD1(m): 1:16pm On Nov 09, 2013
Donxavier: Legal action.....Lwkmd she never jam grin grin. If na correct gold digger, she would spend more than the 400k to recover it back even with all the fake assurances she's requesting for.
I'm finding it hard to fault the guy abeg, if i was the one I would be furious too. How can my gf be demanding collateral from mehuh If I wanted collateral I would have gone to the bank. Maybe the guy shouldn't have asked sef, that was probably his mistake. This one is too huge for their relationship too handle grin grin grin
Its funny how people think the guy signing a paper automatically means the guy is willing to pay back.
Romance › Re: She Wants Written Proof Before She Lends Her Bf Money(right Or Wrong). by AZeD1(m): 12:18am On Nov 09, 2013
If you cannot borrow your bf/gf money even if its 1 million without asking for collateral, then you are in the wrong relationship. As for those saying the guy would not pay back, you are thinking like that because if it were you, you will not pay back.

noblezone: "shoot every thing at sight"!
Does that ring any bell?

Right to sovereignty?
No na! Nobody has any "right" to any sovereignty.

The champions of "one" Nigeria must also champion "one" Britain!

If the Biafrans do not have any right to sovereignty, why would the Scots have it?

Anyway, the British goverment must answer the for the role they played in Biafra. The tempo is building up.
Scotland is already a country on its own while Biafra exists only in the minds of some people.

Politics › Re: Lekki International Airport by AZeD1(m): 2:52pm On Nov 04, 2013
1MCN: If this is not just a sensational white elephant project then I'd say it's a very good and lofty idea. I've even advocated for private airport and heliport facilities to be allowed in Nigeria just like in other advanced economies. I think if this project comes to fruition it'll really drive competition and good service delivery and will leave users with options to choose from.
But wait, if LASG is planning to build an Int'l Airport why then was Capt Dele saying that making Enugu an Int'l airpot will negatively affect domestic airservice in Nigeria? Or is this one that's just a few meters from MMA not going to affect domestic airservice again? I think sometimes we make our sentiments a little too obvious in this country.
Capt Dele did not say making Enugu an international airpot will negatively affect domestic carriers, he said giving Ethiopian airways 3 landing slots would kill domestic carriers.
Politics › Re: The Way GEJ Is Fighting Corruption Is Best. by AZeD1(m):
This has to rank as one of the worst write ups in the history of mankind.

OP you have know idea what you are talking about

1) Fuel subsidy scam started when GEJ became acting president
2) Adenike Grange was the Minister of health who was forced to resign because of a 'scandal'. There was no foi bill then but the whole world knew. You also heard of Etehgate without foi bill so saying the Stella scandal blew because of the foi bill is mischievous and silly.
3) The Ribadu report is gathering dust somewhere so what the hell are you taking about?
