Insincere Nigerian I am terribly disappointed in you. After all your bashing and accusation of sahara reporters as an organisation full of lies you still had the guts to post an article by them...geez |
Please How is covering one eye now an illuminati gesture? Una no go kill person for 9ja. |
taharqa: @Otokx, with all due respect, you are looking increasingly STU.PID in yr blind urge at criticism...... The Ministry of Information Tech ought to be closd down, right?Yes the ministry of information tech has to be closed down along with so many irrelevant ministries HNosegbe: Kindly educate the house on what the Ministry of ICT should be doing then.We don't need a ministry of ICT. Its part of the reason Nigeria has large recurrent expenditure. |
Lol at christian faith |
Godogwu: If for some reason i believed this report for one sec, I'll like to know what countries like Cuba, Barbados, Iraq, Iran, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Thaliand amognst many others produce or develop that makes them "non-lagging" science countries .Including Iran in that list means you are actually ignorant about what science and engineering. As for Rossik, dude pls get a life.. Innoson, Zinox You should know there is a difference between science, manufacturing and assembling. |
Sincere 9gerian: You'r myopic and naive for trying to discountenance the influence of partisan politics. In 2007 El Rufai was in PDP so if according to you, he was telling the truth then, it means he is also telling the truth now. |
wesley80: ^ Privatization seems to be the way forward for Nigeria but I'll hesitate to tag it the "panacea" for our industrial problems. Its not the total cure but it will help in curing some of the illness currently plaguing the country. One question though, why are we exporting steel for now? Have we met our local needs? Hope it doesn't turn out to be like the petroleum sector where we export crude and import fuel. |
[quote author=@kenyattaMoore]Op you should try and talk with her. What does she not get in the mariage that she had go looking for it outside? May God help you take a wise decision no matter what happens.[/quote]I believe the story is false but if it is in anyway true, What does the bolded mean? As in talk about what? |
True2myself24: It's not a matter of chasing guys around campus. Its about being opened minded. My older sister is 28 and is doing her medical residency at a very prestigious medical school. When she was in college and working on her medical degree she had many suitors come her way. She ignored many of them, some of which were very nice, and her excuse was that she wasnt ready for a relationship. But now many of those guys have gotten older and are between the ages of 28-33 and are married or engaged to much younger women in their mid twenties. Now I love my sister and want to her to be happy but even now she is still saying she's not ready for a relationship because she's focusing on her career. By the time she's done with residency she'll be 30, and might settle for a much older guy who still cant find a wife. There's no formula for how to live your life but being open minded can take you far.Suitors that came for your sister are either married or engaged and you say your sister should have an open mind. Can't you respect her wish i.e she is not ready? Assuming the married ones had proposed to your sister what should she have done? |
PapaBrowne: Yep! Considering that storing, processing and transporting produce do currently exist albeit inefficiently, my belief is that improving on these areas even minimally has the potential to to earn investors huge returns even in the face of decrepit infrastructure. Simple things like changing packing cases can save tonnes in potentially wasted produce. Ever wondered why we still transport tomatoes in woven baskets when Cartons are more efficient and much cheaper? 70% is usually wasted across the chain because of design factors. Truth is many areas have been left to the illiterate mind and that has stunted the growth of our better industries. Its time for creative thinkers to leave the oil industry alone and focus on creating solutions in sectors such as these that would give us enormous advantage. The structure of the country is such that it doesn't encourage creative thinking. |
taharqa: My take on dis discuss is pretty simple and fairly straight forward: Continually improve INFRASTRUCTURE- both Physical (Power, Roads, Airports, Bridges, Ports, Gas pipelines, Broadband, etc) and nonPhysical (Elections, Political Stability, Security, Policy Consistency, Bureaucracy, Legal, Regulatory Environment, etc)- and Africa, esp Nigeria, wud BEGIN a truly Economic Turnaround, and wud do so in a SUSTAINABLE way. SIMPLE..... INFRASTRUCTURE (Basics) is d KEY, not all these too much grammar.... May I also add that it is a JOURNEY, albeit a Focused and Preditable one; it alway is and always has beenInfrastructure might be key but i don't think its the basic. We need to free our minds. Before we can have and industrial revolution or any kind of revolution that would help Africans in general, we have to free the mind to be able to think Objectively. Unfortunately as debates go on Nairaland, you would see that the average Nigerian has a closed mind. Kasutomoto.... You hit the nail on the head. Papebrowne..... You are an oldie in Nairaland so you should know that knowledge revolution is kind of unlikely in Nigeria as things stand today. |

On a side note i'm happy this thread has not turned into a us versus them competition. If Nigeria gets better we all enjoy it. It doesn't matter whether you support GEJ or APC or are just a general pessimist. Nice one by the governor but i think we can only really celebrate this if it was done at a moderate cost. No point celebrating a bridge when "people" loot more than the actual cost all in the name of development. So until we know the true cost, ride on mr Governor. |

Would love to help you guys test but i use an android phone. If the android app ever comes out, i'll will test it. Nice though especially the Whot app. (If i ever get around to learn Jquery, Whot will/would have been my 1st project). |
This is not a java problem but a search problem. You should query the database using the (IN) keyword. SELECT * FROM [tablename] WHERE [columnname] IN [keywords] |

As an Arsenal fan and a Wenger hater, financially this will be a good move for the guy, professionally it will be terrible. Wenger is an olodo when it comes to defence. |

Billyonaire: No, they will not come to the South. We will close the Border and they will need a VISA, we can no more put up with suicidal politicians who believes only Islam can be religion of Nigeria and only they can rule. This truth is bitter.Yeah its that easy, we just disintegrate, build fence round the south and everything will be well. |
cyril83: Thank God reasonable Nigerians are beginning to accept the fact that Nigeria cannot stand as one.Why do you think disintegration will solve anything? If Nigeria disintegrates, does it stop them from moving down south? Does it stop another group from rising in the south? Boko Haram started right from the time of Yar'Adua presidency so its not a "born to rule" mentality problem. |
Dude you should have asked this question before doing the do |
