Until Nigeria accepts independent candidates, all aspirants need foot soldiers in their party.

There are two different roles.

The Minister is responsible for fiscal policy while the CBN Governor is responsible for monetary policy.

In lay man's language, the Minister is the banker/ accounts manager for the Federal government so her work is to use the FG's money to influence the economy.

The CBN governors work on the other hand is to control economy via the setting of interest rate, exchange rate and the likes.

The Minister is usually a politician while the CBN Governor should ideally be an economist.

Rather than spend money floating a new National Carrier, the minster should be looking for investors for this private airlines.

Please Sir I beg to differ. While good infrastructure can catalyze economic growth, it doesn't create it. Training, people, and money (empowerment) can generate the funds we need to even fund infrastructure. Before the roads and light n rails came, people trained and traded and from those monies, they were able to get themselves niceties, and equip themselves with better infrastructure for bountiful trade. I think if we train and empower people, we can get monies via trade and taxation to develop our infrastructure.
