eyeview: Not a fan of Nnamdi Kanu but am baffled when new generation indomie kids and some yoruba miscreants will be shouting that Asaba, delta and most parts of Niger delta where never part of biafra. This ex biafran air commandant is from asaba. Calabar that was the fct wasn't in igboland. Asaba was in the Mid Western region. Biafra was the Eastern region. That people from Asaba fought on the side of Biafra doesn't mean Asaba was a part of Biafra. After all Col Banjo fought on the side of Biafra and he was a Yoruba man. |

Mcowubaba: What are you even talking about. Does the Government only sponsor Christian pilgrimage . Muslim pilgrimage no dey follow
Even the sponsorship of pilgrimage has stopped, government only provides cheaper dollars for those going. As far as CAN agrees to subsidising religion, they should go and sit down. The moment CAN comes out to say Nigeria is a secular state, they should denounce every government participation in religion. |
Christianity Etc › Re: CAN Protests Nigerian Participation In Islamic Sports by AZeD1(m): 3:14pm On May 12, 2017 |
Mcowubaba: Nigeria being a member of the OIC is also not right. The question is why didn't CAN fight GEJ to remove Nigeria from the OIC? Its issues like this that make CAN look like a branch of the PDP. PS: The government also sponsors Pilgrimage but because CAN and its members enjoy from the funds spent on Pilgrimage, they usually don't remember Nigeria is a secular nation. |
Christianity Etc › Re: CAN Protests Nigerian Participation In Islamic Sports by AZeD1(m): 2:25pm On May 12, 2017 |
Mcowubaba: You don't get it. The sporting Event Is strictly for Muslim Countries. And Nigeria is not a Muslim country, hence the opposition from CAN.
It's not about who is organizing the Sports, it's about the requirements for qualifying to be among the Contestants in the Sporting Event.
The requirements includes being a Muslim Country etc, can you see where the problem is?
If there is a sports and the requirements for qualifying for it requires a Country to be a Christian Country (and Nigeria is participating) , then the Muslims can also protest.
Can you kindly name a Sporting Event that was meant for only Christian/Atheist Countries and Nigeria participated Name 1? Kindly educate me Nigeria is a member of the OIC.... There are so many issues for CAN to deal with than a sporting fiesta somewhere in the world. |

toyetade: Have you heard the other side of the story. London Police are biased against blacks and don't do enough investigation. Did you know what the couple went through to take her to theUK. How did the police conclude they pay her 20pounds a month if there is no record. No bank account. There is no other side to the story. The minimum wage in the UK is £6.70/hr , anything under that is putting yourself in trouble. The woman would definitely not have a work permit, so the fact that she was employed as a baby sitter is an offence. Also I'm pretty sure the woman was smuggled into the UK or brought on a visiting Visa which is another offence. Please go and read the UK employment laws very well. As for the guy saying there's the other side of the story, anything you can't tender in a law court is null and void. |

newbornmacho: If this man , who used to have my admiration years ago, has any iota of decency he would either be marching in the streets calling for the resignation or impeachment of president Buhari , or he would retire from any form of work that involves instructing people. For someone who saw everything evil , rightly, in a cabal hijacking government from Yaradua , who harassed the meek Jonathan, etc to sit on his hands now because his friend is involved is a very rare type of hypocrisy- the type that brings tears to the eyes of observers. Every remaining vestige of integrity is being stripped off this man. Tunde Bakare has done his part. The question is what have you done? Does Tunde Bakare have 2 heads? If Tunde Bakare decides to lead a protest, people like you would say he doing it because the next person in line is a Yoruba person. So can you tell us what you did about the Yar'Adua situation and what you are doing about the Buhari situation? |

This part here is part of the reason why Nigeria and Africa is still backward, always blame other people for our problems. Can you point out one Government in Nigeria that didn't have an Igbo person in it? Can you point one tribe in Nigeria that doesn't claim it's marginalised? Till this moment, the transcript has not been sent. We just wasted 50k on that crappy school.
If you're using IQAS though, you need the transcript. Sorry, I don't have a contact. I applied for transcript from OOU isnce June last year, till today i don't think that transcript has been processed. I mailed WES and told them to use my MSC only for the ECA. |

Thanks in advance It would be tricky because people who claim self employed have to show CIC documents. If you have a registered company, then you can use it but remember the company has to have been in existence for the number of years you are claiming. |

Hello, your response to NYSC experience relates to my wife's case.
I would like to know how would one be able to proof payment/salary during NYSC (as i read somewhere that it should be paid work/job if it must be used).
(1.) NYSC pays monthly though (i don't know if this account can be used) and hope this will not clearly show that it was NYSC/goverment paid allowances? This is putting into consideration that the company worked for during the NYSC period didnt pay any salary.
What do you advice in this case?
I intend to be the one to show the POF (which will be in my account).
Please advice on this, thank you very much. If your wife is not claiming any point for the Nysc experience, then take it out. |

Ehrnie: Can someone please help answer this my 'out of the box' questions -
(1) Under normal circumstances (i.e. all documents submitted accurately and correctly), what's the maximum processing time for the PR application? I mean the time from AOR to PR issued...?
(2) When IRCC request for passport, how long do they hold on to it for...weeks / months?
Many thanks! 1) Official answer = We expect to process most applications for permanent residence through the Express Entry system in six months or less, after we get a complete application. UnOfficial answer = It varies, but my guess is 4 months. |
