shymexx: Who lives in a public assistance housing?? I doubt you can afford to live where I live, to be honest... Some of you just run your mouth on the internet just because the internet allows anonymity and crassness!! Don't even go there because I'll disgrace you when I start posting pictures - and I'll dare you to do the same... The car I drive will probably your wages for 2 years(that's if you have got a job, by the way) - and I'm self-made!!I know that dude....Always making comparisms of Nigeria and USA. Very unintelligent for doing that. Its almost as if he thinks both countries are on the same page. In a country where people are used to seeing pot-holed filled roads and dirt tracks, they'll definitely get excited seeing tarred roads but d fool can't process that info. A fool in Africa will remain one in the USA. The environment in Sokoto is not world-class or the best but at least they've started making an attempt to improve things. Progress might be slow but give it time and who knows where they'll end up. He reasons like he uses Crayola....that's even if he knows what it means. |
The old mama that moulded Banky W's head when he was a baby no try at all. |
patrikobi: T.A na babaThese are the type of Nigerians that sell their Children's future and theirs for peanuts. @OP. Don't let me wish a violent death on you b'cos its people like you that are exactly what's wrong with Nigeria and the black race. This country can't move ahead unless people like this change their ways or die out. |
@OP. Don't you think asking the Federal Government questions on what happens to the monies generated in this country and borrowed will be a better place to start your search, rather than asking what Lagos state does with 300million Naira. That's almost Jonathan's Monthly feeding allowance in question there. |
@OP How can you wish PDP on anyone?? Even your enemy LP would be a better option....., I would have said APGA but some people won't let us hear word again if that happens. |
This same *Afam4eva*(BIGot) that still refered to my post as *Idiotic* today. How does it feel being this disliked on Nairaland?? I'm sure your real life boss would fire you if he found out you we're the same person on Nairaland. I would if i was. Congratulations Notorious B*I*G*ot.. |
See dis Orobo toh badt!!! .....Lepa toh badt..!!!....they mouths aint sealed shut....they should look 4 somthing to eat. |
I'm a very Slim guy but i just don't care what people think anymore. I can strip myself naked and do cartwheels round d beach.....provided a potential client isn't around. I really don't give a rats butt bout people watchin me . We even need a Nudee Beach in Nigeria, its about time. |
I recognize this method of solving a problem. For example, It is realized that a particular person is always stealing in a shop, put that person in charge of security of the shop so he has no choice but to become responsible. Just like President Jonathan is using ex-militants to guard oil installations and pipelines now. I just hope it makes him wiser now. |
Billyonaire: I am surprise that none of the people here have OBE. I am indeed privileged to experience existences outside the usual 3D physical life. For many, I think its only in near death and in death they will know the real truth about life. Our physical life is very archaic compared to the advanced existences on the other dimensions.I'm not too sure it was what i experienced but I'm sure it wasn't a dream. I was seriously ill that period and it seemed i floated down stairs at night to carry out conversations with unknown people in the dark. It felt so vivid but the door leading downstairs is always locked when everyone goes to bed so that ruled out sleepwalking for me. I don't normally talk about it b'cos i still can't explain what happened. |
Albert Einstein did an experiment that proved that there is a parallel universe that existed alongside this present one we're in....Where a pin point light was deflected by unseen objects. He proposed that its possible to be in the same location without being visible, like existing in another dimension. |
We had Religions of fear. Sango, Oya, Sopana (How can u worship Chicken pox?? I mean how daft). We Worshiped what we couldn't understand. Rather than cut a tree and turn it into tools, tables nd chairs, we would tie a piece of cloth on it and worship it, when confronted with d ocean, rather than build boats to explore it, we would worship it.....Whites decided to explore the world and discovered us in our state, took advantage of it and here we are today. We still Worship "Money" today (We praise sing any rich person without first questioning the wealth's source). |
@Bilms appears to me as someone that does a lot of talking and no action. With the way he's being posting and condemning, he just wants attention and aint fighting for anything. |
afam4eva: This is the kind of idiotic post that annoys me. Are you saying people were not moving to Lagos in their large numbers before Fashola came to power?I mean "big time investors" not small scale Igbo traders dragging their families along and Hausa men hoping to ride Okada (The type he's trying to discourage their migration into Lagos). People willing to "stake big" in order to "reap big". Learn to think *BIG*,bigot. |
If anyone feels the white man hasn't contributed anything worthwhile to Africa, the might as well move out of the cities and go back to small scale farming, drop their smartphones and pick up their gongs, drop their automobiles and start walkin round, forget about 3D TV and go back to moonlight games, the list is endless. Our problems have and always remain "Ourselves". The whiteman never forcefully captured us for slavery but we were sold by our fellow Africans to them. Slave trade was the highest income earner at a time in Africa and Africans that benefited from it actually fought against its abolishion. |
Anyone that feels so strongly on how people feel about walking around butt naeked might as well strip and do the same. Just remember to dress how u wish to be adressed. |
"Lagos isn't working" yet investors pour in everyday....I guess they've gotten caught up in the "Fashola propaganda". Why aren't they flocking to Akwa-Ibom?? While u Sit there and critcize, Lagos is moving ahead and leaving Nigeria behind. |
I'm praying for a break-up of this country....or at least reverting back to regionalism so that in the end we can see the region that's "truely" progressive. Western Region....Fashola as leader, if this is realized, the west will come out tops. |
Next time they won't disobey traffic laws. Some Nigerians will never change unless treated like animals. I can bet they form the 3rd and 4th lines due to their impatience and the law enforcers just look on. |
I'm not rich but i don't see myself as poor. I will definitely purchase property there. #GBAM!!!# |
@ Op. The whole Naija don wise finish....Na only u remain now. |
@Op. C'mon, post pics naa....., or else your motives will backfire in your face. I'm waiting ooo. |
Hmmm....Black knuckles, eyes wey dey chook....Beautiful!!! |
Speaking of infrastructure, anyone see the new lekki bridge? Looks really nice.
Yeah, I drove past that area yesterday and it looks very nice. A lot bigger than it looks in pics. |
FXKing2012: Most of the folks in here dont know wat democracy really is but I dont blame them thiugh. Fashola's policies are too elitist. We've never experienced democracy before in this country. But Fashola started the trend of performance based Governance that other Governors are now adopting. He's shown a sign that he has a direction and people are encouraging him,who would you rather have and what are their track records?? He's got his Flaws but he's better than a large percentage of leaders we have. |
FXKing2012: Most of the folks in here dont know wat democracy really is but I dont blame them thiugh. Fashola's policies are too elitist. He re-invigourated waste disposal and now, there are a lot of waste-disposal companies employing *the poor*,he's building housing estates and who are the labourers,carpenters,iron-benders etc?? *the poor*, there are street sweepers and who are they?? *the poor*,the gardens he planted need maintainance and who carries it out?? *the poor* He widens an existing road, complete with concrete drainage and guess whose property's value shoots up??...etc This is just a bit of what he's doin and how it affects *the poor*. There was a time u would see okadas carrying fresh carcass of cows nd such drippin blood but he introduced airconditioned meat vans, not to talk of Oshodi and other rowdy areas he's been able to sanitize,street-lights,road and street signs..........Pls, I don't want to ever go back to Pre-Fashola Lagos because i know what it was like. I'v lived here all my life so if u have no direct experience of it......just zip it. |
Honestly though, I think you have to applaud Fash for everything he has done besides the toll gate. You never toll existing roads, you just don't do it. You build new fresh ALTERNATE roads and you toll those, simple.
I don't think u know d former state of that road. The road was a dillapidated,pot-hole filled, 2 lane road, but he widened it, added sidewalks, round-abouts and markers...in short, he modernized it...and tolled it b'cos if he decided to wait for Federal Government, he might wait forever. |
Liverpool never walks alone....they are always surrounded by fellow middle/bottom table dwellers. |
Na wa ooo....Chelsea players sip Chelsea dry gin b4 match start ![]() |
Its simple.....Fashola tickles Dangote's balls, Dangote smiles and aknowledges him, Fashola smiles knowing he has opened a door for future acess to Dangote. |
