The same God who ordained marriage in Genesis 2 vs 15-16 cursed marriage in Genesis 3 vs 16 . Going on and on about God ordaining marriage back in the beginning is akin to pretending that since God created man good, all that is man remains good to this day even after God cursed all of man in Genesis 3 vs 16-24. God cursed it all making it all of the world of men. So, I see no reason why anyone should drag the mention of God into a conversation regarding how man handles himself in marriage.

Gays exist because of God's curse in Genesis 3 vs 16 - 24. So, I see no reason why you pretend yourself better than them when you are equally a result of the same curse of God. That the impact of the curse on you did not turn you gay does not mean in anyway that you are better than them or deserve more of that curse union than they do.

What I mean here, as a contract, the couple will agree on a specific years they wish to be married let's say ten years and after the time have elapsed, they might decide to renew or terminate. This way it will reduce the trauma and emotional disorder that comes with divorce.

You are making a big mistake - eventually you will realize it.

1. The Bible did not explicitly say thou shalt not have a girlfriend. Gf = concubine and this is found in the Bible.
2. Society has changed sinc the bible was written. there is no more crucifixion what we have now is firing squad and hanging. there is no more slavery. in the same way the role of a husband is diminished and non existent in modern society. the sexual benefit that should go to husbands go to gfs and husbands only get left overs and ageing women - hence the proliferation in side chicks in modern times.

Id say leave bible out of it for now and focus on reason logic and common sense.

Few moments ago, I witnessed someone collapsed on the street and 911 was called while on the phone they were telling the caller how to position his body and do CPR while doing cpr fire service came with their medical team and began resuscitation, less than 5 mins later emergency medical service came in. It was my first time witnessing such, what I did was to count the number of paramedics on ground for one person. I counted 7. They had mini versions of a number of medical equipment I don't know which they used to resuscitate him, while they were prepping to put him into the ambulance police arrived to ask some questions.

This was just someone walking on the street. If this happens in Nigeria, that fellow is gone, not only do we have no one to call for emergency medical services, but the fact that all fellow Nigerians will do is to gather round, block fresh air, shout eyah, video you in your dying moments and maybe pray that God accepts you into paradise.

Here, I see people moving and driving with mobile oxygen with hose connected to their noses and still functioning. I've met someone walking with colostrum bags and functioning well, and smoking his crystal meth. The fact that he cant pass shit normally wont even kill him, rather its OD from his crystal meth that'(( kill him. Meanwhile, my mother inlaw almost died of intestinal obstruction.

The fact that life is valued and precious here supercedes all these facts which if I even want to tackle, I'll tackle all.
Your money will not save you when medical emergencies happen and you're told there's either no doc available, or no equipment/outdated equipment, or no power.
Talking about easy to become millionaire, I met a Nigerian real estate Millionaire here in Canada. There are others. Truth is in these societies, you really don't have to be a Millionaire to enjoy the good things of life. I arrived Canada last year, I'm not a Millionaire but I already have carribean boat cruise and vacation to Cacun next year. Racism? Forget that, we have our version in Nigeria in different dimensions.
If you want to stay back in Nigeria, by all means, if you have the means to japa, do it the right way. I even feel coming in as a student is a waste of money, though I realize that's the only option for some, just ensure whichever process you use is legit.

You are missing the point. I'm sure there are some decent and ethical Nigerians but they are very few. The fact is that the majority of Nigerians will steal if given the opportunity especially if they think that they can get away with it. Most are stealing even though they know that there's a very good chance of getting caught.
No society is 100 percent corrupt or ethical but you need a vast majority of your people to be ethical to have the kind of institutions like police to be good. If the vast majority are corrupt then you cannot have a good police force and other institutions. It's not the top people that make your society run smoothly, it's the everyday police officer, civil servant, immigration officer, court clerk, petrol attendant, Nurse in the hospital, the Doctors at public hospitals, etc. If these are not ethical and are corrupt, you can have all the laws you want, but it will still be a messed up system. That's just the reality of life.
Compare the average Scandinavian to the average Nigerian or African. And most Scandinavians are not rich by the way but they are usually satisfied with what they have.

On Wednesday 6th of December, I was driving my family from Ondo to Akure to launch a new business.

We plan to start the event at 12 and it was already past 11am so I was rushing. Along Akure road, I saw this three police convoy going in front but they were not very fast.

I have a really fast car so I was like, I should overtake them and be on my way, I flashed the last pickup with about 3 policemen at the back but they didn't make any reaction and didn't gesture for me to go.

The road ahead of us was long and free, no incoming vehicles so I saw it as an opportunity.

After flashing twice again and no response, I decided to overtake all three pickup vehicles quickly so I switched to sport mode and decided to use my pedal shifter to go faster.

As soon as I revved and started overtaking them, they went crazy and started driving zig-zag on the road leaving me absolutely no room to go.

At the end they ran me into the nearly bush and parked me off. One of them decided to use their vehicles to intentionally brush my car while parking me off the road. They all came down, almost 20 of them and started shooting in the air.

They started shouting come down from this car! Hitting my car everywhere with fist and hitting my glass with the tail of their guns. Somehow my window didn't break even after they hit them 5 or 6 times. (Respect to Acura on that)

One of them pointed his gun at my vehicle and was about to shoot. I roll down my glass and started begging them.

My wife was sitting in front with me and my 2 year old daughter was sitting at the back in the hand of a friend we took along with us to act as MC for the occasion.

My wife quickly collected my daughter from the guy and held her to her chest cos she was already panicking and crying.

I think that was what saved our live cos as soon as they saw my daughter, somehow they calm down a little and started trying to drag me out of the car.

I vehemently refused to go down cos I know I will be beaten or even shot. After a few minutes of acting upset, shooting in the air, one of them that was fat and looks like their leader came down from the middle van.

That was the first time I noticed that the middle van was actually covered at the back which means they may be carrying something. They didn't use a bullion van so there was no indication that they were moving money and they didn't use siren either.

Long story short, the big guy that looked like the boss came to me and said why did I overtake them.

I explained that we were in a hurry and I flashed a few times before I attempted to overtake them and I also saw that the road was clear.

He looked at me, looked at my wife, looked at my crying daughter and looked at the guy at the back then asked me to come down that nothing will happen to me, I took my company's ID card and my guy at the back and I came down.

He checked the ID and said don't do that again. The others were shouting he must follow us to the station bla bla bla but he was calm.

Eventually they let us go.

They damaged the bumper of my vehicle in the process.

I know I was in the wrong by overtaking them without anyone gesturing that I can go but seriously, WHAT IS THE RULE TO THAT?
Especially on highway, with a wider road and not within the city.

I had to apologise to my family later cos I know it was a traumatic experience for them and I accepted my fault but I'm still confused on how I was wrong. The road was straight, long, clear of incoming vehicles and I flashed and horned.

Are we expected to follow convoy from wherever we see them to where ever they are going even if they are driving at 80km per hr?
