wanaj0:infact i think that 80% of the 2bn has already been allocated even before yesterday. We are scrambling for the remaining 20%. that is how good it is. how they priced it so cheap at N2.50 beats me. i am looking at the latest X5 as i post |
I was told that the letter of IV thingy is bulls, basically if you know someone (not receptionist, not even officer) just hurry. the door is 99 closed. the remaining 1% is just for a select few. Not people with 10M, if you havenet got serious money just forget it. i hear crazy amounts. (For once, I am getting my news from people in the know). This is the one. this one no be moi-moi |
@ If your contacts no solid 4 inside the 4 issuing houses, forget am, don't let any broker use your money do business only to return it in 3 months time (inside info) After CHAMS, any PP wey UBA global market be the lead issiung house, people must through me Anyway, if u have 5M and need letter of invitation, drop me an email (I'll try and press one or two buttons) |
afamako:How I no go blv u when I had already broken the gist to the house yesterday. Anyway, nuff of CHAMS 4 now |
pumping777:I didnt know I had to. called my contact on sunday in prepation for monday. Was in a meeting all through the day came out of the meeting saw a few missed calls from (. . . ). rushed frantically and instructed a cheque to be sent in, by the time i finished, str8 on the laptop, broke the news to the house (at least in enough time to fill out a form and get cheque sent in). Wanaj0 thought i was having a laugh. the thing even take me by surprise, I was hoping to take my time and go for the jugular, I missed the jugular but it landed below the belt. |
G-reycells:read the last couple of posts, CHAMS is closed. It opened and closed yesterday!!!! end of |
easimoni: K2:As I no be guru, nobody believed me, I gave the house an insight from a very authoritative source (someone at the top). people thought i'd gone barmy. provided they sought me out for my small change own I no mind. A price worth paying for missing out on the UBA train? I'll have to wait and see |

wanaj0:by the time you realise that this is the most authentic news of the year so far, I'll already be at the top. Check it out, just ask anyone (in the know) from the lead issuing house (UBA global market) |
@ una still dey there de chase PE and EPS, CHAMS PP opened and closed toay. Oh yessss you heard it from me. Inside story. I only managed to jump on train as it was about to chage gear. (fingers crossed) Before you start complaining, rememember that this is PP, so they are not obliged to stick to any timetable. |
pumping777:Mcafee internet security suite 2007 detected and removed keylogger-Ardamax.dll when i was trying to install, but i couldnt install the program afterwards afterwards |
aktopgun:Is a ratio of 0.5:1 (of current assets:current liabilities) really desirable?. This ratio suggests that for every asset there are 2 liabilities ![]() |
Prince11:You might want to ask your broker, but I think the CHAMS PP is by invitation only. It is stated in the first couple of pages |
windywendy:@is it that juicyyyyyyyyyyyyy? is this by invitation only?. If so, then i have go and find my IM diary quick quick. |

Obalende:sent |
@ Na waaaa ohh, I am being charged N5 for every N1000 leaving my UBA NRN current account, in addition to a monthly maintainenance fee of N105. From now on, all transfers to be made from my savings account The problem is that the saving account (openend ages ago when I was in Nja) is not part of my NRN suite of accounts and I don't know how to add it to my NRN suite. ********************************************** @Pumping777 You are correct, proshare have updated their website "Oceanic Bank Plc new Closure Date is January 7, 2008 instead of 16-18 January, 2008 and later January 9, 2008 that was previously advised." Source - http://www.proshareng.com/myproshare/portal_news.php?id=3396 *********************************************** |
@Guys Ignore diamond Bank at your peril. Got in through GDR @ 16.5, (no conversion fee, my source tells me I should have CSCS credited by end of month). |
ngegy:The closure date of oceanic is 9th, it was announced on the floor on 28/12. I posted a document ealier on this matter. I also also confirmaed it on proshare's website today. I stand corrected |
koksieboy:replied, hail me abeg |
@Guys Find attached the Orient petroleum PP documents. Gurus - dissect for us please http://www.megaupload.com/?d=2DV9X89I |
@Guys Diamond bank is taking off, why doesnt it get as much publicity as other banking stocks . Anyway bought during the GDR @16.5 and have asked it to be converted to ordinary shares. |
koksieboy:Could you please send me the metastock installation and stuff to jazzyjay6789 at hotmail dot com. thanks |
Man Jiro:I get data from Zenith, sometimes they miss data for some securities on certain days, (eg ACADEMY is missing from the list for 27-12). there is no way of knowing until you run vlookup of the imported price list. Excel puts #N/A in the cell 'cos it cant find it. This is not a problem if it one security on one day 'cos you can get the data frm some other source. It becomes a problem it there are several securities over several days |
For anyone using NSE.csv, find attached NSE2.csv for 24/12/07 to 02/02/08, import it and individual securities will be updated with extra info |
richieade:The formular i used to pull in data into NSE.csv from the master excel workbook returned #N/A because the data I was looking for did not exist in the master workbook, I copied the whole stuff result and pasted it into a text editor and manually deleted all lines with #N/A, copied the results back over the original NSE.csv, rows shifted up (as is expected, no problem), hence less rows. This is not a problem at all. pumping777 has already answred this query, you should only be worried if a consecutive read error from row 1 to the end occurs. A quick inpection of the offending rows of NSE.csv should tell if theres error or not. |
? How much do they expect us to cough out within days
