You don't need to raise taxes for such and its complete stupidity to even take loans to pay such.
Downsizing the work force is plain wickedness. Most States' Civil Service wage bill is actually false and filled with ghost personaluties.
Most of the work force in the civil service are not productive. Let the government/governor ensure they are via the respective Permanent Secretaries and Directors.
As far as I'm concerned governance is quite easy as long as its people oriented the right way for the right purpose.

If we analyse the total monies being stolen by politicians if they can be realized, it would be enough to pay even more than #50,000 as minimum wage to a working population of 180 million.

Run 6 columns of size 225×150mm. Let the stirrup spacing on your columns be 150mm.
Run an external beam, centre beam on the deck when you mat.
Use a mix of 1:2:2.
Reduce the tank size to 1500 litres.

Hello builders in the building. Please am having challenges on the new site am posted to. The site was constructed using frame structure and its a 2bedroom flat of 2 upper floors. I joined them on the second floor blockwork which has already been setout. My challenges now is that I noticed when my bricklayers follow block that has been set makes d blockwork deviate from the column at both sides for more than one inche. Though, we try as much as possible to make sure it align with the beam. My fear is, when the plastering will be done it may requires more plasters to cover those thickness. So, professionals, advice me if I should continue aligning my blockwork with the beams or I should set my blockwork with the columns which I think are the major cause of this challenges we are having.

You are supposed to align your block form work course by course to the frame structure(columns-beams). That's the most simple form to build. And you have the house plan handy as guude to put any partition wall internally. Except if you feel the frame structure(columns-beams) are not aligned in the manner they ought to.

To th gurus in the house please help with this:

We want to put a 2000 litres water tank on top of a decking so we want to determine proper size for the columns. The wall is 6inches and we don't want the column to be visible: we want it embedded in the wall.
The columns will be at the four corners of a rectangle of 2.4m by 1.2m.

A friend said 9in by 9in column would have been best but that considering my conditions I should go for 18in by 6in. Can 12in by 6in column withstand the weight?

Hello all

I want to share this idea with everyone and I don't think I have ever seen it before on NL.

It's filling the embedded aluminum bars of the casement with rise granite concrete (sometimes with a 8mm rod inside).

The idea was generated when an argument ensued that using 12mm or 16mm rods welded at the tops (and bottom) has made it easy for thieves to cut through the aluminum pipe and the rods,

The initial idea was not to fix the rods but let them freely move which makes it difficult to cut.

But with a concrete filled aluminum burglary bars, the cutter blade for metal cannot cut through concrete without blunting it.

But remember to have one or two safety-decor windows without concrete for emergencies.

The aim of levels of security is to at least prevent the intruder from getting into the safe room till external help arrives.
I think other security measures should be put in place to reduce the time to get external help.

I need advice from those who are well versed in building.
I want to construct a three(3) storey build with H or I-Beam with concrete for the pillars and small I-Beam for the floors instead of the usual concrete and rod. I know H/I-Beam is stronger than concrete with rod but i need validation. Has someone done similar job before? What is the cost like?

If I'm not mistaken are you referring to "concrete steel composite structures/steel concrete composite structures?
If you have, not entirely certain such has been done in Nigeria. The cost will depend on the overall design of the entire structure. But in all, it will be cost efficient (I hope I'm using the right word) or should I say it would be of lower cost if such structure is more than a single unit to the developer.

The Difference Is That After I Made The Payment In September 2018 And On/About The Ending Of March 2019, She Came With Another Agent/Notice That She's Changing From The Lawfirm We'd Been Paying Through. So After She Introduced The New Guy, I Went To Inform Her That I Had Already Made Part-Payment To Them Through The Husband's Nominated Attorney. I Also Immediately, Informed The Attorney I Paid To And He Promised To Sort It Out, That They Were Still Representing The Man.

The Question Is, The Payment I Made (Though In Part) Took Effect This Month, He Notice From Her Attorney To Me Yesterday Duly Acknowledge That I Have Paid But Still Went Ahead To Insinuate In The Notice That I Am A Tenant At Will (Tenant Holding Onto A Property After Expiration Of Rent)?

Guess you have your receipt of part payment handy.
Probably the lady is trying to play a fast one on her husband or his property lawyers due to unresolved issues.
If you have the time, kindly write to the property lawyers via your lawyer inquiring if they have resolved with the lady. And that you'll sue for damages, both the property lawyers and lady should any harm come to you or your properties.
