You people don’t have brains, just because you can put a couple of English words together doesn’t make you appear smart. If this is justice when will Nigerian people get justice against oppression from an incompetent terrorist, election rigger in the person of Muhammadu Buhari. Let’s justice be serve to all I keep wondering how did PMB turn to be a nations problem. You should note that in a very sane country having the potentials we claim to possess, all the presidents of Nigeria should never have been elected to that office. 1. Please do not even be that guy who built a.sand castle and went around boasting till.the tide came in and washed away his building....Nigeria is an ordinary country and the western powers can deal with you ruthlessly!!!! Do not be deceived by movies or videos games... Russia will not come to your aid and china.will never go to war over you !! This is not call or duty
2. This is a good point but if trully he had such charges what I wonder is why US Congress is even accepting his lobbyists... Something doesn't add up here ... I guess with time the truth will be told 1) Movies are for fun seekers. The odds are much. 2)Nothing adds up in Nigeria even when we hear the truth. We tend not to believe it because we have an over bearing hate for one and love for another. |

Do you understand what it means when the western powers calls atiku to congratulate him as president instead dog the incumbent? Men that will turn any country upside down You think its as easy the way you see it. Truth be told Nigeria is not just an ordinary country where western powers can over ride. More so the western powers will recognize Atiku to such extent. At least he is someone who refused to answer to corruption charges in the US when he was called to talk on his own role. So all these things we keep hearing are just for the media and populace to pitch about. |

Tammynator: Gurus in the house, I have a question that has been bugging my mind for a while now. Sirs/mas, if I'm going to do a DPC ( pour concrete on a DPM), why then should I bother myself with all the partitions during the excavation of the foundation? Why not just get the external diameter, and make some partitions and leave the rest? For instance, instead of digging toilet, ante room, parlour dining, kitchen, store, all the rooms, etc. Why not just a selected few out of all those and then, do the full partitioning after the DPC has been done. I hope I'm understood. Thanks. Construction wise, that's not advisable. What you're thinking is called partial walls/walling. You ought to differentiate between load bearing walls and non load bearing walls to be able to put that through. Depending on your house design wardrobe walls can be done in such way, etc, etc. Traditionally walls on the DPC(super structure) are supposed to be aligned onto the walls beneath at the foundation level(sub structure). Not doing that may cause your DPC to cave in at such positions once there's soil settlement and it may affect the wall above. |

MetaPhysical: When this first erupted I thought to myself there is no smoke without fire, the administration already got their hands on something incriminating. You dont just take a Chief Justice infront of a tribunal for fun. Then couple of SANs jumped in to say all infringement matters involving Judges are to be adjudicated by NJC. In their response the Administration said this case is a CCT jurisdiction. Thats when I knew this was more than mere infringement, its likely a far deeper issue and not unlikely to be related with the acquital of Saraki. At that early point I was wishing Onnoghen would do what lawyers do and bargain for a compromise and quash everything. But SS/SE groups joined in to urge him on in counter-attacks against the administration, and surprisingly he went along with the fray. That was his huge misstep.
I still believe he worked the backend in exchange for some money to acquit Saraki. If the case goes to trial the investigators will get to that revelation and it would incriminate a lot of people.....Onnoghen, Saraki, PDP, possibly Atiku. To save the embarassment Onnoghen has opted to resign. He should have done the bold at the preliminary instead of letting us on the media wars trying to proove himself right. There are lots of persons whose case files are at the drawers of certain persons. Once you become a threat, it will be looked upon and suitable action will be taken if need be. |

MetaPhysical: You know, the governors were the first out of the block to accuse Buhari, and even tied in APC, of bias and dictatorship. So you are right they have lost the voice of reasoning and capacity to act as peacemakers on the case.
The best way out for the CJN is to recruit the AG.
Onnoghen's character is whats questioned, his judicial capacity is not in doubt, he is still a career judge. Therefore The AG, Mallami, can act as a professional witness to catalogue and brief the President on the career path of a lawyer and a judge, and why coming to a compromised deal might be better than a dead-end ruling.
Another option will be for Onnoghen to seek support from SANs in SW. I say this because Yoruba Lawyers command great respect and reverence from Government and SW is a partner in the Administration.
Both options will pay off greatly. By all means Mr Onnoghen should please put his ego and self to side for now and think about his family. This case could end with him going to prison. It will devastate the family. If I had capacity to speak influentially on his behalf I will do so for sake of his family. He appears to be a loving husband and father, he should be punished for his errors but he should not be condemned totally and denied his entitlements.
We want criminals to learn and adjust from their lessons, if we are cruel in the sentencing the chance to make correction will be lost. Nice comments. But I'd say if the CJN was not in good stance with prominent lawyers from the SW, then it will be difficult. But I know the judiciary have a way of sorting out their issues, just that this was allowed to play too far. |
Politics › Re: What Will Happen If Buhari Rejects Onnoghen’s Resignation – Clarke by bixton(m): 2:39pm On Apr 08, 2019 |
MetaPhysical: If he is allowed to resign as the CJN he can remain in practice as a lawyer until retirement and his entitlement kicks in. If his resignation is rejected he can opt for early retirement but if that is also rejected then he is in deep trouble. An indictment will de-bar and de-robe him, his entitlement is canceled and he could be sentenced to prison.
Its important that SS Governors lead a team to Buhari to concede Onnoghen's error and plead for mercy on him. Were they not chest beating at the initial time? I still wonder how can the CJN who is a carreer civil servant be playing his job like he's a politician. He ought to know better that the judiciary has a precedence to keep about her officers. I'd expected him to fight to the logical end since he said he is innocent. Can anyone spot the difference in his case and that of Justice Salami? I think we in the SS should put our thinking caps in the right position. |

Hi,
Thanks for the response. (1). I already determined the cost of land. My childhood friend told me the land will cost me 1.2 million Naira in Edo state. (2). I found a design online and the seller says he need 250k for the design. The perspective of the environment is included in the fee. But I am considering other plans because I have not found something I actually I need.
I asked the guy selling the house plan the estimate of the house and he said it will cost me like 20 million Naira. I have a question. Apart from the cost of materials and the quality of materials, why the variation of costs? I thought it is the same blocks they use. Please, enlighten me. Thanks once again. There will always be a variation even with a detailed plan. That which varies should not be excessive. If there are specifics to what you need in the design, etc, etc, you should let whoever is doing the drawings put it on. |

EMMAACHILE: I have long being a fan of moringa products due to the vast array of wonderful functions it does to the Human body and even to ruminants/broilers.
This topic is created with the mind to see how profitable moringa farming can be interms of the seedlings and the oil aspect. Moringa leafs and its powder market seem to be oversaturated.
The major hindrance to this project is availability of land and herdsmen wahala. Still searching for a place to lease/buy and may have to look elsewhere.
The attached pictures are nursery planted at around 22:00 hours on the 27th of March, 2019. So far, eight have germinated out of ten. I am planting these ones in my house.
The seeds are very expensive at about N250,000 for a 1000 seed quote including custom and transport to Nigeria from India.
A tree is expected to yield about 5kg per year after 2 years. Currently a kg of local moringa seeds is sold at about N1,800-N2,000. What land type is good for such plant? Will a matured tree withstand flood water? |

To curb subsidy your refineries must work...since Buhari assumed power has any refinery worked?..NO!!
So whose fault is it? ..Mine,Yours or Buhari's inept Government.
Stop supporting Nonsense. ...Buhari is a Scam Since 1999 till date no refinery has been working, so don't run blames. I still don't see the logic behind selling crude and buying refined products. It just shows we love short cuts as a nation. |

tactius: In 2016 the cost of importing a liter of fuel was 132 naira, and we were selling fuel at 87 naira.
Government raised prices to 145 naira, ending subsidy.
But eventually cost of importing fuel went up to 150 naira and kept rising.
Subsidy was reintroduced because government does not want to be removed from power over high fuel prices.
Buhari should have removed subsidies from day one. Yes, fuel would cost 200 naira per liter, but there would be investment in new refineries, lots of foreign investment, and at the end, prices would fall. How many foreign investors or investments in new refineries were initiated during the OBJ to GEJ regime ; None. They all wanted to import the product that was never seen only to make claims from the government. Is it now that any investment would be done given the economy? I'd expected any government/the government to go into partnership with oil producing companies just like they did on the NLNG project and put up some refineries. |

bishopkay: Imagine this scenario and it happened real life so don't think it's some fairy tale.
Three men visited a car stand. They asked for the pricing of a 2013 Toyota camry and the seller told them the price (say 5 million naira).
They asked him for his account details and after 2 days, they transferred 3 million naira into his account.
Immediately after the transfer, they came to him and told him they are sorry but they couldn't complete the cash; so the car dealer should give them 2 million -five hundred thousand naira and keep the other five hundred thousand naira on it as fees for inconvenience on his part. The car dealer happily did that and was happy he got 500k as fees for doing almost nothing.
Fast forward to 3 days time, he had his car stand invaded by F-SARS and anti kidnapping squads. They asked if he was the owner of the account and Nabbed him immediately He admitted to ownership of the account; then it dawned in him what was really happening.
The guys were kidnappers and they used his account to recieve kidnap ransom making him culpable in the offence. He paid them cash with no trace and they made It look like the 500k was his own share of the loot! Now he is in very deep trouble but it could have been avoided.
That's it people, stay safe and be very careful. Don't go looking for quick cash or commissions without doing your DD. Let wisdom guide you always and don't be greedy!
