Emir01:I think you'll be wrong in this analysis on election day. The pepole of many of these states (especially the Christians) have been through hell, over the last 8 years. If you think some APC officials are going to make people vote for those who have been killing, maiming, abducting them and rapping their women, then you'll be surprised. Even if Buhari was on the ballot, he would loose Plateau and Benue |
Definite wins Plateau Benue Abjua High Probability Taraba (Majority Christian State) Kaduna(Assuming he gets the bulk of South Kaduna votes and the rest is split 4 ways) Gombe(Similar to Kaduna, Obi cleans up the Christian votes, the rest is split 4 ways) Low Probability, but possible Kogi Nassarawa |
Is it too late to draft baba for the election next month? He is fitter in mind and body than all the candidates!! |
Like him or hate him, you can't deny Atiku is a big boss in Nigerian politics. He dose need to be running up and down the place. He has the NW on lockdown, with the exception of Kano. He'll likely win Bauchi and Gombe and Adamawa in the NE, and Niger and Kwara in the NC He'll come second to PO in the SE and SS and second to BAT in the SW except for Lagos where he'll come 3rd. The above projections guarantee that he'll be in the 2nd round, so he can afford to relax for now. |
The same crappie was said in the 70's. The UK will prosper, its a dynamic country. |
Indispensable85:Peter Obi's campaign is a grassroot campaign, that is not dependent on the existing political structures. Looking at the national map at the moment I cant' see how Tinubu is in the top 2, let alone wins in the first round. He does not have ANY zone in the country under firm lockdown. Yes, even the SW is not firm for Tinubu. Oyo, Ekiti, Ogun are in play for PDP. APC will win Lagos, but the margin will be tight with LP. At the end of the day, Atiku has most of the NW locked down, with the exception of Kano. Kaduna is up for grabs. PO has the SE and SS and half of the NC locked down. I think it'll be Atiku and PO in the first round, with none getting the qualifying spread, and the election will go to a runoff. In the runoff the SW will be kingmakers. |
Obaofaba:By North I assume you don't mean Benue, Kogi, Pleateu, Taraba and Kaduna? Mark my words PO is winning those 5 states plus the SE and SS and Lagos. It's not long now we shall all see |
Ofodirinwa:I've never seen a more self defeating race than the Igbos. We have all tried to support them in this election but it seems they are simply not capable of being united, even when they have such a good chance. Not a single prominant Igbo person has come out publically to suport PO. Soludo, Eze, Kalu, Nanamani, all of not endorsed him. Big Shame!! |
This has to be one of the best articles I've read on NL this year. Well done bro. Please enjoy your time in Russia and thanks for giving us another perspective, diffrent from what we usually see on the media. |
Obi of Onitsha has downgraded himself. First class traditional rulers will not want him 8n their company going forward. |
We should strive to say the truth and tell it how it is, regardless of political or personal preferences. The Obi of Onitsha has done a GREAT DISERVICE to the Igbo nation. It is totally UNACCEPTABLE, that a 1st class traditional ruler will leave his palace to receive a presedential asspirtant. Even if Atiku is president and vists Anambra, the expectation would still be that he goes to pay a courtsey call on the Obi in his palace. A very sad day indeed. |
With Buhari determined to prevent rigging, it looks like the most likely outcome is an Atiku v Obi run off. The SW will become the king makers |
They have no power to do that, unless they amend the relvevant legeslation that gives CBN autonomy in monetry affairs |
One problem with a lot of Nigerians is that they don't really know what they want. Mr A does something, therefore Mr B feels he must do the same. My advice to anyone considering leaving their job in Nigeira to come to the UK, is first of all do an honest analysis of yourself and your situation. What kind of person are you? Are you the kind who can set a goal for yourself, and work towards it, no matter how hard and rough the road? It takes a certain kind of mindset to make it in the UK. I meet people here working in security or as taxi drivers, I finished my university and moved on, and many of them were still doing those jobs. In the UK you need an Iron will, total focus and be ready to sacrifice to obtain your dreams.. If you are not that kind of person, it may be better to stay in Nigeira and work your way throught the system In summary the age old doctrine of 'Know thyself' is essential befoe making the choice to Japa or not Japa |
Excellent. Now the North have oil, we will soon see their leaders shouting 'Resource Control" |
UK people, come and vist the world famous Edo State. Witness great traddition, awsome women, and some of the best soup you will ever taste.! |
What is wrong with Idoltry? Our ancestors practiced this for thousands of years before Oyibo came and told you that everything in your culture was bad and demonic. Rishi Sunnak, the new UK PM was performing Hindu rituals outside No 10, on his first day as PM, nobody said anything was wrong with it. If a Nigerian did the same , brainless people will be screaming "Demonic, primitive...." The blackman is truly lost |
I can'tunderstand why Peter Obi is there, when Atiku and Tinubu have refused to attend. This is wrong |
He will not seek help for his own people who have been impacted by flood, na Pakistan matter e dey put mouth! The day Buhari leaves office, must be declared a public holiday, so Nigerians can celebrate the end of this terrible administration |
Some of you said you would vote a President even if presented NEPA bill as certificate. Now your currency is worth less than a NEPA bill. Next year some of you will vote for a candiate whose name is a lie, his school credentials are a lie, his age is a lie. Dont' complain when your currency and economy also become lies with that person! |
EL Rufai is a true player. He always used to abuse Buhari, but changed his tune later. Now he knows APC is fnished, he's coming back 'home' to Baba OBJ. 2023 will be an amazing year indeed! |
Zonefree:Amen At the end of the day, Parents are responsable for the well being of their kids. You can't blame the nanny or anybody else. It's a diffrent thing is the nanny/child minder hurt the child on purpose. We don't even know if the Nanny was on the duty when the incident occured. The bottom line is parents need to LEARN from this episode. If there are young kids in the house, then child saftey meassures like pool coverings or locked doors leading to the pool, need to be in place, to prevent further tragic loss of young lives. |
After SEVEN YEARS in office, The president coud not even upgrade Aso Rock Clinic to a standard where he can do check ups there. Is it any wonder the Niara keeps crashing when everybody is needs FX for health care and school fees? Since we love foriegn schools and hospitals so much, we may as well invite the British back to colonize us completly, make the matter just finish! |
He will not win a single state in the NC, SW, SS, SE, so how exactly he's going to be president? I still think he'll step down just before the election and endorse somebody else |
APC will be humiliated in Feb. The race is a straight fight between Atiku and Peter Obi. NC and SS will be the king makers |
