StrongAlphMale: Seconded.
As full blooded Edo niggar, I concur with everything you said bro. I thought I'm the only Edo Delta niggar who hate the south south designation with a very strong passion. And also wishes that Edo becomes a nation on its own should Nigeria split up.
I said exactly this same thing you just said now and one idiot on this forum quickly attacked me and instantly labelled me an Igbo man. Comrade, I'm glad we still have few Edos like u with wisdom. God bless you brother. There are many of us out there that have this sentiment don't worry. If and when the time comes our voice will be loud, clear and direct, no shaking. |

MadamExcellency: There is nothing like South South. It's either Igbo, Ikwere, Ibibio, Efik, Annag, Isoko, Ijaw etc.
Speak for your tribe and remain blessed.
Imagine Ijaw telling Ikwere who to vote or Igbo telling Ibibio who to support.
Politics is all about common interest and interrelationships. Thank You! As ab Edo man, I hate the South South designation with a passion. Iam an Edo first, then Nigerian. If Nigeria splits tomorrow, Edo will go its own way, not part of any Niger delta Republic |

SpecialEdition: This APC and PDP control of Nigeria needs to stop. Why spend all this money if they are not guaranteed that things will continue as before. As we wait for the APC candidate let’s be aware that the whole North will not vote Atiku. North is 105 million - inside North is Middle Belt (north central 30 million includes places like Benue)
South is 90 million
Total number of votes last election was less than 30 million
Northerners suffered most in this APC and PDP government. Northerners believe in equity. Many people are not aware but we can all get that awareness to every Nigerian both North and South.
If youths vote for Peter Obi with the same vigour of #Endsars. #endbadgovernment . Youths can produce over 60 million votes and end all this annoitment of candidates. Remember Anambra elections? The new voting system prevent / reduce rigging. They can only buy votes but they now need presence of voters to vote. Remember how in Anambra they carried money and were begging people to collect? There are video phones and life streaming everywhere. Things have changed. Your vote really matters. Please use it and please educate your friends. Another 8 years of this will finally destroy our spirits and turn us angry, mad or simply zombies.
I support Peter Obi because he left government almost 10years ago. He left a lot of money for the airport that was built in Anambra state. EFCC has made many attempts to arrest him but they have absolutely nothing on him. He was a billionaire before he went into government and he continues to be a rich man. He actually keeps receipts. Haters talk of Pandora a tax saving scheme. The only thing they have on him is that he was trying to pay the less tax by using offshore companies without breaking the rules. Tax evasion means concealing income or information from tax authorities — and it's illegal. Tax avoidance means legally reducing your taxable income. Ask an accountant to explain There's nothing wrong using legal means to reduce tax, you are quite right. Peter Obi is the only person saying what needs to be done to fix this nation |

If you remove all sentiments, and look at things objectively its clear Amachi is Buhari's candidate. To be clear I will NEVER vote Amachi, but in terms of political analysis, he's the one who meets all Buhari's requirements. He was twice DG of Buhari's campaign, they are very close. If he was not the preferred one, Buhari would not have let him resign his position. Also the title Katsina gave him, "The Trusted One' is a clear sign |

Politics › Re: 2023 Presidency: APC Weighs Options As Atiku Shops For Running Mate by bjdon: 11:31am On May 30, 2022 |
MikoB: As it is, the only sure aspirant in the apc that will beat Atiku in the apc is Osinbajo, reason been that PYO is the only aspirant that is acceptable in all the six geo political zones in the country, you will be amazed that Osinbajo has more support in the middle belt more than any support he enjoys in his region of South West, also the work he has put in for many months have began to manifest, his candidate won in benue, oyo and adamawa for the governorship to the surprise of many, but for the people that follow him were not surprised anyway. As for the primary coming up, Osinbajo is going to win, because the party knows he is the only that can guarantee victory, let me talk a little bit about other aspirants, and their weaknesses, Asiwaju no doubt is a big politician any day any time, but he miscalculated, he was hoping on southern candidates for both apc and pdp base on the clamour at that time, so he did not bother himself to allign much with the SS and SE also with the Christian communities of the Middle belt, his calculation was that once pdp gives her ticket to either a ss or se person, he will surely have an upper hand in his region of sw and also do very well in the nw and ne, which normally would have guaranteed victory for him but with Atiku as the pdp candidate now, Tinubu wil need new strategy.
Ahmed lawan candidacy wil not fly, because Buhari is about to finish his two term regime under apc, it is impossible for apc to give another northerner her ticket, also Lawan cannot defeat Atiku, one, because they are from the same region of NE and everyone knows Atiku is stronger than him in the NE, Atiku and Kwankwaso will do very well too in the NW, the NC wil be divided among the aspirants, so coming to the south, he will not do well at all no matter whom he picks as his running mate, I trust the south westerners they will not vote for him, the south east has Obi and the south south will be shared depending on whom Atiku picks as his running mate, so lawan will not fly.
Amaechi is another candidate that might do well if given the ticket but his problem is that he has no political base at home and his region, but if he has the support of the president he might be able to put up some fight, but that does not guarantee a victory against Atiku.
with due respect to all other aspirants I did not mention their names, even if Buhari endorses them and they pick up the ticket for the apc, they will not be able to defeat Atiku.
Osinbajo is the only candidate, that will win very well in SW, and also likely win the SS and not do badly in the SE, he will win in the North Central, he will not do badly in the North East because of some Christian population there, he will not do badly in the North West because apc controls most states there and also because if Buhari, so in all, Osinbajo will likely win 4 regions, either will like it or not, religion and ethinicty still play a big part in our politics in nigeria, and I guess these are going to be of advantage to Osinbajo, no wonder he is a movement in the cbhtistain dominated states of plateau, benue, Taraba etc. Dream on. Who told you PYO can win the SS? You think we've forgotten what the SW did to GEJ? SS will rather vote Atiku, than vote any SW candidate. |

Tingotoe: Peter Obi is a big political fool for leaving the PDP at this point in time. He could have stayed on and negotiated for the VP slot just like in 2019. Now he's left with nothing. Ibos know nothing about politics You just don't get it. VP slot means NOTHING anymore. Can't you see whats happening in ACP? The North are determined to rule for ever, banking on the divisions in the south. Any southern VP to Atiku will NEVER smell the presidency, like Osinbajo will not smell it. The South need to unite and go for the presidency |

seunmsg: Rubbish. The SW is done is with the VP slot, we don’t need it. We need a southern president in 2023 irrespective of where it is coming from the south. I will not vote for Atiku or any northerner in 2023 even if my father is the running mate. You are born well. I can't believe some southerners are already talking of VP slot Are some of you totally senseless? We need a southerner commited to restructure the country. Let the North keep the VP slot as well, we in the south are not interested. Southern president or nothing |
Politics › Re: A South-west V.p. Is All Atiku Needs Now by bjdon: 11:04am On May 29, 2022 |
LordIsaac: I will not congratulate Atiku because of what a Fulani-led regime has done to Nigeria. Let me however lend my voice to his victory. In my opinion, a South-West V.P. will help him get some votes from a region that is politically relevant in the scheme of things, and further divide the votes from that region. What do you think? So after playing second fiddle for 8 years , the SW should do the same for another 8 years. Na wa for you O |

Politics › Re: Godwin Obaseki Congratulates Atiku Abubakar, Urge Other Aspirants To Support Him by bjdon: 8:41am On May 29, 2022 |
kingyakos: My brother, even if buhari hand over power to another northerner to rule for 8yrs, let election come again the north will continue winning over and over again, unless they decide to have pity on the south and hand picked who ever pleases them from the south. The outcome of APC primaries won't have any difference with that of PDP, it's a shadow of it self. You and i know that it's not possible for the south to unite, so much greed, tribalism, religious belief. The south claim to be one in religion but different in conduct order and doctrines. Catholic for Catholic, RCCG for RCCG, Winners for Winners, Apostolic for Apostolic etc. The south is the problem of it self Its for us the individual southern voters to take matters in our hands. Peter Obi is clearly the most qualified southern candidate. We should vote en mass for him from the SW to the SE. Let's ignore the small things that divide us, and send a message to the North, that we to can be united. The alternative is what you say , endless northern rule. |

This Edo man totally disagrees with you. We need fairness if there is every to be a true 'Political South'. The SE voted for Obasanjo. In fact in 2023 Obasanjo got more votes in the SE than Ojukwu. The SE also voted for GEJ twice. GEJ got more votes than both Ojukwu and Kalu. The SE have paid their dues in terms of southern unity. This is just a fact. I have a lot of critisims against the SE across a number of things including when they try and rewrite history to absolves themselves from some of the problems facing the counrtry today, but in terms of 2023 I am firmly of the view that we in the south should and must support a candidate from the SE. If Peter Obi moves to the Labour Party as currently being rumored, all in the south MUST support him, or the term 'Southern Unity' means absolutly nothing. |

Rugaria: Reno Omokiri or whatever he calls himself should shut his trap for heavens sake and stop all these proxy war against the igbos because some igbos took him to the cleaners the other day after he came up with all sorts of Cork and Bull stories about how the igbos were enslaved by his unknown itshekiri people! Since then, this guy has made it a point of duty to aim his tirade towards the igbo, even if he pretends such is not the intention. Who and who is defending the killings of the woman? Who knows who kilked her? Many people are getting killed in Anambra and Imo by some unknown actors and the people of these areas have been complaining!
Most of the victims are from the East! Almost all are igbos! Very important and hardworking personalities. I don't know where Omokiri and his type got the impression that anybody is happy over the killings of some kids and their mother! Is Dr Akunyili a Hausa man? The engineer that was killed at Enugu some months back, was he from Kafanchan? How about the legislator that was killed few days ago!? That one is Fulani from Birnin Kebbi!?!? These are cheap shots from a supposed pastor! He should let the Igbo be and move on! All these bloodshed and mayhem in the South East is because the igbos supported his principal, Goodluck Jonathan against the guy from Niger republic! That was how it all started and everyone in this country knows this! His people have never supported any Igbo mans political ambitions before!
He should face Nigeria and stop trying to rope the Igbo man into all sorts of political tempest? Most of the victims in the North are northerners yet we only found our voice when a northern Christian was killed. We should stand tall and condemn ALL killings |
