Which place is Biafra? I think Government should make a law banning people from mentioning Biafra anywhere. Mentioning Biafra anywhere either verbally or in writing should be offence that attract life imprisonment. Nigeria Must Be One! Amotolongbo: |
People like you, along with corrupt puplic office holders and terrorists need to be eliminated for this country to survive and make progress! ScamHunter: |
I'm shocked that people are reasoning like this! She is his wife for crying out loud. They are one flesh and one spirit. The husband has a right to even wash the wife's private by himself how much more the pant. The wife's body is his body, remember. The only problem I have with the guy is him telling the whole world that. This is a private issue that ought to have remained private. Kriss216: |
Okay, let's assume there are 'powers' behind sea/beach water, who created the water in the sea or beach and put powers there? What purpose were the 'powers' meant to serve? Unevolved people are always quick to condemn things that are mysteries to them. dairykidd: |
Man's inhumanity to man. May his soul rest in peace. I guess it's time religion is either regulated or completely scrapped in this country. Religion, tribal sentiment and corruption are three demons that have held this country back for so long. Something must be done urgently |
Internet savvy qua! Hope he is not into yahoo yahoo sha? Just asking for a friend |
A contract having no terminal date is immaterial. Was it stated in the contract that it was to last forever? That's the only thing that matters! Having no terminal date and without it being clearly stated that it's forever means any of the party can justifiably terminate the contract anytime! Pavore9: |
I completely agree with you. A typical Hausa/Fulani man is contented with whatever he has. They are not as materialistic and greedy as an average southerner. Just imagine if this happened in a place like Aba, or any other place in the south for that matter. Even N100,000 would have been enough to bury the matter. For those of you doubting the story or the genuineness of the man's rejection of the bribe, just bear in mind that there are still incorruptible Nigerians in every works of life no matter how corrupt we like to believe the country is brainpulse: |
LOL. As funny as it sounds, I actually think this is the best advice so far. The audacity and straightforwardness would so much shock her she would be disarmed and powerless! She might actually end up being impressed with your boldness! And it's possible those in the meeting would passionately plead with her to forgive you if she even think of sacking you! So give this suggestion a trial bro. Na only once man dey die! MISSCONGENIALITY: |
That's a price you pay for not being wise. How can you get somebody's bank account details from another person and then transfer money to that account without contacting the owner of the account first to confirm if that's truly his account number and if you should go ahead and transfer money into the account. You are on your own o! The owner of the account no send you message. VillageBus: |
Hmmm! In all these I only pity the peaceful, law abiding people still living in South East. The way criminal elements will terrorize the people of that region eh! Let the idiots keep attacking and keep burning down the police stations and take away all the weapons and free all the hardened criminals. It is their people that will suffer it terribly. I see South East becoming second most terrorized region after the North East as a result of the activities of hardened criminals and misguided elements asking for Biafra. Let me say this, the SE is forever married to Nigeria! No force, no matter how strong can divide this country. Nigeria is one indivisible entity forever no matter the challenges and forces working against its unity. So let the fools keep attacking the police stations in their region, take away all the weapons, and let some other fools rejoice about it, they will only succeed in turning the region to hell and the most terrorized region in Nigeria yet they won't be able to break away from Nigeria! Biafra will only exist in their fantasy. |
I tire o! I don't know when these children will stop this their habit of thinking that anything produced in China is automatically substandard. China has some of the world's best technologies. They may not be the original inventors of some of those technologies but they are very good at improving on other people's technology and making it far better. If someone tells me that the phone is overpriced I will agree but making it look like just because may be made in China automatically make it substandard is sheer stupidity.
Show us one phone battery wey ur country don make since 1960 abeg. Some people go just open mouth dey talk down China anyhow. If only you kids know what China means to the world, go ask America and UK.
|
And funny enough, SW is the only region in Nigeria that has a legitimate regional security outfit whose personnel are legally allowed to carry arms. What has Amotekun (whatever name they call them) been doing? At least if the police are over stretched or ineffective a regional security outfit with arms ought to have been equal to the task or it should be scrapped! EastisBae: |
Na this one be the real king. The other 'king' na counterfeit! positivevibez: |
I remember when CBN came up with the idea of BVN I knew some christian fantastics who believed BVN was an antichrist stuff and so they decided they would not register for it. When their bank account was eventually blocked they finally rushed register for the BVN. What if tomorrow the government decide to block the bank account of those who have not been vaccinated, make a law that forbides your kids from going to school until vaccinated and there are so many critical things you won't be able to do but upon which your very survival depends, what will you do? I am seeing these things coming! atonement12: |
Zamfara declared 'no fly zone'. I guess they are referring to witches and wizard, (not aircraft as many of you think). I learn witches fly with broom so the FG is banning witches and wizard from flying into zamfara state! But come to think of it, does it mean APC members won't be having meeting in zamfara state again? Because all APC members are witches and wizard, hence, their use of brooms. |
No. The guy is not contradicting himself. You see, ability to look at things from different angles is one of the qualities of a truly intelligent person. The point he was trying to make there is that even though it is bad economics to restrict importation of fuel to those who have license to operate refineries, Dangote is not the only one who will benefit from such policy as there are other people who owns such license too. He was looking at it from different perspective. I personally don't support that Dangote's suggestion, but then, I can see that he has a point. Imagine spending all that billions of dollars to build a refinery only for some unscrupulous elements to flood Nigerian market with substandard fuel that sells at a price that is far lower than what Dangote can afford to sell and make profit. His refinery would just fold up and billions used in building it gone! Government just have to find a way of regulating the market to encourage those who operate refineries without creating room for monopoly. Rugaria: |
Didn't you know the tradition and practices of white garment churches before you went there? Whether those stuff would work for you or not depends on inner purity and faith of those ministering to you combined with your own faith and inner purity. Manifestation of spiritual power is about 90% faith/imagination and 10% physical activity. You obviously lack faith in their practices, hence, you may not get results. You also seems to be spiritually immature, and you seems to lack good spiritual foundation. You have a long way to go! |
You are very correct bro. Those who cannot compromise and make sacrifices to some reasonable extent are not supposed to go into marriage. Btw, why is it so hard for Kim to understand that as a wife she suppose to be submissive and follow her husband's lead rather than trying to impose her will and insist on having her way? Spoiled women of this generation sha. Sunnycliff: |
These crazy people sef. Don't they know any young, intelligent, hardworking man or woman of integrity who is interested in becoming a president they could support with the money? Why a billionaire Tinubu of all people? Did Tinubu complain that he is broke? |
LOL. I can see 'real' yahoo boys here in Nairaland are angry that the guy is being called a yahoo boy! Abeg make ona no vex. I know say na ona be the real yahoo boys the guy is just an 'hoodlum'! Goodman247: |
It's either you are a kid or you are a mad man. Will you go and give that phone to your mum and stop typing nonsense here! Akhee: |
I can't believe what I just read here. After reading this shit I just feel like crying for this country! How can people be this one-sided in their judgement and blind to their own faults? Indeed, we still have a very long way to go as a country. And to think that this is a highly educated man (judging from his English) is baffling. |
Soludo contesting for governorship? This is the caliber of people who suppose to be ruling the country not all these failed, clueless politicians we keep recycling. |
Hmm! You really have some interesting fantasy about this your anti- hero called Trump! LOL ogbonti: |
He will definitely wish her happy birthday in 'za oza room'! |
Misleading headline. I actually thought the cows entered classrooms and scattered things and pursue both the teachers and the students from their classes. |
I'm so happy for Churchill. I wish him a happy married life. Indeed, one woman's 40 second is another woman's eternity! I simply don't bloody care if Tonto Dike 'was right all along' as some of you like to say. Irrespective of what Churchill did or didn't do, Tonto's actions and reactions show she was immature, toxic and not a good wife material! |
I still maintain that if Tonto was a good person Churchill wouldn't have looked elsewhere for love. The girl we all know is demon-possesed. She was even lucky to have seen a man who was willing to marry her then and make her a mother of his child. Abeg leave my friend alone let him enjoy his new love. 1Sharon: |
I find it funny the way you Nairaland ladies just start hating Churchill after hearing he is dating his PA. Do you think if Tonto Dike was a good person and a good wife Churchill would have looked elsewhere for love and comfort? Don't you know that a bad wife can drive a good man into the arm of another woman who can shower him with all the love he is not getting from his wife? My intuition tells me that Churchill is a good, kind-hearted, caring, peace loving man. He may not be a perfect angel but he is definitely an angel while Tonto is far from being an angel! Ardar: |
So you were expecting her not to call spade a spade. You Trump worshipers should stop assuming that Trump had good intentions in everything he did. The guy was evil in many ways. Your suggestions of what she should have said show you are naive. Anyway, my own assumption is that Trump has this habit of looking down on or underestimating black people generally. That was the real reason for his opposition of Ngozi helpee: |
