Maximus69:You are explaining what you like and not what the Bible teaches, I think it is best to stick to God's word. The rule to understand the word of God is to follow it according to prophet Isaiah's instructions. Isaiah 28:9-10 New King James Version (NKJV) “Whom will he teach knowledge? 9And whom will he make to understand the message? Those just weaned from milk? Those just drawn from the breasts? For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept, 10 Line upon line, line upon line, Here a little, there a little.” You cannot interpret God's word the way you like of feel it is a very big offense against God. In your explanation you left out the fact that Jesus was the son of God and was God by nature inherited from his father even before he was presented to the World. John 1 King James Version (KJV) In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.The same was in the beginning with God. You see that your explanation cannot hold water. |
Maximus69:used this parable to demonstrate his relationship with God and how men will killing him inorder to posses the (vineyard)Earth. Luke 20:9 Then began he to speak to the people this parable; A certain man planted a vineyard, and let it forth to husbandmen, and went into a far country for a long time. 20:10 And at the season he sent a servant to the husbandmen, that they should give him of the fruit of the vineyard: but the husbandmen beat him, and sent him away empty. 20:11 And again he sent another servant: and they beat him also, and entreated him shamefully, and sent him away empty. 20:12 And again he sent a third: and they wounded him also, and cast him out. 20:13 Then said the lord of the vineyard, What shall I do? I will send my beloved son: it may be they will reverence him when they see him. 20:14 But when the husbandmen saw him, they reasoned among themselves, saying, This is the heir: come, let us kill him, that the inheritance may be ours. 20:15 So they cast him out of the vineyard, and killed him. What therefore shall the lord of the vineyard do unto them? 20:16 He shall come and destroy these husbandmen, and shall give the vineyard to others. And when they heard it, they said, God forbid. 20:17 And he beheld them, and said, What is this then that is written, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner? 20:18 Whosoever shall fall upon that stone shall be broken; but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder. As we can see from the parable Jesus was describing the kingdom of God and himself. As The man sent his beloved son, so also God sent his beloved Son into the World. The workers conspired and killed the Son so also the people conspired and killed Jesus There is nothing in this parable that implies that the son was adopted or was only son by title. Rather the Bible hints that the son was the inheritor of the man's vineyard. Jesus is the heir to God's throne not by adoption but by inheritance. |
Maximus69:If Jesus was an Angel then this Bible verse contradicts itself. Becos this Bible verse hints that none of the Angels was selected or qualified to be called the Son of God but he that God beget. Hebrews 1:5 For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son? As we can see from that Bible verse at no time did God ever call any Angel his Son neither did any call him his father. Of cos we know that Angels and Man are called the sons of God. This means that Hebrews 1:5 is taking about literal Father son relationship which only Jesus has with God. No wonder the Bible says Jesus was BEGOTTEN by or CAME OUT from God, and the Bible want on to tell us that he was the ONLY BEGOTTEN SON of God. While God has billions of Sons consisting of both Angels, Man, cherubim and seraphims only Jesus is the Son that was BEGOTTEN by God hence he has God's nature, substance and attributes that is while he is reffered to as the express image of God. Hebrews 1:3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; |
Maximus69:Questioning the sonship of Jesus is like making God a liar For when we deny that Jesus is the literal son of God then we deny or doubt the love of God torwards us. For God loved us so much that he gave not an Angel or adopted son but his only BEGOTTEN Son born by him to die for humanity. 1 John 4:9 In this was manifested the LOVE of God toward us, because that God sent his ONLY BEGOTTON SON into the world, that we might live through him. 1 John 5:1 Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him. |
Maximus69:This verse below tells us plainly that Jesus was born by God. 1 John 5:1 Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is BORN of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him. Jesus also tells us that he came out from the FATHER John 16:27 For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I CAME OUT from God. John 17:8 For I have given unto them the words which thou gavest me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I CAME OUT from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me. We have clear word of Christ on his birth and origin. |
Maximus69:Hebrews 1:4 Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they. Hebrews 1:5 For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son? Hebrews 1:6 And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him. Hebrews 1:7 And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire. Hebrews 1:13 But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool? Facts to note. * Jesus was BEGOTTEN by God * His sonship was by Inheritance. * His name which is more excellent than those of Angels and that name is God. *In verse 4 of Hebrews 1 we can see that Jesus is not an Angel becos he was made(BEGOTTEN) higher than Angels. Hebrews 1:3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; |
Maximus69:John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John 1:2 The same was in the beginning with God. As we can see that Jesus(word) was with God at the beginning of time(creation of the World). And Jesus who is also called the word was also called God. This verse proves that Jesus is not an Angel or was he created an Angel but rather he is the Son of God begotten by God and hence he is also God by nature and not an Angel. Other Bible verses to consider. John 1:18 No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him. John 1:34 And I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of God. |
Maximus69:How can God call or name Jesus God, if Jesus was an Angel(a created being)? Note it was Satan's desire to be God that lead to the war in Heaven and now on Earth, so how would God the Father allow an Angel to share the glory which he did not want to give or share with Satan? Inorder words will God deny Satan from receiving worship only for him to give it to another Angel(Jesus). |
Maximus69:This verse proves beyond doubt that Jesus is not an angel but the son of God. Philippians 2:5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: 2:6 Who, being in the FORM of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: 2:7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: 2:8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. It says that Jesus was in FORM of God that is he has the nature, substance and image of God. Only one born by God call have attributes of God. No angel has the FORM of God. 2:9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: 2:10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; 2:11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. |
Maximus69:Abraham and Isaac were a typology of God and his Son Jesus Christ Just as Abraham was willing to sacrifice his only BEGOTTEN Son Isaac, to God. So also God was willing and gave his only BEGOTTEN Son to die for humanity. Both were Begotten by their respective parents. Hebrews 5:5 So also Christ glorified not himself to be made an high priest; but he that said unto him, Thou art my Son, to day have I begotten thee. Hebrews 11:17 By faith Abraham, when he was tried, offered up Isaac: and he that had received the promises offered up his only begotten son, |
Maximus69:Sorry but begotten means to procreate, you are trying to change God's word to suit your church beliefs rather than change your church beliefs to suit or confirm to God's word. https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/beget beget verb be·get | \ bi-ˈget , bē-\ begot \ bi-ˈgät , bē- \ also begat \ bi-ˈgat , bē-\ ; begotten \ bi-ˈgä-tᵊn , bē-\ or begot ; begetting Definition of beget : to procreate as the father : SIRE // He died without begetting an heir. 1 : to produce especially as an effect or outgrowth // Violence only begets more violence. Genesis 17:20 And as for Ishmael, I have heard thee: Behold, I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly; twelve princes shall he beget, and I will make him a great nation. Genesis 48:6 And thy issue, which thou begettest after them, shall be thine, and shall be called after the name of their brethren in their inheritance. Deuteronomy 4:25 When thou shalt beget children, and children's children, and ye shall have remained long in the land, and shall corrupt yourselves, and make a graven image, or the likeness of any thing, and shall do evil in the sight of the LORD thy God, to provoke him to anger: Deuteronomy 28:41 Thou shalt beget sons and daughters, but thou shalt not enjoy them; for they shall go into captivity. 2 Kings 20:18 And of thy sons that shall issue from thee, which thou shalt beget, shall they take away; and they shall be eunuchs in the palace of the king of Babylon. |
Maximus69:Don't contradict yourself, you need to allow the Bible to explain it self. Since Angels are sons of God as you said, why is Jesus called only BEGOTTEN Son? considering the fact that there are uncountable numbers of Angels. |
Maximus69:I want you to tell me in your own words what makes Jesus better or higher than (other, as you assume)Angels |
Maximus69:l Let me get you, your argument is that Jesus is an Angel conferred with the title son of God and not the son of God by act of procreation? |
Maximus69:In your own words what does Begotten mean? |
Maximus69:Your idealogy that Jesus is an Angel of God who God annoited as his son is untrue and cannot be proven in the Bible. Here God is laying emphasis on the fact that Jesus is his literal Son. If you do not confess Jesus is the Son of God then you are separated from God. “Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God , God dwelleth in him, and he in God. ” 1 John 4:15 . And again, “Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God? ” 1 John 5:5 And if you deny Jesus is the Son of God and that God gave His literal Son then you make God a liar and you do not have eternal life. “ He that believeth on the Son of God has the witness in himself: he that believeth not God has made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son. And this is the record, that God has given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that has the Son has life; and he that has not the Son of God has not life. ” 1 John 5:10-12 “But these are written, that you might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing you might have life through his name . ” John 20:31 |
solite3:Nothing stops John from telling us that God gave himself. John concludes by writing, “Many other signs therefore Jesus also performed … but these have been written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God. ” John 20:30-31 John did not write “that you may believe that Jesus was God. ” If that were so, it would have been far greater for John to proclaim that Jesus is God rather than that He is the Son of God. |
Maximus69:If God gave an Angel to redeem man than John 3:16 becomes invalid. That calls into question God's love for his creations. 16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. But God gave his only begotten Son, there is a reason for the emphasis that God loved the World so much that he gave his only BEGOTTEN SON and not an Angel conferred with the title of a son. Romans 8:32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? |

solite3:That's not true. You cannot interpret God's word the way you like it. begotten adjective Definition of begotten (Entry 2 of 2) : brought into existence by or as if by a parent // "He didn't send his only begotten son through a whirlwind …" If God can create plants and Amoeba that can reproduce by Asexual reproduction meaning that they don't need any partner inorder to bear their kind than why will it be impossible for God to beget his kind or is their anything difficult for God to do? All through the Bible the word begot implies Father or parent procreating a child. |

Maximus69:Jesus was born by God he has God's very nature and substance, he is Son of God by birth. But Angels are sons of God by creation. Remember that Angels cannot receive worship or praise but Jesus did. Secondly Jesus shared glory and honor with his father before the World began this was a very long time before he was sent into the World. The relationship of Jesus to God is very important to our salvation that it is repeatedly emphasized in the Bible that God gave his ONLY BEGOTTEN SON. The words there Only ,Begotten , Son, cannot be wished away they mean every single letter of what they stand for. www.trinitytruth.org/ |
Maximus69:You still ignore the fact that the Bible said Jesus was begotten by God. John 3:16 New International Version (NIV) 16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. As you can see from that verse that Jesus was the son of God before he was sent to the World to die. No angel was qualified to pay for the ransom for man's except the Son if God. Revelation 4:2 And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne. 4:3 And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald. 4:4 And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold. 4:5 And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices: and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God. 4:6 And before the throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal: and in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, were four beasts full of eyes before and behind. Revelation 5:1 And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals. 5:2 And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof? 5:3 And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon. 5:4 And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon. 5:5 And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof. 5:6 And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth. 5:7 And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne. 5:8 And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints. |
Maximus69:Jesus is more than an Angel he is the Son of God by birth. Angels don't bear God's nature and divinity but Jesus bears it, this is because he was born by God. John 8:42 Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me. John 16:28 I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go to the Father. Remember Jesus is an Express image of his father no angel has that capacity. The Bible says Jesus, Colossians 1:15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. He is the Son of God by Inheritance, that is it is his birthright. Hebrews 1:4 Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they. No angel can be as righteous as God himself the only being that was qualified to die for our sins was Jesus because been the child of God he had the nature of God which cannot sin. Job 4:18 Behold, he put no trust in his servants; and his angels he charged with folly: In summary JESUS was the son of God even before the world was made and before he came into this World. |
LeMoor:The greatest conflict to ever occur in the entire Universe is the conflict of Good &Evil(God & Satan) everyliving that has ever existed has been a partaker in this conflict . The question is how did this conflict start and why did God allow this conflict and Human suffering did God create Evil what is God's plan and purpose for the Universe? We will look at this issues critically with the Bible as our guide. In the begining God made the Heavens(Universe) and the entire hosts of Heaven, Gensis1:1 the entire Universe were governed by Divine laws of God (Law of love) which ensured perfect peace and Harmony in the entire Universe so long as all created beings acknowledged & observed and loved God's law there was peace it was joy and delight of the Heavenly Host to fufill the purpose of their creator they delighted in reflecting his glory and praising him, that was all God required in return for his gift of freewill to all his creations for God took no pleasure in forced obedience/ alliagance. Sin(breaking of God's Divine Laws) originated from One (Satan/Lucifer) who was next to Jesus in Power,Honour & glory. Using what we call symbolism God asked Prophet Ezekiel to prophicse against Satan(King of Tyrus) Ezekiel 28:12 Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus and say unto himThus saith the Lord GOD;Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty. 28:13 Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created. 28:14 Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire. 28:15 Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee. 28:16 By the multitude of thy merchandise thou have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire. 28:17 Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee. 28:18 Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee. From this Bible verse we can see that Lucifer was one of the covering Cherub who stood in the presence of God,he was created perfect, beautiful and had great power and Authority but he desired the throne of God his maker, rather than exalt God he desired his own exaltation, inorder to acheive his selfish desire Satan accused God before the angels of been selfish desiring praise from his creations why not willingly to make any sacrifice for others. He attacked God's divine laws as been too restrictive and unattainable, he used decit & lies to challenge God's authority & Soveriegnity over the Universe pretending to be fighting for all the Host of the Heaven but he was fighting for his selfish desire to become like God. Isaiah14:12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! 14:13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: 14:14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. 14:15 Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit. 14:16 They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms; 14:17 That made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; that opened not the house of his prisoners? Satan accusation against God's divine law can be also be found in Job1:6-21 and in Genesis3:1Where he told Eve you shall not die contrary to God's command to Adam and Eve that they will die if they ate from the tree of knownledge. Genesis 3:4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: 3:5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. Satan also uses false myths like Darwnism,Evolution, bigbang and all false religeons to blind people from knowning the truth about God even in christendom Satan's influence can be seen in wrong teachings like the worship of mary,Clergy men, sunday worship, teachings of immortality of the Soul,an Eternal Hell fire, fake prophets and pastors, fake miracles e.t.c all this are done to decieve people he promises freedom(irony bondage) claiming that people will be free if they disregard God's laws. today most drug addicts, sex perverts, money chasers, serial killers, masturbaters and other vices can attest to the fact that they are enslaved or are in bondage to sin. Legalisation of same-sex marriage,Feminism,Socialism, communilism, multiculturalism are part of the Devils agenda to acheive a United world government with him as the Head in rebellion against God. From the book of isaiah14:12 we can see that it is the Devil who weakens the Nations he is responsible for all the calamity and suffering that has ever befallen Man. God could have destroyed Satan than, but it could have caused most Heavenly beings to serve God out of fear rather than love secondly Satan accusations against God could have seemed true to other heavenly beings. God is a god of love,Justice,& truth. Deut.32:3-4 Justice requires a defendant to present fully his case for all to see and judge hence God allowed Satan to continue to exist and show his true nature & motive. This rebellion in Heaven by Satan lead to war and disharmony in Heaven. In luke10:18 & Rev12:7-9 we are told that the Devil with 1/3angels of Heaven he decieved were cast out of Heaven to Earth. When God made man, Satan desired to enlist Man to his side in his rebellion against God this he successed in doing by convincing Eve &Adam to eat from the tree of knowledge of good and bad, which God forbid them not to touch or eat. Man lost his Dominion over the Earth Genesis1:26-28 to Satan as a result of Man's sin Satan became the god of this world john14:3 Satan's rulership of this world is what we see today in form of wars,Chaos, famine, corruption, genocide, earthquakes, injustice, poverty as we read before he weakens the Nations. It was imperative for God to allow all this to happen inorder to unreval the true nature of Satan and to show the entire Universe what the Universe will be like when things are done outside his divinelaws, Psalms 19:7 The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple. 19:8 The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes. 19:9 The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether. like i said before Justice requires that a defendant(Satan) will fully present his case. Numbers 14:18 The LORD is LONGSUFFERING and of great mercy, forgiving iniquity and transgression.God only intervenes to avoid the total destruction of man under Satan's rule.God was willingly to make the greatest Sacrifice ever made he gave his Son's life as a ransom for the fallen world.john3:6. Since divine law prescribes death for its offenders only the death of Jesus could rescue Humanity. God has proved to all the Universe his love & just nature he has proved his selfless nature by giving his Son's life for his creations & also that his divine laws are immutable and are there for the benefit of all the inhabitants of the Universe. In Conclusion God has allowed all this to happen out of his loving and just nature so that all his creations can appreciate his gift of freewill. God has promised to destory Satan,Sin and all the sufferings it brings.mal 4:1 & Ezeikel 28:18-19. He has promised to do everything new. Isaiah 65:17 For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind. You can be a partaker of God's divine plan by accepting Jesus . |
solite3:No one said Jesus was an Angel, as usual you ignore the this very words of God. "this day have I begotten thee" does begotten look like someone who is co-eternal? How come an Co-eternal Jesus gets life from his father ? John 5:26 For as the Father has life in himself; so has he given to the Son to have life in himself; |
