SmartProf: Just imagine the audacity and capabilities of 'technically defeated terrorists'. If the Chadian Army brought these idiots to their knees, I still wonder why with all our python dance steps, our army can't crush them down permanently. Gov. Zulum needs to be careful cos it appears he has become a prime target for the terrorists, but no weapon fashioned against him shall prosper. There is a difference in face to face battle and guerilla warfare. Our Military is not deploying the right strategy of intelligence and counter-attack. Though the situation also suggests that the military aren't just ready to end it because of the juice they are drinking from it. |

Was there any reasonable allowance given during this period. If not DUFIL should be santioned for the periods before lockdown was lifted. The period after lockdowns, they should be made to pay severely for that. Rather than for them to place monitoring and sanitizing mechanisms in place they decide to enslav. Anyways I do not blame them because that is how their governments treat them |

Never took to your heels when a police officer approaches you as long as you are not wanting by the law or have incriminating objects or articles on you. All you need to do is identify and explain yourself.. Of course avoid unGodly hours. If they request you follow them to the station, do so and demand to contact your family and lawyer. Always accord them respect. |

Well, people do rubbish because our justice system is rubbish!
If organizations, institutions and citizens know that they can be sued/punished/penalized for acting against what is acceptable, we will have less of absurd actions like this. People need to start using the law effectively whatever the case is |

wunmi590: Good day nairalanders,
Sorry I have to write this, I have decided to keep it to myself but, I decided to let it out.
Just like every other job seekers who are looking for jobs either to switch to a better pay or change environment.
Though I have been out of job since the COVID-19 pandemic started, I worked in a retail company, but since we have not been called back, I decided to search for job.
I saw an advert and decided to submit my application, just like every other people, luckily after one week or two, I got a mail that I have been shortlisted for their online test and after I pass, I will move to the next stage which is virtual interview before coming to their office to sign my employment letter.
After the mail, like 3 days I got a mail containing my ogin and password for the test, fiam, I opened and I did the test.
After like another 3days, I got a mail from them that I passed the test and i should be expecting a whatsap call from one of their head office in Europe.
Luckily I got the call, from one of the European country number from a Nigerian, believing is the call that would change my life forever.
After the normal introduction and other things like the job functions, the real bible questions started which I was able to scale through it.
Towards the end of the virtual interview, the last question was are you a born again Christian, have you been baptised and what denomination are you?.
And I said yes I'm a born again Christian, I've been baptised and I'm a Roman Catholic.
At the end of my speech his response was, is not possible to be a Catholic and be born again.
He said once you were not taken to the river to be baptised that's not a baptism.
Catholics are not born again Christians and I'm not baptised too just because I was not taken to the river to be baptised.
His last statement was, you actually have the experience but, we need other denomination not Catholic that the job entails somebody who is a real born again Christian.
That was how I lost the job, thinking today being my birthday, I will go to church and do special thanks giving. Obviously it's a religion related job, and I do not expect them to do ortherwise. |

wunmi590: Lala, please come and help me to push this to front page.
If we Christian's don't like each other and we begin to segregate between denomination, I don't see why this country won't divide into two.
I wanted to let it slide that is one of those things when job hunting, but I just have to let the cat out of the bag, because I don't want to start thinking about it as today is my birthday, I need to free my mind. There's no where in the bible where sprikles or partial baptism was done. Since we are after christ, full immersion only counts |

Romance › Re: She Still Loves Her Ex. What Do I Do? by Bluffly: 4:37am On Sep 13, 2020 |
Nomorelove: Hello everyone, I'm a 24 year old guy and there is this nice lady I met two months back and ever since then, I've really been happy. Truth is we aren't in a relationship yet but have spoken about our feelings for each other.
I really planned on settling down with her and likewise her but something happened today that got me in a state of dilemma. So she had to talk to her ex because of something really important and all of a sudden, she told me she still has feelings for him deep down and talking to him after a year of breakup has brought it all back and hopes that they'll be together someday... I was like "Am I dreaming?" (I said that within me).
She went on and on and I immediately started shaking like literally. I couldn't speak for a while and she noticed nothing at all. I'm really dumbfounded right now. Her ex was even the one that broke up with her... Why are girls really confused these days? She has told me countless times about how she feels towards me so I have no idea why this is happening all of a sudden.
I think it'll be in my best interest to cut of all ties with her because I can't face what has happened and I'll be hurting myself by deciding to remain friends with her. What do I do?
Critics are most welcome You should have replied her immediately that it is best she takes her time to fast and pray to have her ex back and stop wasting your time |
