Celebrities › Re: Charly Boy Disgraces Okorocha At Oputa’s Burial Over N20M For Arrangements by Boss13: 12:15pm On Jun 28, 2014
eaglechild: Rochas should have known better than to lie shamelessly infront of Charly boy whom everyone knows has a knack for negative publicity.
Exactly. Some people may take it quietly and call the governor a liar in their heart/mind. But I like charlie boy's reaction. It smells of bravery. Our useless politicians must stop all their deceits. This clearly shows that okorocha may not be doing all those things he said he would do. Actually I was in owerri last two weeks and I saw nothing.

Wicked people.
Celebrities › Re: Charly Boy Disgraces Okorocha At Oputa’s Burial Over N20M For Arrangements by Boss13: 12:06pm On Jun 28, 2014
Abagworo: I was so ashamed yesterday. Charlie boy acted like a small boy and a stupid one for that matter. It was obvious that all the politicizing bullsh*t he has been emphasizing on was directed towards Okorocha and not PDP. He spoilt his father's burial by being obviously partisan. As PDP dignitary was allowed to talk but Oguta people wanted Owelle to talk as hailings of Owelle was too much. Even at that Okorocha still laughed it off and greeted him warmly with smiles before leaving and his departure led most of the people out of the service angry with Charles.
If you have actually buried a loved one, you will understand that the oputa family is going through a hard time at this moment. I will do the same if I was Charlie Boy. Even if you gave money or not must you highlight that when giving tribute to a dead person. It is very disrespectful to the bereaved family and more disrespectful when you are lying about it just so you can be popular.

Charlie boy was angered and he has every right to be. His method of calling out the governor may be crude, uncouthed and disrespectful, but that is what okorocha deserves for disrespecting the oputa family, lying in public and politicking rather than paying tribute to a great man.
Politics › Re: Cbn Sanusi: What Manner Of Feudal Arrogance Is That? by Boss13: 9:37pm On Jan 10, 2014
validplanet: u think raising a false alarm is patriotism?

if everybody starts raising false alarm, hw good wld it look?

he should be investigated and prosecuted
Sanusi did not raise a false alarm. Monies were not remitted. True he did not get the figures correctly because the figures for other agencies that receives oil revenues on behalf of the NNPC was not considered.

Now note this, the letter was sent to the president in September 2013, the president did not bother to do anything about it. The letter was in the full knowledge of the NNPC, Min. Of Finance, Presidency and other important govt ministries. However, nothing was done till Obasanjo accused the president about it in his open letter and also Sanusi's letter was released to the public.

Though I do not support Sanusi's insubordination, the cold feet by the president to act on the letter speaks a lot about his commitment to the development of this country. He is yet to sanction those who failed to remit public funds to the federation account but wants Sanusi to leave office. Haba GEJ
Politics › Re: Cbn Sanusi: What Manner Of Feudal Arrogance Is That? by Boss13: 9:02pm On Jan 10, 2014
I agree with you on some points but I also differ on others.

I agree with you on Sanusi's insubordination. It is totally out of hand. On the other hand, the president too did not act right.

Firstly, we cannot prove that Sanusi leaked the letter. However, we are clear that he copied other persons which the president is fully aware of. Also, I wonder why Sanusi would decide to write a letter when he can walk up to the president or call him on phone to brief him of his findings. Sanusi's actions may indicate two things - his relationship with the president may have broken down or the president is known not to take important issues serious.

Secondly, the president should have laid low and take action like he did in appointing a reconciliation committee. He should have played the issue to his strength except he is part of the culprits involved in the missing funds. From his actions, the president is quick to take decisions on hearsay and gossips from aides than to look at issues objectively.

Thirdly, the president must begin to identify mules in his cabinet. Persons who are out to undermine his authority. He must exact authority and stop playing caricature with his office. If he is known to sanction his cabinet members when they go wrong, I believe Sanusi will not try to behave the way he did.

As for Sanusi, though he acted within his civic duties and I assume in good faith to inform the president his concerns about the economy, he has also acted wrongly in defying the president's instruction. Sanusi claimed that the president's intention is to ruin his reputation. However, Sanusi has also ruin his reputation by his actions. People in authority will be wary of him as it is known that to create conflict when his opinions differs.

Please guys read this news on punch. Her wikipedia page was edited 19 times between 1.56pm and 5:05pm on Tuesday. Why edit your page so frequent after the news broke out? Also, Linda confirmed that her Facebook page was edited too.

Why are people fighting so hard to protect this B^ITCH of a minister that is embarrassing the prominent and progressive Ibo race.

Politics › Re: My Take On Stella Oduah's Fake MBA Degree - Femi Fani-kayode by Boss13: 3:01pm On Jan 08, 2014
SeaGold: Stella Odua is responsible and accountable to the office of the PRESIDENT, her employer. She has no business with the SENATE or any agency of government.

She is a graduate which is the benchmark stipulated by the constitution for an individual to hold top public/ political office. Adding other professional certificates to her resume is and never the prerequisite for the monumental/infrastructure development in all the airports across the nation we are witnessing courtesy of her brilliance and effort.

But seriously why the hate on IBO ministers particularly when they seem to be performing and doing things right.

Barth Nnaji was thrown out for the cabals to continue their fraud.

Festus Odimegwu was thrown out for promising to conduct a credible census
Please do not tagged this with tribe. She has fooled the nation with this allegation and with previous allegations levied against her. If you think being a graduate automatically qualifies her for the ministerial appointment, then why did she decide to go through the stress to fool herself by adding a fake M.Sc degree? Also, how about work experience? Does she have an experience in aviation? Little wonder all she does is aesthetic works on our airport lounge to hide the decay just like she applies heavy makeup to her face to hide the deceit she stores inward.

Guess what! The aviation industry is rotten away because we have an inexperience and incompetent madam at the helm of affairs and our president still consider her worthy to continue to occupy that position. May God save Nigeria.

Sometimes I wonder why people pick on or hate saharareporters. For me, they are doing a very good job. I just don't want them to become a political tool for some politicians who have scores to settle. They should, however, place their spot lights on all public officers and let the general public know their leaders.

Well done saharareporters.

bukatyne: @OP:

Your thread would have had the desired impact if it was not too emotional and tilting against logic.

If we go the traditional route that a man provides, he only does so for his wife. Once they are divorced, they become familiar strangers.

Truth is I have never understood the need for divorce settlement except for a stay at home mom due to uncontrolable circumstances or couples who have joint investment. Patrimony? Yes

A man only owes his ex wife if he caused the divorce and the wife has joint investment with him or geninuely cannot survive on her own.

A wife who cheated the hibby and wants to part ways should also do.same

I guess we all should drop this entitlement mentality
Beautifully written. I just don't get the OP. She is immature to the realities of life and has seen so many western movies.
Politics › Re: Nigeria Named As One Of The Next Economic Giants? by Boss13: 2:53pm On Jan 06, 2014
All these indices are good and makes you feel proud. The world is really watching. I attended a World Leaders Summit last year organised by London Business School in London and one of the facilitators was really talking about Nigeria being an African frontier for economic development and that they are closely following the economic trends in Nigeria.

What we need to do is get our politics right and put in the right leaders who can achieve these indices.

I hope he cautions himself next time. That was an expensive joke and an indirect endorsement of rape. Because rape cases are not given the necessary attention here that is why some young immature men will come out here to say it's a joke.

On the other hand, don't impress ladies with money. If a girl wants to sleep with you, she will and not because you are spending on her.
Politics › Re: Abuja And Lagos: Tale Of Two Cities by Boss13: 12:07pm On Jan 05, 2014
I don't know the bases for this thread. In my opinion, I feel the OP is comparing Abuja and Lagos. Well, I think such comparison is wrong. Abuja is the only organised city in the country. Most things work there (water, good road network, semi-contant power supply etc). Lagos on the other hand is a menace, an eye sore and a dump pit. Lagos ranks amongst the worst cities to live.

holyvirgin: Really? May be you should tell us why GEJ is a threat to you guys in the SW.
Talk is cheap and you should keep your opinion to yourself.
Yeye dey smell undecided
The bolded comment is tribalistic and a reflection of your core mind which is subconsciously immersed in hatred. Hatred generated by geographical manipulations of the british empire. FYI I am a Nigerian first and foremost.

Now to answer your question, take a look at yourself and the way you continue to instigate ethnicity hatred either directly or indirectly. That is what our president is doing with his presidential ambition. True, he has the constitutional right to contest the 2015 election. However, he reached an agreement that he would only run for ONE TERM. Now his body language indicates that he may breach the agreement and as a result, the PDP is experiencing some turbulence. Some ethnic groups are threatening brimstones and fire if the president is not allowed to contest, other ethnic groups are requesting the president to honour the agreement.

Now our president must know that National interest supersede personal interests and ambitions. He as a responsible leader must consider the unity of the country, of whose affairs he controls and make responsible decisions that will not throw this country to the flames.

Sincere 9gerian: Tinubu dogs are clearly at work in Lagos- destroying Lagos gas pipelines and punishing innocent citizens just to discredit govt and advance the selfish political ambition and expand the political territories of Tinubu.
Sincere nigerian, I respect the fact that you stand by GEJ even through his lapses. However, can you do so without insults. I don't know how old you are but I believe only kids insults. If you want to argue, do so skillfully and be objective.

I am not an APC advocate, neither will I support a government that do not consider the general interest of the populace. I was of the opinion of voting for GEJ, irrespective of his sins, if only he can resolve the power situation in the country. However, I have considered that GEJ should go for the unity of this country to continue. His presidential ambition is a threat to this country.

Imagine if they had started something with that call and with the backing they have now from Gej where they would be. They have to show they are doing something before others can join in to push it to completion. Politics › Re: CRAMJONES Clarification Of Events So Far by Boss13: 8:44am On Jan 03, 2014
Sincere 9gerian: That is your personal opinion, which you'r entitled to.
They are not my personal opinions but what we have seen, perceived and felt. I have no personal grudges with Mr. President or personal scores to settle. He still remains my president but I am afraid that his continue existence in office might reap our country apart.

It was not my opinion when the president, during his media chat, told Nigerians that he does not give a damn about declaring his assets. Did he declare his assets after Nigerians requested him to?

It has to take Mr. President series out public outcry before he visited the north-east. Mr. President told us that terrorism is a world wide disease and we should not be perturbed. What's more serious about our own kind of terrorism is that it is our brothers in the north that are causing the mayhem and not people in afghanistan or iraq.

OBJ has been sending the president series of letter, drawing his attention to national issues. He ignored them. However, he decided to reply, and not act, on the content of the OBJ's open letter. Sanusi too wrote the president since September 2013. This letter too found the same presidential trash bin as others but when the letter got to the media, the president quickly constituted a hurriedly formed committee to reconcile the account. But remember $10bn is still not remitted.

Do I need to breakdown Stella Oduah's public scandal. Rather than hand her over to the EFCC for interrogation, my own president constituted another committee to investigate the matter. Now sincere Nigerian, are these members of the committee police officers? Do they possess the pre requisite skills to conduct investigations?

Let's move over to the issue between amaechi and the president. How can our president, who is suppose to be the chief security officer of the country, watch the break down of law and order in rivers state without calling to order the instigators. Even his cabinet member is part of the group.

What do you want me to do? Vote for him and expect more dramas?

Can we abandon tribalism and ethnicity and do what is right for once. I don't care about the identity of cramjones and I don't want to know anymore. What I know is that -

I will never vote for a president who never gives a damn to declare his assets.

I will never vote for a president who is insensitive and does not give a damn about the lives of Nigerians.

I will never vote for a president whose rule of law on corruption is to allow aides and cabinet members go about their business instead of handing them over to anti-corruption grafts.

I will never vote for a president who disregard the rule of law by using security apparatus to fight his enemies e.g river state

I will never vote for a president who as leader of his party cannot resolve internal crisis within its political party but choose to allow internal crisis become public and media frenzy.

I will never vote for a president who will not attend to issue raised up by interested or non-interested parties but will turn around when these issues leak to the public e.g OBJ's letter & Sanusi's letter.

I will never vote for a president whose utterances and body language are dissimilar to each other and who continues to instigate people to divide this great country of ours along religious and ethnic lines.

Jonathan I will never vote for you come 2015 whenever you declare or not. I will never vote for you.

Our president comes on national TV to tell the whole world that boko haram is Nigeria's share of world terrorism and we should accept it. I do not know if he has balls or how big they are, I am only disgusted about his utterances and body language. I need a president who feels highly remorse when a Nigerian dies as a result of boko haram and not one who feels it is business as usual.

Would the state governor count this as one of his achievements? I am ashamed at the level of stupi*dity our leaders display. Building an inter domination church with public funds. To me this is a way to launder public funds into private hands.
