Does anybody have relevant information about them. I got admission in 2008 but I declined the admission because of cost and I had no working experience. I also want to know how relevant they are to recruiting firms in Nigeria.

AjanleKoko: @OP,
LBS is the best business school this side of the planet (West Africa).
Don't even waste your time with MBAs from any Federal or State Uni in Nigeria.

But LBS is as expensive as a UK MBA mind you embarassed
Not true Lagos Business School is over N3million, while London Business School is over N15million.

Politics › Re: British-born Michael Adeboloja Labelled A Nigerian: Why? by Boss13: 4:53pm On May 23, 2013
That guy is more british than Nigerian. You are a product of your society and your environment. I think it is sickening for the British media to label him more of a Nigerian than a British citizen. They, British media, are stereotyping Nigerians and I think Nigerians in the UK should start playing their own game by denouncing any criminal minded Nigerian.

Foreign Affairs › Re: British Soldier Beheaded In Woolwich, London by Boss13: 9:47am On May 23, 2013
I read the comments on this thread, nothing but pure stu*pidity running off the mouth of people. Doing a comparison between Nigerians living in the UK to the US. Of what essence is it to the African soul? Of what importance is it to Nigerians in diapora and Nigerians at home. We forget that foreigners (even journalist) visit this forum to get a glimpse of the Nigerian view. Africans have been subjected to slavery, colonalism and now neglect. What we should be promoting or talking about is the rise of Africans to prove to the world that we can do good for ourselves and not to share stories of africans perpetrating more crimes worldwide.

alnaijiri: If you believe in your religion, anyone who doesn't is by definition an infidel. I believe that Islam is the way God our Creator wants us to live our lives. So, if one isn't a Muslim, one isn't fulfilling the will of God. It has nothing to do with respect. I may respect you, but if you are not a Muslim, then you are an infidel.

To Muslims, it is an intolerable shame to be ruled by infidels and live under the jurisdiction of non-sharia laws. Since God created this world, we should follow His laws and not those of man.
Your post brought nothing but tears to my eyes. I believe you are african, hence the reason you are here. Do you know that Islam, Christainity were borrowed and were politically instigated. Do you know that as africans we have our own heritage and culture but were forced to accept the dogmas in islam and christainity. Please go and do some research to your religion and see the atrocities committed to mankind.

To round up, religion has done more harm than good to mankind. Also, as an african, religion has wiped away my heritage and culture.

Dee60: Can Fulanis stop grazing on people's farmlands? This is 2013. For how long would they remain nomads?

Nigerians do not realize that this is potentially another BH matter! Powerful elements in Nigeria are rallying behind the Fulanis and that is giving them the guts to continue to graze around, even on other people's farms. Why make money destroying other people's means of livelihood? There must be a solution.

This group would not have been if farmlands were not grazed. I dont want to take sides but there should be a solution for this grazing. The Fulanis need to buy land and keep ranches, or FG should buy for them. I also will not accept if I am a farmer and all my crop is destroyed by travelling nomads. Not in 2013, please!
Beautiful!!! States need to enact laws allows herdsmen from entering their state. I was driving and to my utmost surprise I was driving side by side with cattles on the roads in Lagos. I was scared to death because any little movement by either me or the cattles I am gone. Also, infringement into other people's property is a crime and these herdsmen should be made aware of it. This is 2013, there are modernized ways of feeding these animals

compressor: Nigerian are fools just making comments and arriving at jaundiced conclusions without seeing pictures or evidences of the destruction ongoing in the areas where the military are operating. We need to be careful how or what we wish for as the military has shown themselves time and over again to be untrustworthy in handling both affairs of state and such security challenges.
You do not need to insult an entire people of a country in order to express an opinion. Nigerians do not need to go to war front for evidence. What Nigerians want is peace in the North and that is why the military has been deployed to the North. If the military carry out excessive practices, I believe civil societies and humanitarian organisation would be the voice. For now we need the end of Boko Haram era.

Politics › Re: Lagos Jails 120 Beggars, Deport 1,708 Others To Their States by Boss13: 1:31pm On May 17, 2013
I was having this same discussion with some of my colleagues. It is a security risk to have beggars on the street. Many of us who probably might be priviledge than this beggars do not understand this and also do not understand that as we have the urge to grow, so also do beggars and when they do not see that opportunity, frustration sets in and also the by-product which is crime. You cannot be in an air-conditioned vehicle and a expect a beggar to be happy with you handing him a N20 bill.

Being poor starts from the mind. Once your mind conceptualize and accepts, it thens becomes your dogma and anything you do reflects poverty.

This is a welcome development and well applauded. I would also encourage the Government to put out programs to those who want to change but Beggars must leave the roads.
