Celebrities › Re: Open Letter To DJ Cuppy By Iamsynord by Boss13: 4:36pm On Nov 14, 2018
I think she is a young confused lady still exploring what exactly she wants to do with her life. She likes fame and she has gotten it. However, she wants to stay relevant and now a sucker for attention - very common with famous people. Disco Jockey won’t compensate for the level of attention she is seeking and some doubters continue to question her authenticity and originality. Hence, she feels music will cut it for her.

In my opinion, she is mixing with the wrong crowd. She already has a rich father/source of capital. If she really like music, open a record company and studio and stamp your name on it. She should quickly reject advices telling her to continue. It may destroy her brand and people won’t take her serious and will only refer her as Femi Otedola’s daughter.

You should leave ASAP but make sure you are going to a top school. Target at least top 50 and spread your tenticles. Look also to schools in the USA and research on scholarships. I used to be one of those that believed in Africa and would always talk people out of leaving but after I saw Italy my perspective just changed. We in Nigeria are living like animals and no amount of money can change this. Leave if not for your sake, for your children's sake. They would forever be grateful.
Living like animals - that’s a strong descriptive word to use. I think it’s offensive.

But why is the common weapon of attack always trying to put the other person down as a new migrant or JJC. It’s very distasteful please. Especially on a thread dedicated to help such people. You are not better than someone simply because you migrated before they did.
Because the other person is also insecure. Did you not read about two grown-ups exchanging words over airlines they don’t own.

When you get to Canada, you’d see some quality brands. However, lay-up with what you have.

Exactly! I mean she just wanted to feel at home with Nigerians. She wanted nothing from them but just kinship. I mean when she told me what happened, i felt really sorry. She feeds and shelter these people who have been around so long before she arrived. I mean one just have to be careful with who you hang around with and be careful not to review your secret.
Why do I have a problem with this story. Did you hear from the other parties involved?

Why can't Nigerian be independent? You go to a new place and the next thing is "I want to meet Nigerians" and these same people will be the ones complaining that Nigerians abroad are bad.
Laugh - the irony right!!!! However, it’s important to blend with people you share similar cultures and values especially in a strange environment.

I stay in the GTA anyways and also looking for a guy man like myself

OP I think you have received sufficient advice on how to move on. Why I’m writing is because I wonder why an undergraduate is this money hungry instead of focusing on her education. This is why young girls chase around married men because they are greedy.

Is her parents not available and responsible for her education?
Celebrities › Re: Banky W Gushes Over His Wife, Adesua Etomi: You’re The One Thing I Got Right by Boss13: 11:43pm On Nov 13, 2018
This is immaturity. I don’t know if he was speaking to his wife, his wife’s friends, his friends or the public. If you want to appreciate your wife, do it privately and not on social media.

The medium of communication is inappropriate. If you want the public to know how much you love your wife, then let the public know.
This is not a valid reason to deny the young man an opportunity to join forces with our amiable and honorable politicians to loot the treasury dry.
Very valid reason indeed. If you don’t consider your country suitable enough to tie the knot, then you are not suitable enough to hold office. It is not by the words you judge people, but by their actions.

The same Banky W would not hesitate to have his medicals abroad. Sentiments apart, I don’t think he deserve political office

Hello good people in the house not to waste much time we have a good neighbor who parked out recently and was thinking our new neighbors would be better only for some low lives young boys of about 6 parking in (I dont need a prophet to tell me they are all Yahoo guys and ever since then it's been hell for me as it's just a two house joint bungalow)

they play musics on the highest volume from morning till night doing nothing meaningful, smoking high and just shouting like loosed animals have tried reaching out to my Landlord he came warned them and i've also tried voicing out to them but no changes hv seem to be in effect. mehn i'm really tired of all their shits have I ve taken to the net to search fr EFCC distress number in my state

I just need advice from people in the house cause i might on the other way round be shooting my self in the leg if I report those jobless rif rafts to EFCC having a fear EFCC might tip me out or just pack me among them
Is your landlord so hungry that he never bothered to conduct due diligence on his intended tenants before renting out his apartment. He should have requested for their source of livelihood and also the number of occupants

Foreign Affairs › Re: Men Shouldn’t Cook – Uganda President, Yoweri Museveni by Boss13: 2:30pm On Nov 06, 2018
I strongly stand by the President. I don’t cook except my wife is not available. I am an African man with respect for my African values and traditions. It defines and shapes me. I know I hear lots of Feminist talking. Equality doesn’t means role sharing. Equality means respect towards each other and not just to females alone.

Feminism doesn’t mean a man should do what women do or vice versa. There are specific things and roles designated for women and they are actually better in it than men. Feminism is not about power play, like what we are hearing and seeing in the media.

Finally, Feminism is a western weapon. Other civilizations has stood their grounds on their belief systems and not being influenced by Western culture.

I am an African man and I respect women.

Politics › Re: WAEC Certificate: Presidency Mocks PDP, Buhari’s Critics by Boss13: 12:49am On Nov 03, 2018
You call it mockery, I call it a disgrace to the President that his educational qualifications have been questioned by many Nigerians. Probably due to his ineptitude in getting things done. People only question your education when they observed that you are not academically sound and you behave in such light.

"The backlash was prompted by an article in The New York Times last week that revealed that Google had paid millions of dollars in exit packages to male executives accused of harassment, while staying silent about the transgressions".........I guess that is what really irked them!
They are there to work in the first place and contribute to the success of the company. Without google, their bills don’t get paid. If the company has taken action against the erring staff, I don’t understand the activism. If the protesting employees are not happy with the company’s action - LEAVE. Go get another job. What’s the nonsense with using productivity hours to protest on unproductive things.

In this #Metoo era, you just get to hear and see nonsense. People get punished on mere accusations. How about these alleged victims going to law enforcement officers to make an official complaint.

This is the best commercial strategy ever seen.

1.he is telling u that u can win big with proof
2.he is telling u that he pays ,no shaking
3.u re doing his advert FOC
He is also saying that he uses his company’s money to fund political campaigns - which actually is a wrong strategy. That company is not up to 10 years and it is funding elections with its cashflow. Well, he said somebody wants to send him to the village and I don’t think it’s the N24million winning ticket.

This shows the ease through which fear mongering and war mongering rhetorics has subtly been leveled in this our counter cultural society.

What 'satanic agenda'?
By?
People like this avoid common sense like a plague. I wonder what's really befitting in claiming victims in every commotion.

People like this sit down for long hours formulating a really dump WhatsApp BC propaganda.

“I have only heard of dusk to dawn curfew, but this time around, it is 24 hours, no movement anywhere within the state, including no church, is that not an anti-Christ agenda?"
.
You can see the above quoted statement has no iota of wisdom. Why should religious programs be carried out when there's a curfew? What's the reason for the curfew in the first place? Isn't it is ensure safety? What if they are attacked during the program despite being told there's a curfew? This man won't stop wailing.
I’m glad someone can reason logically beyond the rhetorics and religiousity warp around the statement

Vindicated how? If what they discussed runs against the belief of the Church he should be asked to leave.

No formal organization tolerates division.

Would a Zanitb Bamk staff go and appear on Fony Elunelu show, speak against UBE Bamk and expect to remain a staff there?

Abeg the guy should look for another Church where he can practise what he believes and stop all this blackmail.
You need to take out time to proofread your writings especially in public fora. It was difficult understanding what you intend to communicate. However, your analogy of comparing churches with banks indeed reveals a huge problem. If you fail to see your own comparison, then you have failed to see what the actual problem is.

Sad situation. I hope she is happy now. I believe her action was premeditated because she saved the video. She had time to think about it despite her lover’s plea. Her battle was with the wife and not the husband.

First thing I have to tell you, no one is perfect, nobody is a complete baggage. There are always defects and flaws. The question now is, can we live with those flaws?
Like someone posited up there, you do care about money period!
You can't change people. And marriage (time) amplifies people's character. So if someone is a jerk before marriage, he is gonna be a bigger jerk in marriage with time. You can take that to the bank. Before marriage there is so much dizzy feelings but after a lot of years, all those rush have died down, what is left is just that basic feeling of fondness, duty and commitment.
You seem fixated on looks. That also is a wrong parameter. Looks fade. Sometimes when I look at my self now and some pix of my undergraduate days, I just laff. Life has happened to me. I'm still good looking but...I'm no more that dashing athletic Guy lol
You need a man with a wonderful attitude not looks. Looks fade. So when the handsome look has been watered down by age and time what keeps u going?

U didn't mention the issue with ur ex so I can say anything. You best bet is the second guy. Most made men you see around started broke. What you should look out for is a man with drive and ambition. Someone who has plans and is a goal getter. enuf said.

Something tells me you are going to lose all three cos I don't see u going for the broke guy. All the same,. Best of luck!
I don’t think you can justify calling your present boyfriend immature if you are at this moment confused with making life decisions. Guess you ain’t matured either
