Ramos16:They have to listen to him preach. He sure understands the Bible better than this pastors or they do but don’t want their followers to understand |
Billyonaire:You write with deep insight and surely you have not learnt this from the Bible. Based on your comment, I can discern that you are on the path of self discovery. A spiritual path that only ready students undertake. It is surprisingly how people fight over religion when they have NO clue about the infinite consciousness and the essence of our being. People the knowledge of God is not in the Bible. Your pastors do not know God. They have no clue at all. |
beautiful232:He has his own church online. They don’t pay tithe or offering. He inspires his listeners to help the poor. He doesn’t solicit for donations and he actually tries to interpret the Bible properly. Something I think any discerning human being should be able to do. Freeze is passionate about correcting the errors preachers are circulating. He has said it is his mission to let people know that salvation is not through money, a trend now in Christianity. He was once a sheeple who decided to study the Bible thoroughly to understand its hidden meaning. In my own opinion, I think Freeze is still on a huge road to discover Self, but he is heading in the right direction. Finally, for your information, he preaches/teaches everyday on YouTube and Instagram (12noon - 1:30pm). That some of his comments circulate around is because bloggers are looking for what to eat. |
I have read some nice comments and some not so good ones, probably due to difference in opinion. However, I must commend the OP for sharing his experience. It was inspiring enough to rob me off my siesta. My final thought on this is below - - There is absolutely nothing wrong with marrying from a wealthy home. Though, spouses from wealthy homes often act differently, probably due to the nature of their upbringing and exposure. I think character is very important. Poor in-laws also have their own issues. - Marriage is not love, but love is a defining point in engaging into a contractual agreement to spend the rest of your life with a stranger. - Keep your marital affairs private. I can almost swear that not all marriages are perfect. The moment you involve external parties into your marital affair, you would begin to create problems. - Wealth is relative. I think the important virtue is contentment. Be progressive, be ambitious but be also contented with what you have at the moment. - Young men and Bachelors should seek to learn about marriage before jumping into it. Continuously obtain advice from people with successful marriages. - Women love comfort and security. Rather than secluding the aspect of providing for the home to the man, it would be better to partner with the husband to ensure that comfort at home is better. It also increases their involvement in family affairs. Marriage is teamwork |
HenryCavill:You must hate people who are honest. What the OP has written is nothing but an honest admission. That a man had the thought to slap his wife, but choose otherwise does not make him a devil rather a wise man irrespective of what conditions that made him to act otherwise. In fact, I enjoyed his writing and considered that part as one of his skills of story telling that indicates how angry he was. |
Kokaine:It is very important especially for Bachelors and men in early marriages. At one point in a marriage comes the adversity. To weather that storm and come out successfully together, is what I define as a good marriage. |
Kolababe:I agree with you 100%. Those making that kind of statements are those not living with a woman. If she didn’t love him, she would have left for her parent’s home. After all, they were more willingly to take her. She loves him, but also wants comfort. Would you blame or fault her for her decision to meet her parents, no I won’t. I would however blame the in-laws for not acting matured. Well, life can be ironic. So glad the OP got himself back. |
Trivia:You are a matured and wise man and possibly have deep analytical skills, because you were so close in losing your family. What you have written is nothing short but the truth. Wealth is very important with happiness and respect in a family. Infact a man with wealthy may choose to act the way he wants. I do not blame your wife from rushing to her parents for support, but I would blame her parents for not rendering sound advice, being that they too struggled before becoming rich. Also, they should be more matured party. I am also glad you were able to get your game going on and now you must quadruple your hustle because you know the outcome if you lose sight of the goal. Still have a healthy conversation with your wife about how you felt and how disappointed you were. If you can, have a healthy discussion with your in-laws, now that the respect is back. If possible, limit your in-laws interference in your family affair. Learnt from your experience too. I wish you the best of luck and a fulfilling marriage. |
Apination:You Comment like someone who is not married. The poster has given a very valuable advice from his experience. Reading this you can decipher from a man who is matured and understands consequences. Learn from him |
I thought he prayed this exact prayer last year and the year before that. Is this a new re-enactment for 2018? |
delugajackson:You don’t need to get drunk to make a decision. If alcohol is required for your decision making, then you need some growing up to do. |
It is ironic that this kind of message has found its way to the public and just like every sensationalism in this country, it is being supported by those who either gain directly or indirectly from its impact. It is information like this that continue to allows these fraudsters with bible continue to dupe, molest and pry on vulnerable Nigerians. First, the Bible has made it clear on what Christianity is all about and what is being practiced today is a far cry from the supposedly dogma, doctrines and guidance from the Bible. The widespread of falsehood and deliberate attempt by pastors to enrich themselves is a direct consequence of failure of public oversight and scrunity by the government and the general public and when one was initiated, there was a public outcry from selfish Christians alike. Fake pastors and not the church is under intense criticism because the public is rather tired of their overzealousness and ambition to get rich at the expense of their congregations. These god of men and their cohorts want the status quo to remain so they can flourish in wealth. They are worried consistent criticism is a risk to their material wealth. They preach of an everlasting wealth in then spirit world (heaven), but live in affluence and enjoy the best life can offer on earth. They advice their members to call on their God for security, but are bricked protected by armed security personnel - “who are they deceiving?”. May I remind the writer of this publication that Pastors and Religious Clergies have been responsible for some of the privileges we enjoy in life today. The same bible that these fraudsters quote and twist sermons from was made possible by Rev Martin Luther. Also, Dr Martin Luther King, another pastor, gave his life fighting for the civil right movement in the United States. Desmond Tutu, a nobel peace winner, was at the fore front in the fight against apartheid and economic segregation of black people in South Africa. What has our pastors and supposedly men of god done for Nigeria? What sacrifices have they paid to ensure Nigeria moves in the right direction? They spew false prophesies based on media predictions, they dine and wine with these politicians, collect offerings/tithes and also assist to launder illicit funds for politicians. In all honesty, these men are part of the problem in Nigeria because they preach falsehood and false hope by telling Nigerians to keep praying away their problems. They keep telling Nigerians that things would be better and God will come and whisk away our problems. These falsehood have been in widespread since the inception of Nigeria. Yet, a writer is bold enough to say pastors are not government of Nigeria. Do they not enable these politicians? Do these pastors not allow them seek votes in their respective churches? Are pastors not blind nowadays to the moral bankruptcy of the country, that questions are not being asked about the source of wealth. They all claim all wealth are from God, even those obtained fraudulently. The writer is a disgrace to our modern society. A disgrace to intelligent Nigerians, who can see in between these falsehoods and intentions of these pastors. A disgrace to those with proper moral obligations to ensure that Nigeria progresses. These wrongdoings must be corrected by pastors adhering to true doctrines as stated in the Bible, rather than conscripting salvation to the amount per bank account of each congregants. Nonsense! |
Very typical of Nigerians. We celebrate mediocrity. Paddy has earned celebrity and entrepreneur status by failing to acquire a company. Whilst in the US, people of his wealth and family connection category are counting their portfolio |
Why can’t we separate white from brown. Lebanese are not white people. Abi Nigerians no know white people again? |
What’s his business? Is buying a car on loan now an offense? Though Kcee in his music maybe exaggerating his wealth, but he is a hardworking young man. At least we know what Kcee does for a living. Who is Husipuppi and what does he do for living? Please I don’t want to hear hustling. I need to know what activity he is engaged in that is giving him this enormous wealth. Nonsense. It is because Nigeria has lost its moral grounds that criminals can now flaunt their wealth. Please what’s the nonsense with Nigerian big boy and socialite. That is a criminal speaking and he should be behind bars. |
bluebutton:It’s a choice. If she wants to wait or not. However, she needs to seek how to improve her own life because her story seems to me like she is waiting for a man to help her with her life. |
dominique:This is the Nigeria we live in now. Nobody is telling that lady the harsh truth. She has not sat down to analyze her future. Yes, Love is sweet and interesting, but it is not marriage and doesn’t pay the bills. 15 years is a long time waiting for a criminal who will be deported back to Nigeria without a dime. If he was truly interested in settling down, he should have gotten a legitimate line of work or business. |
greatgod2012:I don’t think Buhari is interested in this. That man is battling with his health. It is those around him using his power and influence that are going about with this devilish and witch chasing. They are the ones worried about what would happen to them if Buhari leaves, but they forget to know that even if Buhari wins second term, he will surely leave Aso rock |
That is a young man. Those cars maybe for the family and not necessarily his own. |
angelboy01:How do u consider a rich man with abundance of wealth and material possession and you subsistent income? |
Zoharariel:This is a huge opportunity that should be exploited by both indigenous Nigerian companies and the Nigerian government. There is a huge need to break the monopolistic power of Multichoice and ensure a level field for operation if they ever want to operate in Nigeria. However, I doubt this will be successful as Multichoice understands the Nigerian game and know how to play it effectively. Nigeria still remains a huge significant market for them, losing it would be a huge blow |
modelmike7:Spraying on the floor. This is the same as collecting |
This lady wants to bring #metoo Movement to Nigeria |
dlondonbadboy:Yes Nigerians are fools and the political elites know this. |
The extent at which these false prophets and the goons go to make you wonder what there objectives are. Please look at both ladies properly - what is the resemblance? Forget about complexion. Look at both eyes and nose. Do you notice any resemblance? I don’t think so. Also, bleaching your skin and fixing nails is now a direct employment contract with the devil? Which means we have a lot of people working for the devil then |
There is the need to dismiss this lady as an actress because she has recently not made any movie, but continues to tour the world promoting nothing but her body. I think at this moment that right words should be used appropriately to label her. We do not want young ladies to get mixed up with the idea that Nollywood can grant you access to this lifestyle. |
Chinese animations are now of great importance and educational value to African kids? I see you guys |
When information is distorted greatly to fit the narrative. Only 4 Bank stocks are reliable to invest in, the rest are junks. Well good enough they listed the Banks - GTb, Zenith, Access Bank and UBA |
Tggabby:I don’t know what success mean to you, but if you don’t achieve your objective, you failed. If celebrating a takeover bid is now presumed to be success, then there is need for reexamination. I partially agree with the lady. Paddy became an executive director in his father’s company at 29. Many average 29s are still sorting out the tuition fees for university or college. Paddy’s story is not for the average Nigerian. It can be a bragging right for his friends in their elite gathering. Being from a privileged home plays a long role and determines how you define your own success. E.g Malia Obama, she recent just gained admission into Harvard and she is currently an intern for a high production film studio. |
KosiGee:Unstable I agree with you. Confused, I don’t think so. Stephanie depicts an average Nigerian, Poor upbringing, broken home and widespread poverty. You saw her mom, hustling in the market. Stephanie is literally the breadwinner in her family. The father abandoned her and her mom. She has struggled and still struggling for any little relevance in this world. On the other hand, we have a rich powerful pastor, living the good life and can afford the good things life can offer. This is a story of two different class prevalent in our community; the rich against the poor, the powerful against the weak. If Stephanie was from a decent home, you think the family will watch Suleiman pull those desperate stunts. You think they will watch their daughter go through hell repeatedly. You think the story would turn to Suleiman vs Nigerian Govt/Pastors. I don’t think so. We may never understand or appreciate what that girl has gone through or what she is going through now only those close to her. However, we owe it as a duty to call out these fraudulent pastors with power before their atrocities come closer home. |
BluntBoy:You don’t need to respond to everybody. Are you not aware that there is a dedicated team from Apostle’s church. Do you think you have the time and energy to engage each and everyone of them? You have made up your own opinion about this. What’s the point arguing with people paid to launder the Apostle’s image. Move on! |
BushWickBill:What response does that one want to give. I even respect him more. He shut his mouth and focus on his church business. He is enjoying his life and his members’ money and probably sleeping with another one. Suleiman and Stephanie should just please leave us alone. There are serious issues to discuss in Nigeria |
