She was warning the superior and still withdrawing the money. What happened to blowing the whistle? She is as culpable as whoever her accomplices are and should face the music and even more for the international embarrassment from her ignorant statements |
hokafor:He is looking for more female fans. You know women love Christian music a lot |
Liliyann:So the man is within the comfort of his parents house. Continue to look for people who will sell you lies |
Philpham:Including yourself |
Jerry Gana and Edwin Clark!!!!!!! That’s PDP in disguise |
deomelllo:Borehole - our politicians should be ashamed of themselves |
FarahAideed:Well said - what’s a petroleum company doing in constructing an airport? Also, I feel this is just a pure waste of money and time. What happens to Enugu Airport? Later we wonder why so many abandoned projects are littering the country |
marvin906:Well said. Nigeria is not the only place. However, regular searches should be conducted to seize telecommunications gadgets because I know a serial fraudster that kept defrauding people from Kirikiri |
Yankee101:Please excuse me! I didn’t want to comment on this thread, but people like you keep making excuses for fraudsters with bibles. Who, within the island environs that doesn’t know House on the Rock is a church? Even the horses from Elegushi are aware that’s house on the rock is a church due to their consistent and aggressive advertisements. The church is not the only one. If you live within the Island environs, 95% of the Bills boards are church adverts. Who are they converting that they have not finished converting? Please, they are competing with themselves now to poach members from other churches. FYI there is serious competition between House in the rock, Elevation church and House of David abi Covenant center. |
SerialAlpha:I’m shocked a lady is making this comment. I would presume it is tongue in cheek. Whilst the Big brother programme might be entertaining to young and impressionable minds, it is not inspiring, contribute nothing to the society, but make money for Multichoice. It lacks African morals and virtues we uphold highly and I think it’s highed it’s banned from airing. Let Multichoice be creative with its content and promote African values. |
kabrud:I think I agree with the poster’s narratives because prior to the kidnap, military checkpoints were evacuated. What was the need for the evacuation? |
This is how to respond to a sentimental administration. You respond with #FACTS. We can not deny the reputation of the international organizations, they know Nigeria very well. Hence, the Buhari administration is only fighting corruption shadows and not corruption. |
I think our criminal and corruption laws are lenient with looters. I do not support the death penalty, but I think the recovery process should include interest on the amount looted per day. If the looted cannot pay, the government can stretch its hand to other properties. The aim is to make the person extremely poor. If they were aided by others, those people will suffer the same fate too. When potential looters see the fate of ex-looters, they will not indulge in it. For now, looting is very lucrative |
IBBG:Consistent excuses with no alternative solution. This administration is the worse so far, Nigerian has seen. We do not understand the administration in all ramifications. It is purely a huge disgrace. However, I would still blame Yaradua and Jonathan for not commencing with the economic policy of the Obasanjo era. We had 27% growth on GDP as at 2007, imagined Jonathan had done his bit and added 7% year on year. Imagine the growth level we would have attained. Nigerian would have been the toast of the investment world and we, wearing our national identity with pride. |
This man is insulting Nigerians because he has looked around his generations and seen nobody better than Buhari, of which he is right. How about look below his generation. There are passionate, credible and non-corrupt Nigerians that can do a fantastic job |
CastedDude:Is he still the AU chairperson since he is no more President? We can all see he is hale and hearty and also enjoy his monthly stipends. Wonder why he wanted to kill himself by insisting on remaining in power. |
gidgiddy:Man this cracked me up, but it is the truth. He should have said Igbo politicians. The average Igbo man thinks about the improvement of his wellbeing and that of his family, same applicable to the other tribes/ethnic group. The President of Nigeria, should not be the president of a particular ethnic group, but president of the entire nation and implement policies that will affect and improve the entire nation. This ethnic politics, these selfish politicians are playing is dangerous. Nwosu should channel his discussion to his Hungry Igbo political friends and not the entire Igbo race who care less |
Enough of the talk Mr President, you have less than 12 months to match talk with action and reduce the unemployment rate as indicated. That being said, except the 2019 election is rigged, you don’t deserve a 2nd term because you have failed considerably. I supported you, hence I think I deserve the right to criticize you on areas you have failed - It took you 6 months to appoint your ministers and for 6 months Nigeria was inactive after your election. You still went ahead to appoint the same people you would have appointed otherwise. Nigeria lost 6 months for your indecision and inaction. We don’t want a President who is indecisive and slow to get things done. - You took N1trillion away from the Banking system in the name of TSA, an initiative of the Jonathan administration. You do not take money away from the Banking system like that, it will result to systemic failure and surely it did as Banks could no longer support operational cost and started sacking staff and increasing the unemployment rate. Till date, your administration is yet to inform the public what it has done with the N1trillion sucked out of the financial system and the unemployment rate is still growing. - You publicly condemned the devaluation of the naira. However, due to the recession, an economic disaster that your administration did not manage properly, there was no choice but to devalue and untold hardship meted on Nigerians further - Whilst you were able to curtail some of the activities of Boko Haram, you turned a blind eye on the atrocities of the Fulani Herdsmen and the continuous killings and destruction of lives and properties. Yet, no condemnation from you or your administration - You rose on the goodwill of anti-corruption and rule of law. However, Nigerians are yet to see one high profile conviction after all the monies your administration claimed that was stolen. Also, there had been public accusation of those close to you who are corrupt, but walking free. Hence, it appears the corruption fight is nothing but a gimmick. - The administration has gone on a borrowing spree since you became president - 2 Eurobond issues, 3 domestic borrowings and I understand there will be more borrowings this year. Whilst there is nothing wrong with borrowings, I am concerned about what these funds were for. According to public information, some were used to repay domestic debt, because Government claimed they were more expensive (Agreed), some to finance 2017 budget, when 75% of our budget expenditure are recurrent expenditures. Which means we are borrowing to pay salaries and our children will suffer for these loans. - Finally, Sir, you are not young. After the previous election you lost, you promised Nigerians you will not contest again. However, you were persuaded to contest and you won. You also promised Nigerians you will not run for 2nd term. However, you have decided to change your mind. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that. Nevertheless, Nigeria is a complex country to run and requires a strong willed and healthy young man to hold the helms of affairs together. Notable leaders like Obasanjo have advised you to consider relinquishing your ambition in recontesting and I think it is nothing but sound advice. Sir, to conclude, there is nothing else you can give Nigerians again. If it is not there in the beginning, it will not conjure itself to reappear. The situation we currently face is not different from 1984 when you were the military head of state. |
Rosarie:Correctly said. This is the worst government so far and it’s annoying after the support and goodwill the administration had. |
I guess the divergent opinions here maybe due to generational difference. Benny Hinn was the pioneer of prosperity gospel, he promoted it viscously and supported it wish false scriptures. He has been caught performing false miracles and investigated thoroughly. For him recanting his views, shows all along that he is fully aware of his false beliefs and due to old age wants to make things right because he is afraid of the unknown. |
BluntBoy:If only they read their bible they would know |
BluntBoy:Simple - don’t change the scriptures to suit your insatiable need. Just tell your members to give, simple |
sonsomegrigbo:And demolishing the houses of his enemies in Kaduna |
CELL2ME2:True but they don’t rub it off the face of their congregations and tell them God is blessing them whilst their contributions is fueling their lifestyle. In all honesty, despite my disagreement with some of their doctrines, the Catholic Church does a lot for its members. Catholic widows can bear witness. |
quentin06:In other words, he was notorious for bringing sanity to Abuja. |
I don’t know the reason why the building was demolished, but if it was done in bad faith, the court is there for justice. I remember vividly when El-Rufai a trained architect, was demolishing illegal structures in Abuja and the heap of insults and unceremonious wailing of witch hunt labeled on him. Now, Abuja residents are enjoying the benefits of adhering to Abuja masterplan. We know how lawless we can be in this country. For example, many structures in Lagos are illegal and the Lagos masterplan has deviated so much. The cost to restructure Lagos back to its masterplan at this moment is enough to buy another city and relocate all the residents. If the senator’s building is illegal, he has no tears to shed. Otherwise, he should head to the court and seek redress immediately. |
Kizyte:Laughs - you just exposed your ignorance, but I understand you. Europe is pronounced ”Yurope” and not Eerope as pronounced in Africa. So it is very wrong to write an European. It is a Yuropean. He is right and you are wrong. At OP - Benin people have a massive rich culture and heritage. On the average I can say Africans value marriage more than the West. Hence, there is a bit of success in that. I wish you the best |
What she is trying to say is that they are acting a script. |
Dee60:C’mon please don’t do this. You are the ones giving these charlatans the leverage to continue their actions. If a pastor is richer than the congregation it says a lot about the pastor. Apparently in Nigeria, pastors are richer than their members and their members don’t ask why. What Oyedepo is saying is that he is worth more than $150m and he was paraphrasing the gospel to justify his opinion. Here is a pastor who says the church does not need your money to be blessed, that you are giving the church to be blessed- now you wonder why the man is $150m richer than his congregant. The next you hear is that God is blessing him, when Jesus literally told a rich man to sell his possessions if the rich man wants to follow him. Jesus went to the temple and chased out the traders and business men because they have turn the temple to a transaction center - is that not what these men are doing? Transacting the scriptures for material gains! Enough with the bullshit |

I cant stand them at all.
