What a useless story. How do you take out a loan for yourself and expect someone else to service the loan repayment. Is this the way, Nigerian women think now? If this story is true, she deserve everything and she better pay back her loan. |
sweetkev:Oh you don’t need to say when the cold here blow you, no one will advise you to dump some century old dogma and get proper clothings to address the weather. Please ignore these men, they don’t have clue. I was at a Mountain of Fire church recently in London, the ladies wore trousers, though no jewelries. In fact, I don’t want to comment much on my observation |
Freeze I think this is totally uncalled for. Many of these guys you are calling out might not even know what an original Rolex looks like. It might have been sold to them under pretense. Whilst I understand Freeze, the average Seiko wrist watch is N65,000. So someone who spends N350k on a Rolex might think he/she is getting the real deal. Moreover, 90% of wrist watches in Nigeria are fake. |
queenethedibor:Yes - something isn’t right with this. There have been indications that the intelligence community were alerted prior to the kidnap and nothing was done. Even Security operatives were requested to leave. Boko Haram came, kidnapped them and left without a single bullet shot. After a few days, the dapchi girls disappeared from the scene without any physical trace. The military can not locate them. Today, they are returned without any single bullet shot and they were returned at the town Centre. Guess, the military guys went on break when Boko Hara arrived. Something isn’t right! Also, where are the remaining Chibok girls? |
I refuse to believe this story on the premise of the conviction rate of EFCC. It appears EFCC flexes it’s muscles only on the pages of newspapers. The same cash recovery in Osborne Towers is still within the purview if NIA and is creating conflicts between some members of the Presidency and NIA. Nobody has been charged to court or convicted. |
The driver of the Ferrari is not the owner. The owner of a Ferrari will not want this much attention. He will simply walk away and if he doesn’t want to walk away, I wonder how much the driver can afford him that would fix the car. I would walk away after stern warning because public bus drivers are nuisance. I do it all the time because there is insurance that should handle such situation and if a Ferrari does not have auto insurance - hmmm |
Does or did? How about Femi Kuti? Femi Kuti still make Afrobeat music. |
It seems like Femi’s children are making him embrace social media more. |
Only kids make these kind of statements because they lack knowledge and are ignorant. Do they think there is no corruption or poor leadership in the West too. If they lack sight, they should look towards the great United States of America, who have elected an ineffective and corrupt man to become president. The reason why things are organized in the West is because there is a strong system of control. If you break the law, you bear the consequences. The electoral process is rarely tampered with and people behave themselves because there are institutions out there watching you. If Nigeria wants to make significant progress. It’s electoral process must not be tampered with, so that people can actually elect their officials based on performance. There must be a strong system of control against all form of crimes, regardless of status, if you break the law, you face the music. |
You have poor control system in your super market. Hence they will steal from you, no doubt. Your friends have given you reasonable advice, which is get system to checkmate pilferage and theft. CCTV is good and can be used as evidence. You also need it for customers not just for only staff. You also need to carry out regular/periodic inventory count and cash reconciliation should be done everyday before the close of business. The cash must be equal to sales for the day. Even if POS was used for payment, the sales should be traced to the credit entry in the bank account. If the reconciliation is not complete, nobody should go home till it is complete (this should be your supermarket policy). You also need a dependable supervisor. Someone you trust and very reliable to carry out supervisory control and review the activities of the day and likewise watch other staff. This should free you up to conduct other activities aside your supermarket |
OneCorner:Shut up. She is beautiful and she has aged well. Not many of her mate look like that. |
matrix199:Well said. People should stop saying God will provide. Don’t give birth to kids you can’t take care of. That’s child abuse. There is family planning |
The advice is relevant for his generation not now |
Another loan again ? Why is this administration in a borrowing spree? Nigeria is in trouble. What would be the fate of its future generation? |
Oh my God! She was such a lovely person. This is just so sad. Seeing the picture threw me off balance. |
This is a good move to enable proper financial services being delivered. Nigerian Banks are not doing proper banking. |
C’mon, Bill isn’t so active in Microsoft anymore. He’s left the role and more focused on philanthropy objectives. |
The name is unfamiliar to me. Who is he? |
eee777:Why won’t we fear juju. Are we not Africans after all. Have we not seen in real terms what it can do. Forget the noise makers claiming religiosity. Too much Nollywood is confusing them. |
gozzlin:Ha - how old are you? Please go and do proper research. The Oba of Bini is not a Christian oh and he rarely leaves the palace. I even doubt if the Oba moves out of his palace. If you are confusing the Ooni of Ife with the Oba of Bini, please stop it now. If you read most of my comments, you will know I’m not scared of jujus, but I must be honest with you juju pass juju and Bini tradition is not one you take for granted. If given the opportunity to make an effrontery, I will eat the humble pie and make a pass for it. Do you research about the Bini Empire for yourself and try to retract your statement. I know it was made out of ignorance and youthful exuberance. |
thesicilian:This is an epic response because I find her reason ridiculous. It’s just 3 years of compromise. Those are difficult times when you actually can’t understand a child. However, it’s not sufficient reason for not being a mother. You don’t only be a mother for 3 years, you are a mother for the rest of the child’s life. |
I’m impressed. This is very significant in view of crop production and food manufacturing in the country. On the other hand, the Bishop can do more. He is already a very wealthy man. |
cue64:The way people reason on nairaland is baffling. Well for those that have doubt. Go to Bini to confirm for yourself. |
sekundosekundo:I am not a Bini man, but you better be careful of how you refer or insult the Oba of Bini. You must be underage and it would be wise if you go and do your research. This present Oba is highly educated than you, yet very traditional. The Bini people respect their culture and traditions. They pay a huge respect to their king, the Oba. Hence you dare not disrespect the Oba. And yes, I spelt Benin as Bini because that is the actual spelling before the white man changed it. |
This one don lost e no be Nigerian. |
This is how broke, illiterate and poor upbringing girls talk. They never build any value for themselves and certainly never add any value to whoever they date. These kind of girls are leech. Their aim is to suck you of your financial possession. Guys should run away from these kind of ladies because they will never add any value to your life, rather they destroy the value you have already created for yourself. Guys, the lady you are dating or intend to date or marry should either increase your/family wealth/income, save you cost (thereby increasing your wealth) and/or increase your general wellbeing. If the lady you are with is not doing any or all of these, you have a leech on your hand and guess you should know what to do as an adult. |
Putin1:Jealous over what. We celebrate mediocrity. We celebrate criminals. Ain’t we deserving of the kind of leaders we get. Read and listen to the news. No day passes without our attention being drawn to the fact that someone is either stealing our funds, has stolen it or trying to negotiate with law enforcement officers after stealing it. Yet we celebrate them for putting us in economic starvation and suffering. Nigerians Mumu too much. This is the only country in the world where criminals are celebrated and corrupt politicians have goodwill whether in office or out of office. |
wristbangle:Those are rented crowd and has nothing to do with roads or any social infrastructure. These are the instruments politicians and their aides use to deceive the general public and even deceive the politicians themselves |
Only 4 bundles seem to be the new $100 bill, whilst the rest are old $100 bills. Seems it was cash stashed somewhere and needed to be laundered. Doesn’t appear legitimate at all. Nigeria should sit up and do away with its cash policy. It aids looting and takes time to trace. |
