Yes, those on dependent/study visa are not allowed to work in some sectors, sports inclusive; you can't take a job as professional sports person on that type of visa. Also you are not to access public fund; loan or grant.

The visa validity date should be a mistake and can be corrected. Do contact the UKVI.

Yes his status will definitely have an impact. According to the guidelines, both parents must apply together. It wouldn't affect wife's application but the kids will be refused.

If they don't pay for your services rendered for so so days' work, you would have no choice but to contact small claims court.

Yes he confirmed he got notification by email and was delivered the same day.

Could you help me check with your friend if he got a mail pre-delivery of the BRP or not.

I was in an Airbnb for my first 4weeks of arrival and i used the address hoping it will come before i leave apartment.

It has a been difficult following up with the owner to help check 'with current occupant' if i have any letter there (from time to time).

At least, if an email precedes delivery - that will serve as a "notification" that my BRP is ready.

Checked with a friend with similar issue. It took him 6 weeks to get a replacement BRP.

He however used the same brp number to check right to work which later reflected at some point

I have tried this using the option "I have a biometric residence card or permit".

It returns "You do not have the right to work in the UK".
I could only use the my BRP number (which is the one with the 'wrong' condition).

I want to if anyone is in the same situation (or knows someone who made similar correction recently) and how long does this normally takes.
