Thanks for your efforts and immense contributions to this platform. Please, I need your advice and opinion. My CAS will be issued next week. Unfortunately, my resident permit expires on the 31st of July, leaving me approximately 5 weeks to apply for my Uk study visa from here. I am worried that this time might not be enough, considering there is no longer a priority visa and i need to exit the country by the end of July- is it advisable for me to apply for the visa in Nigeria and get approved since I have been living abroad for the past 5 years. Can i use my foreign bank account to apply in Nigeria? Also, my contract here will expire in July, would this affect my visa application? Thank you so much for your time and advice.

If I have a sponsor or guardian that's not related to me, but willing to help with PoF, has the money in his own account and is willing to provide his statement, but doesn't want to transfer to my account, is there a way around it? I know for parent-child, you can write a letter + birth certificate, however this person isn't related to me, so I'm not sure what the procedure is.

Please I have concern regarding my 2018 visit visa to United States of America. Then I applied as married man and with a child during application but I didn’t eventually go for the visa interview because I couldn’t get appointment date before the proposed date for the program I was going for. Now I’ve been offered admission in UK and about to apply for student visa. My questions are;
1. Would my previous application to USA have any negative impact on my application please(clearly no visa denial as I was unable to go for visa interview.
2. The issue of marriage filled den was with an ex Gf details and we are no longer together(no marriage certificate and nothing uploaded then as evidence), hope I can fill in the new person I’m married to without any issues.

The rules are if no placement is gotten, it automatically reduces to a year for you to then start your project. So I see no reason why it can't be .. . Just email your respective schools that you now prefer to start project immediately and no longer interested in placements and see what they say

I'm assuming your 2nd year is a placement, if it was me and I get the dependant visa, I will reduce my studies to a one year and get it out of the way.

In 2006, I applied for UK visa (it was done on my behalf by my step brother) I was refused on the basis of funds and maybe other reasons that I am not privy to.

In my early days too (1994or 1996), An application was put up for me using my step brother as my dad which was refused because the VO was able to detect.

My worry now is that I want to apply for study visa using correct information this time around and I plan to declare my refusals.
I am not sure how to answer the question "have you ever given false information when applying for a visa, leave to enter or leave to remain"

If applying together, you will be on a dependent visa and he will be on a Tier2. After 5 yrs, both get ILR. If you become dependant, you can't switch to PSW.

I have a 2 yr visa as well as option for post-study and I'm still in the first year of my student visa.

Look at it this way, the school you're enrolling in is your guarantor, standing surety for your entry and stay in the UK. They'll report you to UKVI and withdraw your visa if you do this.

Also, note that you cannot apply for the Tier 4 visa from within UK. This means you have to return to Nigeria to re-apply to enter that second school you have in mind.

Best thing to do is to wait and do it right the first time or stick with the high tuition school until the end.

It might be possible after your first year. I will suggest you look into the transfer policy of the university you want to switch to with follow up emails.

This will mean new application fee and IHS though

If I recall my last application last August, there were standard and super priority service. I do not recall seeing priority service but if there is, the difference is £300 checking online.

You should see these options when you are about to pay for application fee.

I just want to confirm if there is a priority service or only the super priority service is available. I read some where that they have both. Priority takes 5 working days and the super takes 24 hours is it true?

Why don't you call, ask for options and renew your contract .. . When I called, apparently it costs more for internet only. If you get all the package, it will be way less than £50 depending on the speed
