IntrovertedK:Those who would save others do not blind themselves to the plight of those they wish to save. Jesus, as an example, never said, "I will not die, nay, would not let those ungrateful Gentiles perish even though they crucify me". He let them, then went to hell for them for they know not what they do. We do not save our neighbours for our neighbours sake, but for our own. For the more they are oppressed the faster they run to our lands. Or do you not have Sabo in your hometown or where you live? The oppression the Hausas are under is exactly the same oppression all Nigerians are under. When we understand this we shall all save ourselves from it. The oppressor is ignorance. Its solution is the eating of the fruit of knowledge of good and evil. Those who eat it do not surely die. They become as gods capable of being fruitful and increasing in number; filling the earth and subduing it. Ruling over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground, and become blessed, which those who know not this do not become. |
Go Shepherd! I wonder how many agree with your assessment of buda though. I think what you say here describes you more than me. But hey! Why bother comparing tits when judgement is the Lord's? Please note. buda is not righteous! Everyone knows buda is going to hell! Shepherd00: |
It's not your belief or lack of it that makes one religious. If you are on here every day religiously discussing God you are religious. It does not mean you have a religion, just that you are religiously here. As to op, Niflheim has given the response it deserves and those with compassion should send op money so he can go to school and learn. |
Shepherd00:Temper, Shepherd! Let me pray for you. O Mighty Lord. Please don't let Shepherd turn away from that which is Godly. For God might not accept Shepherd's excuse that buda made Shepherd sin. In the Mighty Powerful Jesus Christ I pray. Amen! |
Sai bubu you seriously need to stop with these promises and tell the lazy Nigerians the truth! budaatum: |
Shepherd00:There you go. Demonise! Then claim you do so in Jesus name. |
Shepherd00:Told you you were good at labelling. I find its a recurse to hating. First demonise, then hate that which is demonised. Works every time. Kind of anti-jesus too, who said, "even after you demonise others, love them". But he also said something about narrow gates and the difficulty of entering, so I'm not in the least surprised. You are not blind shepherd. Fruits! |
USA must be finding it difficult to live without Huawei! "It's clear that this decision, made at this particular time, is politically motivated and has nothing to do with national security. These actions violate the basic principles of free market competition. They are in no one's interests, including US companies. Attempts to suppress Huawei's business won't help the United States achieve technological leadership. We call on the US government to put an end to this unjust treatment and remove Huawei from the Entity List. "The extension of the Temporary General License does not change the fact that Huawei has been treated unjustly. Today's decision won't have a substantial impact on Huawei's business either way. We will continue to focus on developing the best possible products and providing the best possible services to our customers around the world." |
PREMIUM TIMES confirmed from EFCC spokesperson, Tony Orilade, that Mr Ambode is under a corruption probe, a few months after he left office. |
I so love the ignorance! If only people could understand how God evolved into being from way back when God was in Egypt. But unfortunately, most start from Genesis without understanding the billions or so years before then. Someday, you will understand what Christ meant when it was written that he said, "humans must not live by bread alone or they will be malnourished"!

IntrovertedK:I don't know how true it is that no Hausa has ever been President and I'm shocked in fact that if this is true buda can be so ignorant and thanks for the education. Perhaps some blogger will list Presidents and Head of States to further educate us. One thing however. You call them "mumu people", when in fact they just happen to be the most oppressed in our society, kept ignorant by ensuring their eyes do not open. Or is it not the truth that every tree of knowledge of good and evil is cut down in Hausa land? Their mumuness is our mumuness. When they hurt they flee down south and you all call them Fulani herdsmen and terrorists and cow and completely disregard their suffering. Hausas are our neighbours. When they eat that which aches the stomach, it is we who are kept awake by their night groans as we can clearly see. The day will surely come when we abandon our tribal stupidity and fight for the welfare and freedom of all, insha Allah. Nigeria Nkwenu! Ka obodo di mma. |
I am sure you are under order not to mention me Michelle, until you answered a question I asked you! Besides, I read what you say, at least here on the Religious section! Now look! 20 irrelevant mentions forcing me to engage in a thread I would not have touched with a barge pole!! Perhaps put the mentions in a subsequent post next time. Michellekabod2:I do not do belief! I rely way too much on objective evidence so test all beliefs so I either know or don't know instead. I will however give two beliefs that I continue to test, though, I do honestly know one of them. buda belief 1 I buda believe that I must love the Lord my God with all my heart and all my soul and all my mind and being. But sometimes I might think I do but may be going astray. Call it, work in progress. buda belief 2 I buda reap whatever I sow. When I sow hatred I reap hatred, and when I sow love I reap love and even the hatred in the haters dissolve and they too love. This is not a belief but a known tested fact. I am an experienced farmer after all. Sorry I can't do ten beliefs. I find no joy in emulating satan!

You have said it right jcross19, that any understanding of the Word of God that lacks Love is of satan. Those who Love the Perfect Lord God turn the other cheek 70 times 70 times 70 times time 70 times....... Please do not let those who know not what they say or do make you become as them. |
Shepherd00:You should be able to tell who buda is by observing buda fruit. Or see you not the buda fruit? You are not blind Shepherd! As to why. Its rather irrelevant. But buda does just not do bread alone, and the Lord God said, "love your neighbours". The Landlords! They just rent to anybody, and to the enemies too. So buda is like Paul, all things to all people. Honestly? I think you have eyes and can see, so rather than me telling you who buda is, I trust you to decide what you see and label me accordingly. It's after all something you are good at, and I might create a thread for you and call it, Shepherd's Labels for buda!

Naughtysite:I guess you expect my bank account to get a lawyer and defend itself? zomoears: |
The Edict of Milan was a letter signed by the Roman emperors Constantine and Licinius, that proclaimed religious toleration in the Roman Empire. The letter was issued in February, 313 AD and stopped the persecution of Christians. With the Edict of Milan there began a period when Constantine granted favors to the Christian Church and its members. The exact words of the edict are no longer known. The Edict of Thessalonica (also known as Cunctos populos), issued on 27 February AD 380 by three reigning Roman Emperors, made Nicene Christianity the state religion of the Roman Empire. |
The Right Answer! You might have noticed if you read on the previous thread that this post was in response to muttley who asked "what personality has the god that you've created with your intellect", essentially asking that I create for him an image of my God, hence the title, the first and second of the Ten Commandments, thou shall worship no other Gods and do not make graven images, which I'm claiming to be inclined to seriously consider more than others for reasons given in the op, and which muttley asked me to break, though I'm certain it wasn't intentional and his yada got in the way. Blindness, I call it. That which stops one being conscious. The question for which paypal £100 was offered and which was tricky, was how much would be in the vault when the person hits 40 years old? I guess you'd need experience to answer it correctly which no one did, so let me walk you through it. Your forty year old child can not put a pound in a vault until it is old enough to count months and old enough to earn a pound a month and old enough to open vaults. So ma or pa, you, would have done it for the earliest of years, pound in a vault every month till lets say, 6 years old when your child starts hawking ẹkọ - though I doubt any of you would task your child that way, so lets say, 12, when your child starts hawking eggs, though I doubt any of you would task your child with that either, so, 16, when you deduct it from pocket money? 18? 24? Let's go with 16. At 16 years old, you, ma and pa will say to your child, "My child, in this vault therein I put, a pound every month thou lived. Now, to you give I". Something, must have made you, ma and pa put a pound in a vault for every month your child has lived till you hand the responsibility to your child. And hopefully, you earn enough so todays about ₦500 doesn't hurt much, though, the more it hurt the more it likely meant. If you are wealthy, that something might make your pound a month in the vault double or triple or go tenfold even, unless we are to assume you'll never reflect and grow and aren't thinking school fees. But that's by-the-by, and on the assumption your child hits 16 and becomes responsible for the vault that ma and pa you, have been putting a pound in every month your child lived. How much would be in your child's vault by the time your child hits 40 years old? I'm inclined to leave this question unanswered as a long running fund raising thread as it's work has not appeared to be completely done, but so it not in the future be pointed out as the buda yahoo yahoo thread, as in one where I swindled everyone out of a £100 because, not a single person on here got the answer right, I won't. I know the fault is mine. I'm certain if I'd raised it to £1000 for the right answer, you would have all worked harder. But as I said, you obviously already do, storing up even many pounds a day every day you live, and in a vault for your child, so, blessed are you and your fruits, for they evolve from your seedling, albeit, slowly, but accordingly. As you have guessed, the pound in a vault is the wisdom in your head first put in it by ma and pa then the responsibility becomes your own with 16*12, £192 in your vault and 24 years of a pound a month to go till you hit 40. So, question. Would you continue putting a single pound in your vault every month, or spend it, or put in a lot more than a pound a month? If you are anything like me you'd likely figure a pound a month will be a measely £480 by the time you hit 40. We're looking at years of work here where you'd be earning, so you'd likely put in a lot more. It's what you after all do, accumulating knowledge at a slow rate in your early years and increasing it many fold as you grow older. Would you not put £2 in every month there on or a lot more even? I'll let you ponder. I commend FOLYKAZE and LoJ and the many others for first best answers. Special engagement thanks go to Ranchhoddas for his insight. Thanks to Truthsbitter for storing intellect and a yada to muttley with thanks to all for participating. Every tiny bit made your cups runneth over. Please note that one person not on Nairaland was paid for being the closest to the right answer. Her vault had £4800 in it but more important was how she got so much. I think being a banker had to do with it. This thread, raised £9860, which will go to the personal welfare fund of buda. All requests for parts thereof are emphatically denied. If you wish to challenge that your already given answer deserves to be paid for, please go ahead. Your answers will be reviewed accordingly. No future answers will however be considered. Get a vault folks. You may start with a pound a month but in time you are sure to grow in wisdom which moths will never eat, will not rust or be stolen by thieves, and one day, we will all be wealthily wise. |
zomoears:I always do. Found a similar judgement from 2012. The Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, has been ordered by a Federal High Court sitting in Lagos, to pay about N1.112 billion judgment debt owed by the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency, NAMA and Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority, NCAA, to a firm, Hydro Air (PTY) Limited. |
zomoears:Now, that is indeed much better, and I'll ignore your opinion about the thickness of my skull. If you noticed, I "thought" in my initial comment. And only now has concrete evidence surfaced.
|
grandstar:Excuse me, but the above is like claiming the reason Nigeria does not make Apple is because it isn't lucrative. How about we don't invest in it because we don't know how, or you lazy, or you want quick returns and just can't bother with longterm investment? The reasons are endless, not lucrative likely being the last one an intelligent person would come up with! For your information, meat is very cheap in Nigeria compared to many other places, and our consumption of meat rate is abysmally low.

BlackLaw:Don't patronise me Blacklaw. I don't take kindly to it! |
zomoears:Still nothing. And I'm beginning to be amused at how little info there is on this case. Surely if a court passed judgement it ought to be published somewhere much easier to get hold of than all this. |
BlackLaw:Sounds like a recipe for remaining ignorant to me. I still have not found anything on the judgement against the FG despite all my research and would be grateful if you are willing to help. |
luvyaself95:I think the issue here is that your desire is to argue instead of reasoning. One involves banging unfounded statements against each other's while the other requires the careful consideration of each others view. And i agree, arguing with me will indeed lead nowhere. Can we try reasoning instead of arguing? Why is it, in your opinion, not possible for men and women to have equal opportunities and treatment in societies? Why do you think equals cannot respect each other? Incidentally, the program on telly at this very moment is titled Japan's Secret Shame. The story of Shiori Ito, the woman who shocked Japan with a public allegation of rape in a country where sex crimes are rarely discussed. In an society that sees women as equal to men this would not have been an issue. This film tells the moving story of 29-year-old Japanese journalist Shiori Ito, who in May 2017 shocked Japan when she went public with allegations that she was raped by a well-known TV journalist. Through Shiori's testimony, the film outlines her allegations against Noriyuki Yamaguchi, on the night the two met for a business dinner in Tokyo. Mr Yamaguchi, the biographer of Japan's prime minister, strenuously denies her claims. It recounts what led Shiori to take the unprecedented decision to go public with her allegations in a country where speaking about sex crimes remains strictly taboo. Following Shiori over the next year, the film tells the story of how criminal charges against Mr Yamaguchi were never brought, and her decision to pursue a civil case against him - a case which he is defending. It also portrays the consequences Shiori faced by speaking out in Japanese society. While the #MeToo movement saw women coming forward in solidarity across the globe, in Japan, Shiori was met with hate mail and public humiliation. Interweaving in the wider social issues of gender and traditional attitudes in Japan, the film follows Shiori on her personal journey, as she visits the institutions she believes failed her, meets with other women who are too frightened to even report assaults, and fights to affect change in Japan. |
luvyaself95:No, I can't. A feminist is simply someone, male or female, who is trying to achieve change that helps women get equal opportunities and treatment. Do note that some men are pigs whom a feminist will aim to be superior to. There's afterall no point aspiring to piggishness. |
DavidEsq:I guess the dispute here is who's the man and who's the fool and who is the one ranting. As for me, I'm satisfied. |
DavidEsq:I was not led by the headline David. I read the entire op, clicked on the link and did a search too, and still found nothing about this judgement apart from the initial case lodged way back in 2011 and the garnish order against CBN, and all because it seemed absurd to garnish CBN without a judgement against the liable FG. |
luvyaself95:When you have no more to say you'd just say no more! A feminist is not after control of any man and it would be stupid for her not to like being controlled and then wish to control another, and it's not in anyway clear that she has to be led by a man. As for God, male and female were both created in the image of God, which sounds pretty equal to me unless you are one of those who believe the woman is your rib! But if God did what you claim God did, then "God, I buda, challenge you!"
|
DavidEsq:Now, this would let garnishing make sense, and not what was presented as a if CBN was culpable. You've improved by the way. Keep it up. |
Mrhonesty:Make me keep quiet while you keep looking for excuses for your inadequacy and uselessness. |
