Today’s decision means that the arbitration has been converted into a legal judgement, allowing P&ID to attempt a seizure of the assets, according to a report by City A.M Reuters previously quoted legal experts as saying that assets used for diplomatic purposes – such as the Nigerian High Commission building in central London – are not eligible for seizure, but commercial assets are. |
The same sentiment is expressed in the Golden Rule. budaatum: |
I find it amusing that some will disregard Mary, the only person to conceive through the Holy Spirit, for fear of equating her to Jesus. Thankfully, a time will surely come when the veil will be removed and her achievement will be duly recognised and emulated

A simple question one might think, but what do we mean when we say a person has wisdom and is wise? What is wisdom? |
OpenYourEyes1:Could you perhaps tell me what one needs to do to receive this so called gift from God? |

Seems you were aware all along that you were robbing your employer! Funny how conscience works. What work did you do? If you worked for me and preached at work I would fire you because you clearly do not understand that it is in your work that you glorify the father and instead of doing your work you are distressing your fellow workers and robbing me by collecting a salary but not doing your own work and disturbing others from doing their's! |
OpenYourEyes1:I disagree! Anything the church does not understand in scripture (and in the entire universe), should be researched until an understanding comes forth. Nothing is hid from the church of the Lord except its members lack the Holy Spirit, in which case is it the Church of the Lord? |

Is it not written that those with God are not meant to fear "darkness"? You might want to consider that it was your understanding or your teacher that was in error.
|
IamPlato:Do let us know how you get on with your "head breaking". It would be divine if it meant 'making people think anew'. |
MuttleyLaff:I don't need to trust you. We can see the type of sucker you are by looking at your fruit. |

LordReed:Some have eyes and see not, some ears but hear not and some just have no brains my Lord, and have sought not so have no access to the "generality of the information". You should have noticed this in Evo 101. If they were like you, they would have considered the given information instead of fearing God would cast them in hell for learning. It is for this reason that we have compassion for them and forgive their tresspassing, for they are ignorant, and not lying as you think. I, for instance, after years of study, have only just learnt that the Gospels were written after Paul by those who would promote his ideas, and the true teaching of Jesus as handed to his brother, James the Just, has been obscured. It would be remiss of me to assume every human would be aware of this or even understand it's implications.

hucknall:Christianity is indeed not stupid, but stupid are the Christians who demonize their neighbours just so they can hate them. |
LordReed:When you said, "same way you and I acquire it", my Lord. You not only equated yourself with 'them', but equated me with 'them' too, when there is a clear difference. Would you deny evidence, and place the contents of a book over your own understanding, experience and knowledge? I'm all the same claiming the 'Christian' you mentioned and kept insisting her comments I read has little understanding of the book she claims to live her life by. |
LordReed:They cannot have acquired it the "same way you and I acquire it" my Lord, or they would not "on acquiring it say to themselves this contradicts my holy book therefore it is wrong". If they had "the evidence" (which includes the data itself, and the ability to comprehend it) that you appear to have, they too would accept it like you do. Equating yourself as the same as them indicates a lack of awareness of what I wish to refer to as the superiority in your use of your brain. See my response to her type here. |
LordReed:I wonder why you insist I haven't read it! Is her depiction your own understanding of what Christianity is, my Lord? |
LordReed:Why not? She claims to be a Christian and you just believe it! Should I, like you, blame the manual for her inability to comprehend it? Or is it that you accept her definition of Christianity without checking the manual yourself? Is she in anyway stating what the Christian manuel states she should do my Lord? |
hucknall:I think you mean my head has not been washed in stupidity. Christianity, as far as I understand it says "love you enemy", which one can not do if one has demonized them first! |
LordReed:Did you read what I wrote? What is it that makes you not reason like she does? |
hucknall:The inverse of your statement above is "always trust believers", which would make me state that you have no experience whatsoever! Have you ever met an atheist? Tell us your experience. |
gensteejay:Its darn hard to make the inexperienced see the difference between the two I find. Especially amongst people who have been trained to see "beliefs" as "knowledge". Experience is indeed the best teacher in this case. |
johnydon22:You are correct. Like Christians call themselves "believers", I assumed your usage of the word 'belief' refered specifically to that of your father. |
hucknall:Don't "thought" without first checking the facts or you'd be coming up with silly statements like: "I don't believe good atheists exist." |
johnydon22:Not all religious people are the same I suppose. As we see here, the op is presenting his belief as a conclusion, but that's not to assume such behaviour is religious only as I find atheists do the same, "invoke authorities", at least. The entire education system depends on invocation of authorities so I will call it a thing humans do. johnydon22:Perhaps I misunderstand you. A thought about a subject that instills value or distinction in value may be from the result of an understanding too, or knowledge even, and does not have to be a belief. (I see argument that an understanding or knowledge, is a mere belief, but I'm making a distinction here.) johnydon22:Educate to know, instead of tell to mere believe. The difference is, in educating, one must give background, present reasons, lead to understanding, etc, while to believe is to just accept a thing as so with little or no consideration whatsoever. An example of the a belief would be the ops statement: "I don't believe good atheists exist." And an example of the former is what we are doing to op here, educating him. |
