Lagos, a jungle when Tinubu became the governor? What a big fat lie. He can only tell that yeye lie to small children. He can only tell that to his blind followers. All the areas and communities in Lagos today were existing many years before BAT became the governor. So how did he become a senator, representing a jungle? That Ikorodu road that he partitioned to make his BRT lanes was rebuilt in 1974 by Capa _D'Aberto. The whole of Surulere, Aguda, Lawanson, Ijesha, Mushin existed many years ago and have never really changed. Ebute Metta, Yaba, Ilupeju, Maryland, Ikeja, Ketu, Alapere, Ikorodu environmentally, have remained the same since we knew them. He's compound near Femi Kuti's shrine was a go slow area and still remains till today. What about Ajegunle, Maroko, Okokomaiko, Satellite town? So this big deceiver wants to tell people like us that Festac town was a jungle? An entire area built and completed by Obasanjo, which was very beautiful, but damaged today? What about Lekki? An area that was developed by the late Raji Rasaki, following the destruction of Maroko? It was called Victoria Island extension. Ajah developed following that action in 1989. So Tinubu developed Badagry and Epe? What about Egbeda, Ikotun and their adjourning areas? So Tinubu built Apapa, including the port? Tin can Island was built under the military regimes of Murtala Mohammed/Obasanjo/Mobolaji Johnson in 1977. The same government rebuilt Badagry expressway, starting from Eric Moore to Badagry. What about Oshodi expressway, starting from Apapa wharf to Oworonsoki to meet Seven up, Ketu and connect the third mainland bridge? So Tinubu built the Oba's palace, Idumota, City Hall, Igbosere, Bamgbose, etc? So Martins street was a jungle, abi? Maryland, Ajao estate, airport road, Isolo and Ago/Okota were jungles? Oyinlola started asphalt on Ago palace road and ended in less than one kilometer, in 1995. That spot became a by stop known as end of tarred road. Marwa fixed that road completely. Oyinlola named a close after himself. It is called Oyinlola close, where his own mother lived. Marwa chased the herdsmen away from Marine beach, Ajegunle to the present Oko Oba in 1997. Then cows were struggling with Lagosians on Lagos roads. It was Buba Marwa who sent then to the ranch when the cow owners could not stop their fights with tanker drivers. His ultimatum brought sanity to Lagos roads. If not for him, kids would grow up today seeing cows and dungs all over Lagos. Tinubu would not have had to liver to stop them, seeing his fraternization with the northerners to achieve his present emi lo kan ambition. The present outer Marina was built by Obasanjo. Where you have the present UBA under Apongbon bridge, was UTC. From that point to the officers mess, was the lagoon throughout. Obasanjo reclaimed that land in 1978 and built the ferry station there. The present CMS ferry station was formerly in front on Joseph street. Was it Tinubu who removed the old iron made Eko bridge? How would Tinubu claim that he built the third mainland bridge. That bridge was part of the second national development plan and built under Obasanjo. What about all the Jakande housing estates, scattered all over Lagos? So baba Jakande did nothing. What Tinubu did was formulate policies to make Lagos work better. The taxation plan was set in place when the revenue of Lagos was withheld by Obasanjo. The basis of the disagreement was his establishment of additional local governments to match Kano state. Tinubu the began that revenue drive. We need Buba Marwa and Olagunsoye Oyinlola, who were governors before him to speak up, to disprove his blatant lies. He can only tell his lies to the likes of Reno Omokri and small children on Nairaland. Tinubu can only tell his fables to babies born between 1980 and 2000, who never knew Lagos. We can give you the story of Lagos long before and after Tinubu |
The courts will take too many years! |
ZeroAccess:And Ayu shamelessly admitted that he collected 100m. He shamelessly refuses to step down. Now I am beginning to see the justification in his sack by Obasanjo. Please be OBIdient. |
Why was he not shot after taking his pictures. What are they waiting for? If he has killed 3 people at 10, that's clearly a disaster already happening. |
goodmike7:Sorry to say, do we still have such ignorant people around like this? Waoh! What a diagrace. Please bow your face in shame for this disgraceful comment. |
babajero:He's not demented. He's one of those youths who we talk about. Youths who's method of reasoning makes one wonder where they are from. Wike has repeatedly mentioned openly that Ayu, the chairman of his party, received bribes totalling over N1b. Rather than look at the substance, the boy chased the shadow. Surely he must be one of those youths who choose poverty and misery over better societies and lives. |
Carloslehder:Was it a joking matter? |
Will APC have a candidate for the presidential election? |
senjutsu:Now this is 100%. You just said it all. |
Dshocker:Do you think the fellow understands what it means to be intelligent? And when you talk about life, has he started at all? Olodos and NFAs take undue advantages of social media to abuse those who they would not even qualify as house helps in their homes. You gave him the right response. |
What is this minister who has been accused several times of incompetency trying to tell us. How did it become a matter of rendition, when Kanu was discharged from terrorism charge? The matter centered on terrorism. Is the minister trying to play the role of the courts? We read "discharged and acquitted". Except it is not true, one would certainly wonder if the minister removed the word "acquitted" by himself, which frees Kanu and choose "discharged", to further detain him. We await his further clarification. |

What's new about it? Is it the business of Obi to provide security in the SE? Will APC, PDP or any other political party choose to campaign in the SE on Mondays knowing the risks involved? Youths who blame Obi, show how bereft of proper reasoning some youths are. |
First look her forehead, then look her nose, then her ear, then her mouth, her teeth and then as she divide hair into two like Bassey Okon for village headmaster. Fine she no fine. Breast be like blackboard, yet she wan take RCCG trend. Daddy Freeze wey story carry say e take over another person wife sef dey join mouth inside. Jagbajantis intete. |
Exactly what Yaya Bello needs to upgrade his political profile in the state. |
They collected their retirement benefits ahead. Happy retirements to them. |
anonimi:Do we still have youths like you? What a shame. Well OBIdience is not tribalism. It has no basis in ethnic or religious inclinations. OBIdience is a national movement that's far ahead of youths and citizens who want to remain in misery. We do not care were he comes from. All we see is quality leadership and a better nation with Obi APGA, a tribal party? AD started from somewhere and metamorphosed. Today the leader of AD in those days is the presidential candidate of APC. Sane and sensible people follow Obi because he is their hope for a better nation. They see prudent management of our resources and the see growth in all facets. On the other hand, bewitched people remain where they are, not seeing how enslaved they have become in their own nation. Brewery? How did you make a very wrong mathematical calculation? How would you compare the dollar rate when Obi made an investment, to the present rate, when your people have almost reduced the naira to mere paper? Even Dangote suffers the loss on his financial rating. Do you not see ignorance on your part? OBIdient people need ignorant people to get wise. You need to understand that you are not in a room with A/cs, but in a hole with plenty of fire. Obi is here to liberate your likes. Atiku will not take you to Dubai, neither will BAT take you to London. You are not their children. They will keep squeezing you until they completely squash you financially, physically and emotionally. |
kingamaa:But the government of Ogun needs to apply to build one. That's the way it works. An additional airport will serve those at the Lekki/Ajah/Epe and potentially Ijebu Ode areas, which is in Ogun state. |
FreeStuffsNG:Banners are left hanging for long periods after the ceremonies have been done. They are adverts and therefore subject to taxation. Most people Nationwide are ignorant of it. Lagos State too has an agency that oversees these things. Unfortunately Lagos state signage and advert agency (LASAA), as the agency is called, is not well known by everyone. They are very functional in the highbrow areas, where they make a lot of money for government. Nigerians want to show off at all times, irrespective of tribe and religion. We must be ready to pay the associated charges. The charges are very correct. |
Say something else. We have chosen to vote serial looters out of power. We are tired of professional politicians, who specialize in promising and failing. To remain sane after 2023, please cast your vote for LP/Obi. |
Na lie you lie. The one you do the last time don reach. Please help us manage Ronaldo fans on Nairaland only. |
Na wah. How is it that Ayu finds it difficult to stand by his words? How is it that Atiku finds it hard to get Ayu to stand by his words. Whatever the case, there is a movement currently called the OBIdient movement. They said no structure, we proved to them that humans make up structures and we all are the structures. We told them that power belongs to God and not man. They said Pandora papers, yet no evidence of such. No arrest or mention of stealing from EFCC. They said third class/GCE, we told them that he was a bank chairman and governor twice with the qualifications. We told them that PMB only has his first school leaving certificate. They said he did not work in Anambra state. We showed them evidences and asked them to compare the resources of Anambra and Lagos states, and which is far bigger. They have not. We asked them why their candidates have not developed Osun and Adamawa states, where they originally come from. They said flood in Anambra state. We asked them how they expected Obi to tame natural occurrences as a human. We also showed them flooding in all states across the Niger. They said social media President. We showed them strength in our physical rallies. They got a known agbero to organize their rally. We wondered how agberos would organize rallies for so called intellectuals. We asked them how agberos had become their leaders. We asked them what they expect the country to look like with agbero leadership. No answers yet. They talked about money. We said NO SHISHI. They chose emi lo kan. We wished them well, since it is their desire to continue with misery after 2023. They chose a Dubai based candidate. we wished them well and asked them to get ready to always visit their man in Dubai. We are the OBIdient people. We only demand a proper nation where all things work. We demand a nation where human lives are highly valued. We demand a nation, well secured and peaceful for all its citizens. We ask for a leader who is dependable, accountable, with zero tolerance for stealing our common patrimony. That person is PETER OBI. |

N3TRAL:How is it a shame? Why have you not tagged APC a SW party? After all it was sponsored by a SW man. If indigenes do not choose to identify with you, are you not free to get others to represent you? Why must it be indigenes? Do we not have a constitution that guarantees freedom of association anymore? So you were not in this country when Alliance for democracy was registered? You were not here when AD was labelled as the SW party? Even as a then regional party, not all indigenes, borrowing your word, supported and voted for AD. The party had a large number of South Easterners, Northerners and the SS as members too and the party thrived, until an indigene in President Obasanjo decimated the party. You were not there when BAT was the leader of the party at some points? You were not there when BAT decided to move into the center, forming the ACN? You were not there when PMB was the leader of CPC? You were not there when CPC was tagged a regional northern party? You were not there when BAT woke up PMB, after series of failed attempts? You were not there when CPC, aligned with ACN to become the present APC? You call LP an SE party, yet you hear the likes of Umahi, Orji Kalu and Uzodimma insisting on APC retaining the presidency. By the way, who says SE party cannot win, if it has the spread? How have you ignored Kwankwanso and NNPP? Who says he cannot win, with his huge followership in the north? Those of you from the SW should try to move outside your immediate regions to know more about other regions. Truly tribalism has brought this country to its knees. |
socialmediaman:You get it completely. |
Common problem with the parties. They will sort themselves out. However APC will not have the chance to present a candidate. |
It will be sorted out |
omonnakoda:I thought we could reason together. You are not able. |
OsunOriginal:You tamed it where? You tamed flood? You tamed natural occurrences? Can you please tell us how you tamed flooding please. "Go back home and call for good governance". Tell us which part of this country, beginning with the center, delivers good governance. Or you do not understand what good governance means? Tell us what you gave benefitted from your idea of good governance, in your Osun state, in terms of infrastructure, ranging from roads, to security, to electricity, health, etc. Tell us how good governance has been delivered to the states with the highest allocations. If you call Obi a failure, please tell us how your candidate is successful with governance and how it has impacted you positively. |
omonnakoda:"How do you know this"? Because it is our area . "How old is the river"? Have you heard the name Mungo Park and his African story? Can you ask God how long ago he created man? Have you ever heard about ages of rivers? "Do you have the technical data"? Your Google is your friend. You can easily research. "It sounds like a religious idea". What a joke. You give yourself away as a young man with completely no idea, on the basis of your question. Do you like in a street that is muddy? Look at this. When you dig drainages, you need to affix the concrete/cementing, etc of the dug areas for proper channelization of water. If it is not done, sand begins to refill areas already dug. When you dredge rivers, flood is mitigated, water is proper channelized. It provides benefits for shipping, etc. Unfortunately our governments have failed to have the job done, as they fall under the control of the FG. Areas to be dredged are the most affected areas and government through studies knows them all. Those who shout Tinubu/Atlantic City do not know that the FG has always supported. Tinubu started the idea of Eko Atlantic City when the Atlantic always overflowed and threatened residents of VI and Lekki. They also do not know that the whole of the front of the present outer Marina in Lagos was water, until it was reclaimed under the government of Mobolaji Johnson and OBJ in the late 1970s. That entire stretch of Apongbon bridge and the road getting to the officers mess was the Lagos lagoon. The front of the present First bank headquarters was called Quayside. Sorry to say, but you can find out from the older people around you, who knew Lagos at the time, all I stated above. Dredging of the river finds no basis in religion, but politics. If the river is dredged, then large body ships can berth at the Onitsha sea port. Government seems to avoid it, thereby giving Lagos seaports unfair advantages. That Onitsha seaport presently is not functioning. You can take your time to search for historical information. |
omonnakoda:Without dredging the river, it will yearly overflow its banks at this period, leading to crisis in all communities along its banks. |
Truthisunique2:"Some never even get campaign team yet". Abeg tell us how far with APC. Dem get campaign team? Wetin dey hold dem? |
