beerfraud:So that's all you could offer? Those who live in glass houses do not throw stones. |
babaolofin:Stop disgracing yourself my very young friend. The late MKO Abiola won the 1993 election resoundingly, with our Igbo people voting massively for him along with other tribes. How old were you in 1993? Were you born then? What do you kuku know? How old were you in 1999, by the way? That will help us enlighten you more on the history of insolence and violence in Nigerian political history |
ATLIEN2027:Smart without health is ZERO. Na failure. |
bewla:RIP to English. Are you a bus conductor or a motor park tout? How did you find your way here with such horrible English? |
Botking:He did not mention either Kwankwanso or even Sowore. I also thought they called Obi the social media President. Now even BAT recognises Obi as a real threat. For those of us who are OBIdient, we see Obi as the next President. Power belongs to God. Tinubu said LP would labour in vain. Obi is not supported with looted funds, by those babas who shared Nigeria. He is supported joyfully with funds from the pockets of those market men and women, the youths and the oppressed. 2023 is not by "emi lo kan", neither is it by "unifier". It is by God, who is the owner of power. Abacha thought that he could easily transmute from a military head of state, to a civilian President. He did not put God in his calculation. He thought Also rock was impregnable to enemies. God in his omnipresence had other plans. Atiku won the governorship of Adamawa, but he was elevated. He was not better qualified by the likes of Adamu Ciroma, etc, but God used OBJ and others to get make him the VP. He started stabbing OBJ in the back, along with the same Ayu. The Presidency was his, until his ill fated moves led to the removal of Ayu and made him a serial contestant. Power belongs to God As for me I believe in God and I follow OBIdience. |
yomi961:Olodo. You know absolutely nothing. Go and learn. |
Una no hear the name? I mumu o len. As far as say mumu dey inside, the guy na mumu. |
tammie24:Professional MUNTULA. Your head go resemble squirrel own. |
Very horrible. Do not stay put in an abusive marriage. Get out quickly. Love is not blind. It sees clearly. The person in love is the blind one. If you take an oath or enter into a blood covenant for the sake of protecting your relationship, you may have signed your death warrant. |
Obi don suffer. When they ask animals with horns to appear, snails would term themselves so? Who be this person? Anyway, we know it is ACCORD(ing) to PDP. We are OBIdient. |
Obi will shut down industries abi? Who opened the eyes of Nigerians to the monumental stealing of Nigerian crude, with the claim of clear collusion by officials of the FG? Obi did. If Nigeria is able to sell the allocated quantity, will that not make the economy better, if the revenue is properly utilised? Oga, please we are tired of your old formula for getting power. We know that the sole purpose is to loot. With Obi as our President, we can all say bye bye to looting of our common patrimony. I am OBIdient. Are you? |
FreeStuffsNG:Mr. Freestuff, use brain small na. Sentiments set aside. Lagos is a metrpolitan city, with different tribes and cultures represented. APC has its supporters, PDP has its supporters, just like LP. Do not rule out NNPP, with supporters everywhere too. Recently you witnessed the OBIdient rally, just as you witnessed the APC rally. You saw the crowd pulled by the two. Do not forget PDP with support in Ojo, Amuwo Odofin, Ajegunle/Apapa, Oshodi/Isolo, Eti Osa, Lekki axis. Voters for all the parties have their PVCs ready. Can you not see clearly that APC cannot have a landslide? Erroneously, you all think supporters of other parties beside APC intend to vote along tribal lines. That will be geandvself illusion. All the parties have supporters cut across the various tribes. Tinubu has supporters in the SE, even as he continues to overlook the area, just as Obi has supporters in the SW, if the Yoruba race. No one of them will have 20m votes. Bros, please vote for a candidate that will make Nigeria liveable and loveable. We are tired if the evil old brigade who have made lives miserable for Nigerians. |
Pakute:Mr. Pakute, who does Asiwaju represent? Atiku for the north. Obi for IPOB. Asiwaju therefore represents agberos, judging by your submission. |
Chai |
Garfield, so you also dance emi lo kan song. Dey dance am dey go, as your eye never clear reach, until the baba wound you finish. |
IntelChief:"As a man in the family". Yet she supports you financially. Where is the man na? "I will go physical with her and teach her some lessons". As you dey so without hunger, you no go respect yourself? Abi you want hunger to be your second name? Who says she does not want to get married? Are you too young to understand that people plan their lives? Plan your own life and live your own life. |
PureFace1:Are we talking about fluent English or fluent talk. Dem take suffer don una? Somebody unconsciously revealed his plan and the plan of his party, yet you could not see the very clear message. |
Olodo |
Throwback:Yes oooo. But at your age, he was already stupendously wealthy. He's life's trajectory brought him this greatness. Buhari presented a primary schooling leaving certificate, yet he became a military head of state and civilian president. With your first class, how far Bros? Emi lo kan will only keep you enslaved and deposited in the hole of misery. Think properly before you cast your next vote. Cheers. |
No shaking |
Chai. Why does his tongue always slip? Abi na sleep? We see all the signs of trouble ahead. He shouted "emi lo kan". He shouted "I want to be your President, get me there". Some misery loving people support help and are trying to get him there". His team always turn around to say "slip of tongue". That's not the first time. What I know is that I will not have a slip of PVC. I am waiting for a "from rotten to bad" song. The man too dey like make we take song follow up. |
A bridge at Ekwulobia? Fantastic. Waoh. The congestion no be here. It's long overdue. That should facilitate movement through Uga, to Orlu, Imo state and others. Commerce would thrive more, as Ekwulobia is a major center of commerce in Anambra state. The multiplier effect can be found in sorrounding communities like Agulueze Chukwu, Igboukwu, Ichida and Isuofia. Hopefully his government along with incoming Labour Delta State government, can push the FG, to dredge the Niger river at those ends. Soludo truly is working in Anambra state. Having professionals in politics help society develop. |
Now PDP has started deceiving itself. The party chairman promised to step down if a northerner emerged as the candidate. The same Ayu worked hard for a northern candidate to emerge. He then changed the narrative to "if the party asks me to resign". Majority in the party want him to go for equity and fairness, now he says BOT, NWC, NEC. The narrative now is after Atiku wins. If you have an incompetent general, how can you win a war, Mr. Nwodo. Why not advice Ayu to leave and install a complete PDP person as the chairman. Who the gods want to kill, they first make mad. Mr. Atiku refused all entreaties when he left PDP, with seven governors and several party leaders. Those who come to equity must have clean hands. PDP must clear themselves of their past leadership errors. Who ever told PDP that they could not find a very eminent southerner as their candidate? They simply wanted a money bag to match Tinubu. They forgot that power belongs to God. Ernest Shonekan was picked from UAC to become the interim president. Shehu Shagari was picked from nowhere to be the president. I believe that PDP has positioned itself to fail, just like APC. Whatever the case, Obi should win for us to have a better Nigeria, from from all these greedy old babas. |
codemaniacs:Sorry to tell you. You do not have an idea about these things. Please ask and read more. After that, analyse very well. I do not like "my daddy told me that..." |
kay29000:Two girlfriends and they know themselves? You go dey hail yourself like lizard wey fall from tree, as you take dem dey play ping pong. E good as you talk am now, because when you begin to dey sweep house, wash woman pants, cook food, we go know say the juju of one of dem don dey control you. Oya receive your deliverance now, before it is too late. |
codemaniacs:Grow up and stop this your "my papa tell me say...". Nobody talked about tribes, but about Lagos and it's development. Our discussion centers on Tinubu's claim that Lagos was a jungle before his administration. Igbos made your country's leadership fail? Igbos made your leadership fail to create jobs and establish industries? Igbos made your governments fail to provide electricity and security? Wake up and be wise. Poor leadership, poor nation. Corrupt leadership, miserable nation. Crooked politicians, divided nation. Ask me questions about how Lagos was before and after Tinubu. Yorubas/Igbos/Fulanis/Hausas, etc did not ruin the nation. Politicians of every tribe teamed up to ruin the nation. Nigeria was a far more peaceful and happy nation in the 1990s and before now. |
bakynes:When the capital was moved to Abuja, Lagos was left as the commercial capital and not to rot. Tinubu met a much safer Lagos, left by Buba Marwa. He met a Lagos free from agberos. He said that Lagos was a jungle before he became the governor. Does he want us to believe that his office on Tiamiyu Savage, V/I was a jungle area? Our political leaders must be circumspect with their words. We have gone past the age where we did not hold them accountable for their wicked acts on the citizens. At his tenure, Oshodi was a battle zone, with many touts and OPC reigning. Fashola cleared the mess to fix the area and Ambode made it what it has become today. We must not take overlook Buba Marwa's achievements in the calculation. Lagos was lucky to have great governors from the days of Mobolaji Johnson. We had Adekunle Lawal, Gbolahan Mudashiru, Ndubuisi Kanu, Comm Ebitu Ukiwe, Raji Rasaki, Olagunsoye Oyinlola, Mike Akhigbe, Michael Otedola (Femi Otedola's father), Buba Marwa. They all played their own parts, even with the accusations of embezzlement. |
codemaniacs:How old are you, my pickin? Tinubu built Itire road? Sorry my son. Itire road existed ages ago in the history of Lagos. The palace of the Onitire has not changed in anyway. Infact the whole of Ijesha, traversing Itire to Mushin, have largely remained the same. Lawanson remains the same, except for the new buildings. Those filling stations in Lawanson have been there for more than 50 years. Nothing changed in Idi araba. All the roads were refurbished and keep getting refurbishments. Ijaiye road was always there. He made the new road. Obasanjo resurfaced Idi iroko to Sango in 1999, making it necessary for the then new government of Tinubu to fix Ijaiye road. Tinubu surfaced Ikotun-Igando road, but within the area of Igando, Ambode surfaced them all making them beautiful and habitable. Ambode fixed the whole Ikola to Sango. Go and see then today. What about the Oshodi interchange? Na Tinubu do am sef? On an IGR of N600m, Marwa gave a peaceful and prosperous. The exchange rate was N21.89 to the dollar. Today under your Tinubu and Buhari, it is N433 officially and N740 unofficially, a ruined economy and miserable citizens. Make your calculation and tell us the difference in real value. Ask your daddy his income in the 70s. Ask him whether it is not true that his 130 naira a month or 400 naira a month did not pay all his bills and give him joy. You could buy Coke in Lagos for 6 kobo then. Ask Tinubu and Buhari what happened to our economy. Presently you buy a bottle of coke for N200. On the face value, that was the salary in the period mentioned by you. In real terms presently, that's a bottle of coke. Tinubu supported a baba go slow to bring this nation to its knees. Now he claims emi lo kan, with a promise to continue Buhari's legacies. No be wahala be that? |
noblemuk:Then it's either you do not know much about Lagos or you are very young. I can mention too many privately owned schools aside from the missionary schools in Lagos State, before Tinubu. I must credit the return of missionary schools to Tinubu, because he returned them at his tenure. Cinemas? There were cinemas everywhere. There were Idera, Oregie, Pen cinema, National theater, Glover hall, etc , ages before Tinubu. Aside from the privately owned schools, Lagos State had its own Schools, Polytechnic and University, before Tinubu's tenure. I can mention the Federal/missionary owned schools to you. I was born and grew up in Lagos and I know Lagos completely. Lagos had health officials long before the war. There were wole wole, who ensured that surrounding areas were very clean. Refuse was properly disposed. Transportation was well developed in Lagos long before independence. Before Lagos State transport corporation, there were oluwoles. Before the Oluwoles, there were Marcopolos. There were molues and Kia Kia buses (danfos) emerged around 1970 or before. Tinubu only stopped molues from getting into Lagos Island following his own idea of a better city. Victoria Island/Ikoyi/Dolphin were largely residential. Broad Street, Idumota, etc, up to the present secretariat, Obalende and Keffi street in Ikoyi we're commercial areas. Lekki sprouted out from the destruction of Maroko, by the late Brig. Raji Rasaki in 1989, as the governor. Victoria Island annex was extended to cover the present Lekki Phase 1 as people started migrating there. Those who could not afford the property prices in V/I and Ikoyi started relocating there and further down. Tinubu had his own ideas of how Lagos should be further developed. He improved the healthcare system, especially LASUTH. Ayinke house was built and donated by the late Mobolaji Bank Anthony in memory of his mother. Tinubu created the bus rapid system and following the withholding of Lagos funds by Obasanjo, Tinubu developed the tax plan. I remember clearly how some companies that failed to pay excise duties, had their gates locked up until they paid. There are better administrators than him. Marwa and Ambode made Lagos liveable. Marwa particularly chased agberos away from Lagos, but they returned when Tinubu became the governor. Now even an agbero organised a rally in his favour in Lagos. Intellectuals attended the rally, jumping up and down. Baba Jakande brought the idea of a Lagos metroline. This same PMB, blocked it as a military president in 1984. Tinubu's popularity centers on his ability to give out money with ease. As far as I am concerned, there are three political moneybags in this country, namely: Atiku, Tinubu and Wike.Their resources make them who they politically are presently. Tinubu told a clear lie, but we will not overlook his own contributions in Lagos. |
reddingtonblack:How old are you? That will help me give you the information that you need. |
Uchesis:Lagos had pipe borne water all over. Every part of Ajegunle, from Marine beach to Kirirlkiri were working, peaceful and sociable. There was water long before Marwa in Ajegunle too. No mind the yeye liar. |
olamike02:Shut that your ponmo like mouth. Your ignorance stinks. What you know nothing about, learn from others. Most of you are not from Lagos State. Your parents, grand parents and great grand parents, even though they are Yorubas, relocated from the villages to Lagos in search of greener pastures, just like other citizens from other parts of the country. They came with nylon bags and their mode of transportation was bole kaja. Your family houses were built with mud and still remain like that. Civilization has made you all forget where you came from or plan to make your villages better. |
