Bulleye:You call a group of people supporting a candidate of their choice “riff raft”? And when you are replied in like manner, you cry blue murder. Anyway, we do not expect anything less from Bambi alas who do not know that they are deeply enmeshed in misery and endless hardship, by their slave masters, who have perpetually bewitched them and blinded them from the realities facing them. Talk about extremism and intolerance as if your principal was not an agent provocateur before 2015, up till date, with his careless choice of words on GEJ. If others could tolerate then, you must tolerate what comes your way presently. Life is give and take. |
Truthfully it’s a battle. For us, we only need quality leadership. We need better societies and better standards of living for all our people. |
chieveboy:Taaaaaaaa. Close your mouth there. Do you have short memory or complete memory loss? In voting for APC in 2015, have you forgotten how low you the supporters went in making mock coffins for GEJ? Or do you want to pretend that you are not aware how abusive BAT himself was against GEJ? Do you want to pretend that you are not aware of the threat of the “baboons and monkeys would be soaked in blood” by PMB. Do you want to feign awareness of the well publicized importation of Fulani militia to wage war in case APC lost in 2015? Which of the above threatening words have you heard from OBIdients? Do you not see that you are the myopic fellow here? Some of you should just bow your faces in shame for supporting wrong leaders who have enslaved you all. |
A rally by thugs and touts all over Lagos? Without doubt we all know the consequences on those they meet on their routes. |
Muntula. Why not mention names of touts since you know them in Anambra state? How do you pretend in the face of facts in Lagos state? We already know names like Mc Oluomo, Kunle Poly, Auxillary, etc, who wield guns and other sophisticated weapons. Or will you claim that you did not see the video where Mc Oluomo asked his gangs to arm themselves with guns? Shame on you. Jagbajantis OP. |
pocohantas:What an unreasonable comment. How have you jumped to that reckless conclusion about Igbo women/families and underaged househelps? Do you want to pretend that it is not a national problem where underaged children are used as either househelps or hawkers on streets/highways? Have you been making a headcount of househelps nationwide to determine how many are found in Igbo households? Why do you play the ostrich here? Are there no underaged househelps among members of your tribe, whichever tribe you are of? You may just tell us your tribe and we will tell you how children househelps are abused by your own people. |
ekaette1621:Very senseless comment. Shame on you. |
How do people expect to sell lands belonging to government and get away with it? Buyers suffer in the end as the never seek expert opinions before their purchase. Hopefully this re-possession by the government of Edo state will teach people great lessons. |
Viraltrends123:“ Calabar was also a capital for many years…”. Sometimes I wonder how some of you easily prove the words of PMB that Nigerian youths are lazy. Who told you that Calabar was the capital of Nigeria for many years? How would you not research history to find out, if there is no one around you to tell you. Calabar was the capital of the southern protectorate before the amalgamation of Nigeria in 1914, just like Zungeru and Kaduna at different times, the capitals of the northern protectorate. Lagos became the capital thereafter until the relocation of the administrative headquarters to Abuja by IBB in1991. Lagos however remained the commercial capital. That’s why you find trade and commerce thriving in Lagos more than other states. Lagos makes the most from VAT because the biggest organizations are located there. Taxes are paid and they are used to further make Lagos better. That’s why Nigerians from all over the country troop there. It is called “no man’s land”, not because it does not have its own indigenous people (of which you are not), but its status as the commercial capital draws everyone there. Under the various military regimes, Lagos had different governors or administrators who were non Yoruba speaking. There were Buba Marwa, from Adamawa state and the late Ndubuisi Kanu, from Abia state. Certainly you were not born then. I do not blame you as all you say are mere hearsay. When you talk about good governance, every Lagosian contributed to make it what it became. Lagosian in this case meaning every Nigerian residing there. So Lagos appears more developed because of its status in the country, as the former administrative and commercial capital, but now the commercial capital. Now the leaders ask to be given special status recognition. |
GavelSlam:What’s the business of Obi with that? Anyway, maybe hunger dey wound you now. |
“ The legislators invited the Chairman of the Company, Aliko Dangote, before the house for explanations but he failed to appear before the state assembly, giving excuses”. How possible? Ordinary members of state HOA to Dangote? Hopefully they pay their tax to government and move on. |
Says a man who is accused of using wuruwuru to bring the same APC into power? |
Nijablast:And you do not know that as a politician, you must be very versatile? Why then is she is politics? Please stop disgracing yourself, friend. |
Nijablast:E too pain you. Was the woman correct? How did the lady not expect such a question to arise, looking at her position in the Lagos APC. Must everyone in APC be a liar? “Like Obi like his followers”. Agreed 100%. A fruit does not fall far from the tree. OBIdients are those who ask for a better society. They are people who ask that the status quo must be reversed. They ask the old grandpa’s sucking this country dry to go and rest with their loot. OBIdients are for accountability. How can a man who’s wife is a serving two time senator, his children controlling critical positions in the economy, still want to be the President? Dem do una something strong o. |
Labalaba dey call himself butterfly, this Sowore. I thought he would have first contested as a councillor to test his political strength. Rather than face issues, he faces individuals. Obi does not need US citizenship. He already has a diplomatic passport that can take him everywhere he wants. He does not need to reside permanently outside Nigeria like Sowore himself, who begged for US citizenship. Obi matter dey pain Sowore reach bone marrow. No be Obi be APC wey dey suffer am so. Make e face APC. |
joowealth:“And why can’t you people (Obi supporters) reported…”. “Always acts on hearsay”. RIP to English. Please write in your local dialect. We will interpret it. |
Wuruwuru people. You want to quickly release them and claim that nothing happened. Is it not this country where security operatives arrest and detain people without telling us their locations? |
ppogba:Their informants told them. They had information when it started operation. They turned the other way because certain officials were making lots of money illegally there. Suddenly they are waking up. Elections are at the corner. |
What a big joke. How would such a pipeline operate for 9 years without collusion with security agents. They cannot pretend that they never had the information. The possibility of money greasing palms is very high. How this country would lose over 600,000 barrels daily of crude over the last few years is mind boggling. How would someone be suffering in the midst of plenty in this country? We must wake up against bad leadership. |
Thank God for everything. Sincerely we hope that this ransom business should end and let’s have our peace again nationwide. |
Corridon:RIP to English. Quickly get yourself some Alumo to help your head cool a little bit. That’s your level. That’s really what you need. |
LegendHero:Haba! So you did not read your initial comment properly before posting? How then would you talk about Yabaleft if you have not been visiting regularly there for treatment? Unfortunately you could not understand my simple response to your initial comment. |
pepperdemzombie:Olodo. If not that you do not read the news daily, you would have seen the names of public figures from your tribe who are gay. You mumuishly think lesbianism is confined to a particular tribe. Muntula. |
“ The ruling party insisted that the only condition that will propel him to do so will be if other parties’ candidates especially Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi, do so”. What about Kwakanso and Sowore? Are they not in the equation? Anyway, even if they show theirs, BAT’s handlers will not show us anything. We have seen Obi playing football. We have seen him jogging. We have seen Atiku doing some gym work, even though he had some men helping out. We first saw Soludo and his wife doing power lifting at over 60. If BAT has prostrate issues, I think he should quickly have it operated and get healed quickly. But if he has Parkinson’s, then a more serious matter is up. Whatever the case, he needs to be physically strong to run the race. Politics should not tear us to shreds. We need all our citizens, especially those who have helped shape our country, either positively or negatively. I wish him well. |
OOSmilling:Did you read where the locals said that the two companies have an average of 300 trucks traversing the road daily? Did you read the part where they said that as a community, they had spent 20 million fixing the road for their own benefit. Did you not read the part where the company said that they were awaiting government approval? Awaiting government approval means that they intend to fix the road properly and they have the resources. How they go about financing is their business. Government approval is just to ensure that whatever they do tallies with government plan for that particular road. Now you cannot compare the incomes of those companies with those in Apapa, Lagos, already mentioned by me. They polled resources together to make up the N100b needed at the time to fix the roads. They also got approval from government to fix the roads. Without government approval, the companies could be sued by the same government. It is the business of government to fix roads and provide other social amenities. To fix that road, government will demonstrate magnanimity by reducing their financial burden. That is called Tax waiver. I am not from Abia state, but I know that the government is not stupid . Approvals will take some time, especially if not properly channeled. Now that the issue has come out publicly, I think the approval will go faster. |
aestake:Shut down and rebuild what? Or do you mean sack the members of the union and engage new lecturers? Which system is bad please? The university system or payment of salaries? I need some clarity from you for proper discussion. |
Chai. “He starts his day at 11am everyday. When i went to see him at 3am, I met more than 15 people waiting to see him". I read when they said the man works for 20 hours everyday. How is it that his routine starts at 11am? If we count 20 hours from 11am, it means the baba goes to bed at 7am and wakes before 11am to start his routine at 11am. Dem take lie do APC sef? Usually politicians are up most of the night, carrying out tasks and holding meetings. No man BAT’s age, would work for 20 hours daily and remain the same, especially with signs of some form of illness showing all over him. We have the right to question his state of health, just as we ask about other candidates. He’s contesting for the highest office in the land. He must first be physically fit before he can talk of mental fitness. I remember how Ayo Fayose warned about PMB’s health. The desperate desire to remove GEJ, beclouded the judgement of Nigerians. The rest became history. Now our eyes don open. Sometimes too I wonder what APC supporters think. Maybe they forget history. They need always to be reminded how abusive BAT was to GEJ. Or have they quickly forgotten how recently a man of his level said “they would labour until death”, to those he intends to be their president? It is quite painful and uncivilized mocking people over their poor health. But BAT is a master of mockery too. He labeled PDP Papa deceiving pickin. What goes around, comes around. |
aestake:Can you explain what you mean please? How do you expect better quality education when ASUU shuts down endlessly? |
alluson:Government already made an offer to pay part of the seven months, but they insisted on all. That’s a problem, looking at the no work, no pay rule. They voted for APC and defended APC for years until now. They intend to continue with APC in 2023. What you sow, you reap. Without doing something drastic, children will remain at home. Students have suffered unquantifiable losses. The losses are unquantifiable to the lecturers too. Some lecturers have other jobs with private universities or other means of getting income. Some who have no other means of livelihood have either lost their dignity or lives. At this point, something must be done to break up the strike. I am not in support of government’s failure, but surely seven months off the lives of students is not a joke. Within their ranks, some are not ready to continue with the strike. For those who are ready to go back to work, they must not be delayed. If members of the new unions are ready to go back to classes, they must proceed immediately. |
itsRhamzy:I seem to agree at this point. It is very frustrating delaying the future of the younger ones. Lecturers have the qualifications and jobs. Professors and senior lecturers in their university days did not sit at home for months on end. They started the strike. They chose to sit at home for months. They have cost students plenty of losses in time, health and lives. Still they ask government to pay for the same time wasted by them. The honorable thing to do is to either forfeit the salaries for the period or take what government is able to offer. |
It may all turn out to be a conspiracy. Abi wetin I go talk? However, simply using her SSCE would have saved her all the embarrassment. |

Nonsense.
