There is an enemy called "a determined enemy". The lady is a determined enemy. God no go allow am. The lady took six months, going undercover, in the name of "investigative journalism" to bring down a school with over 2000 students. In all evidences were not presented. What is her mission? Is she bitter at this particular school and the owner? Is this the only school were we have heard of such practices? Can she swear that in passing through schools she did not participate in one malpractice or the other? This "bring down syndrome" in our country should have limits. If parents and guardians did not believe their children would be properly taught how would they ever have sent them to that school. This journalist does not know what it takes to grow schools. To get to that level it took a lot of labour from the owner. She should carry her yeye investigation to NDDC, MDAs, etc where she can meet her match. We should learn to commend great achievers and achievements. The lady should also investigate the British, American and Lebanese schools in Nigeria if she can and let us know what happens there. Nonsense person. |
ThatFairGuy1:Progressively looting the country while bewitching, deceiving, blinding and impoverishing their followers. Meanwhile in 5 years of power the naira has fallen to 472. Rice from 8k to 26k. Borders closed. Poverty increased. Yeye people. Think about it. |
No Okada around that side to carry am? Or no where for helicopter to land pick am up? Helicopter fit land untop of im jeep. After four years hardly can you find anything to write home about in Kogi state. Infact I do not know which state is better developed between Kogi and Zamfara states. |
myboy2111:Chai so you do not know past and present tenses? Na wah! Is English so difficult? "Tinubu actually rescue". Where did you keep the "d" in the "rescue"? "why would Ngige brought up". Shuoo! I think you need a brain resetting slap from either a professional bricklayer or a professional iron bender! |
Unfortunately this is the nation we find ourselves. APC did not need violence to win power in 2015. Unfortunately APC has resorted to violence to remain in power. The election in Kogi introduced a new level to election violence with the alleged collaboration of security agents using helicopters to shoot bullets at voters. In Osun it was money at the polling centers. Edo very likely will witness the mother of all battles as PDP seems prepared now. |
Rolexjerry:Where do you belong? Millionaire in Naira? Thousandnaire in Naira? Hundrednaire in Naira? Or nothingnaire in Naira? Choose the appropriate one for yourself bro. |
OkoAmarashy:Chai so this is the level owu has reduced you to. Na waoh. |
IamPatriotic:Hahahahahaha. Bros did you work previously with the Observer newspaper group? |
Nigerians will always experience shortage of houses and high prices with the kind of leadership we have always experienced. Our leaders plan housing projects, embark on construction of housing units in choice areas, use looted funds to buy the houses at the rates decided by them. The houses are either then resold at exhorbitant rates or rented out at exhorbitant rates. The same goes for the market stalls. Our only challenge and obstacle to growth and prosperity is corruption. Added to that now is nepotism and tribalism. The way it stands they seem impossible to overcome. Take all these out of the way and Nigeria will become one of the most beautiful countries on earth. |
smirn:Looking at APC and PDP one may be tempted to conclude that PDP has a better understanding of how the courts work. PDP seem able to take advantage of some careless errors of APC to deal with them. This may be one of those cases. |
A very strong issue has been raised. I wonder why APC is never able to have some checks on their members. If the courts impartially look at this case, APC may lose. |
That's politics and politicians for you. If tomorrow he finds it difficult to provide for his family he will wake up every morning and join the queue of beggars in the house of his political leader. If the leader fails to give him money he"ll label the leader a wicked and stingy person. Again when Obaseki wins he will remain like that until 2024. If Peter Esele settles with his good friend Obaseki, the SSA will not be given a position by Obaseki because he"ll not be trusted or taken seriously. |
opius:Why do you think so looking at how he lost in 2016? |
OcVoice:I certainly believe that your name was not shortchanged. I think there is the problem of agents collecting money from job seekers and failing to secure the jobs at the end. Painfully the hopes of such people are raised that they will get the jobs but more painful is the failure and frustration at the end when the jobs are not secured. Many apply for jobs but the truth there is that only a few can get them. Such may be your case, but I think it should not be generalised. Contacts play a lot of role in the present day Nigeria. Everyone needs a job. I believe that the "connectionless" will surely get jobs. I do not work there neither am I a civil servant. However I have an idea of how these things work. Cheers. |
hisexcellency34:But we have been told that there is nothing like "national leader" in the consitution of APC. With that in mind who will punish Ngige? |
AnanseK:People like you make this country stink with your reckless and irresponsible tribal remarks. If you cannot share your ideas or opinions on social media with respect and decency, why not simple shut up and watch reasonable people discuss. |
OcVoice:"Lopsided recruitment"? How? In whose favour? Can you back it up? Who collected monies from candidates for employment? Was it the management, the staff or recruitment agents? Do you know that NSITF and FIRS are two of the best salary paying parastatals? NSITF pays staff salaries either on the 19th or 20th of each month without fail even as of date. The former DG built a solid structure for that parastatal. I believe that with what she laid down all eyes are on that place now. You need to wonder how the minister arrived at his figure. What is his interest? Who refused him one favour or the other within the NSITF. If they gave out contracts of 48B since 2016 the immediate past management team should have all the members as.billionaires. |
Racoon:At least there should be some decorum and decency. |
So if the danfos increase their loading capacities the drivers must not be arrested. Afterall they will be observing their own updated covid 19 regulations. |
Has he included children in his "Nigerians" claim? What about the handicapped persons? The southerners who have been living peacefully in their states are part of his claim too? I said it that his closed door meeting would not yield anything good. Bombastic asking! |
Dem like open the door nothing new again. The story na the same. All strategies failed and continue to fail. |
Hahahahahah...e learn the work from the masters! |
Jman24:Cat no dey house rat begin make noise. If not for our yeye errors before, where Chelsea dey near us? Our loud mouth na assurance of our victory every time! |
With a resurgent Arsenal and serial FA cup winner, it is easy to see that the FA cup will return to its natural home at the Emirates. Chelsea will be crushed by Arsenal for the FA cup on the 1st of August, 2020. |
Amotolongbo:Come are you sure you are not a rapist? What are you afraid of? Why are you scared that women are getting physically empowered? So you expected the conductor to beat her up and continue with his foolish life of harming women? Maybe you do not even know that well trained women disarm you so called solid men of their weapons. Take your time if you do not want me to send one judo champion to teach you a good lesson today. |
Amotolongbo:Chai. So we have people like you in this contemporary world thinking many centuries behind. What is the difference between you and our present oga? So you do not recognise that for rape to take place, force must be applied? So you do not know that a woman who is empowered to fight her assailant has a better advantage. As you are there with that your small head do you not know that if a an attacker sees you carrying a gun he will either run away or be very careful. With that training government empowers women to defend and totally annihilate to attacker. A bus conductor one day at Lawanson bus stop attacked a lady who he deliberately refuse to give her change. He even held her dress and threatened to injure her. The lady said "if I count three and you no leave me, anything you see take am so". The conductor pushed her. Before she finished her three count the conductor laid flat on the ground, pinned, injured, bleeding and begging. The lady was judo champion. Come do you need a bricklayer or an iron bender to give you one brain resetting slap today? |
The problem has to do with this "get rich quick syndrome". The big lawyers took a lot of time to get to their present positions. Keyamo, Oyetibo and others worked in law chambers where they learnt more about the profession and how to succeed. I went to a court once when a judge gave a young lawyer a very serious dressing down. The young man did not know how to present his case and the judge warned him never to appear before his court without his principal. That was many years ago. The same goes for other professions including medicine, where a lot of doctors have certificates, yet they are empty. My wife met a doctor who attending to her using google as her guide to diagnose an ailment. My wife was livid when the lady could not on her own talk about an ailment she was trained in school to deal with. In our society today our youths just want to do get to the wealthy top in the fastest way possible without work. It is truly tragic. The very hard working ones are innovative, creative and take their time to achieve. They strive for stability first and are easy to learn. |
ThatFairGuy:Shame who? The man who started the project but lost the 2015 election to your present clueless leadership? If the named the station after someone else that would have been complete shame to your yeye people. |
Abayolaid:And what will you say about your people that hourly use humans as for money making rituals? Is anywhere safe in your towns and communities? Every corner you find calabash filled with different kinds of sacrifices. Which is worse? No one is safe. They steal people's children to be used for rituals. They steal undies for rituals. They force people to use for rituals. Tell us which is worse. A society with people working hard to make their money or a society with lazy people filled ritual hunters prowling around looking for fellow humans to drink their blood? |
Hunchogee:When Akpabio as an elderly man threw caution to the winds by publicly accusing her of having four ex husbands, what did he expect? A presidential handshake? No provoke me oo so that I will not accuse you of toasting your neighours wife in my presence. |
Why is it that those who bear the name Asuquo are always known for the wrong things? So also are the names Okon and Edet. The names are always associated with houseboy, maiguard, washerman, rape, ritual killing, etc. Abeg make una no quote me o if una name na any of those names and una be better people. |
"Iswap gaining grounds in the northeast". "Bandits gaining grounds in the northwest and north central". "Boko haram has been technically defeated". "PDP embezzled funds meant for the army" "We have recovered all local governments under the control of boko haram" All these statements from the ruling party yet there is no end in sight for bandits, herdsmen, terrorists and evil people in the north. |
