Ehiscotch:So what have you ended saying? Blaming Christians, not blaming muslims, blaming "average Nigerian", not blaming government for its lies, propaganda, deceit and.uncommon delay in decision making process in the matter of a virus of such magnitude. What are the shortcomings of the people in this matter? Can you explain? Lai Mohammed simply should have informed us the current situation and not try to exonerate this government in its very wrong approach. The government stated its readiness in the event that corvid 19 arrived in Nigeria. They say those who go to equity must have clean hands. Having made that promise we thought measures were in place. How many centers are available in Nigeria? Where are the equipments? What are the incentives in places for health workers. We never heard of our government either ordering equipments from abroad or get local companies to manufacture them. Are you not in Nigeria? Why not call a spade what it is. Private individuals are making their effort, yet we have not heard of our government's effort.towards stemming tbe tide. Are you not in Nigeria? You did not even proffer an advice. Now corvid 19 got into Nigeria and suddenly government is running helter skelter over an issue that was well known three months earlier. Now government wants containment and still equipments have not been made available nationwide. It falls on our government to do its job. That's why the officials were elected. All Nigerians are advised to act responsibly by adhering to the laid down rules for safety. That's what we should be talking about and praying for God's intervention worldwide. That is the way forward. |
blasted12:He made a good quote and spoilt it with a foolish comment. Anyway for the youngman who felt people would not be happy over the comment, he can visit the nearest transformer close to him and engage in a great romance. |
gabazin080:People can keep deceiving themselves as much as they want. Lagos lockdown will go from one stage to another until total lockdown...which will be very shortly. Total lockdown and enforcement is the safest route to take. Lagos is a very high risk state considering the mindset of the people. Those who don't think it is anything will soon find out that it is better to starve and live in good health than to get infected and suffer the agony of it. As it stands we have not been told of the.after effect for those who have been healed, either in the short term or the long term. Is there any chance of a recurrence? We need prayers all over the world. |
If some are from Kano, then they would be sent back to Kano, not minding that Kano repatriated some and even closed borders. If Kano rejects them, what will happen? Same for other states? By the way the ones in Lagos where are they from? Any "Enugu" almajiri or beggar in Lagos? The ones in Lagos, particularly those from Kano, Borno, Kebbi, Bauchi Zamfara, Sokoto and Adamawa states must go back to the senders from Lagos. |
Dobson43:Why must it be Pastors? Why not alfas, imams, heads of shrines? Are they not spiritual leaders anymore? Don't they receive offerings too? |
Chai!! I said it before. Many belles to come after everything! |
250 face mask 100 hand gloves |
Empressabbie:Took the whole space! |
Good. He first chased away beggars from the streets. Now he has closed the borders. By the way how can one define "borders" in Nigeria? Can we differentiate Lagos and Ogun or Ondo and Ogun; Delta/Edo; Enugu/Anambra; Abuja/Niger or Nassarawa, etc. Do normadic people need vehicles and planes to travel? Ganduje restricted potential disaster in Kano with the street beggars. Hopefully other states can follow what some governors are doing presently. |
donbachi:Exactly. Why must it always be the church? The local mosques around do their morning cry with faithfuls also worshipping. Why won't Keyamo mention it. Why will he not admit the incompetence and continued negligence of this government in this matter? Where are the equipments in place by this government to control the spread? Rather we hear of how the one out of the two ventilators in Abuja was moved to the state house for the service of only one man. Nonsense and ingredients...as they call it. |
20 only? If at his age Reno Omokri can do only 20 pushups, how many can he do when he gets to Buhari's age? Reno Omokri should check himself. He is not healthier than Buhari as it stands now. |
post=87770620:Clearly written is that the materials (packaging and equipment described) were all airlifted to Abuja. Now hopefully they will be distributed on the basis of which parts are the most affected, etc. Jack Ma's aircraft landed in Lagos, I believe by the choice of whoever he negotiated the delivery with, since it was a gift and not an order by our incompetent government. As a Nigerian, seeing what happened to supplies to IDP camps and even the evidence in that regard from the president himself, can you safely say that the equipment will get to the areas without one government official or the other bringing in their usual corrupt behaviour? Could the same ministry of health not have distributed them to the respective areas right there in Lagos? Are they election materials? What's the sense in taking them to Abuja first when they already had the inventory? Or do they want to "test" them first? Why did I use the word "incompetent"? Seeing the trajectory of the virus, should this government wait for donors to send aid, without ordering these equipment as quickly as possible? If Mrs. Alakija could place an order to complement Jack Ma's, is our government waiting for other donors first before making a decision? See how long it too this government to make a simple decision of the closure of land and air borders? See the most vulnerable people are the beggars from the north, scattered all over the country and the prisoners. That is a big bomb waiting to explode. Government (federal and state) must wake up to their responsibilities. Governors are self testing first along with the president and their family members. Did they go out of their respective offices to get tested. Equipments were brought to them directly. So it should be with the citizens...easy access to facilities. What you will definitely hear 6 hours from now is how many were taken to the north, especially the most fulani populated states. You just watch and listen. Cheers. |
1c3JaY:Why do people keep emphasising international flights only and airport closure delay as if those are the only routes into Nigeria. There are too many entry points into and out of Nigeria. Many are official and many are unofficial. Many are known and many are unknown. People arrive at the airports in Ghana, Togo, Benin republic, Niger, Chad, Cameroun and Equitorial Guinea and find their way by land and sea through the very easy borders into Nigeria. As we speak ships still berth at the seaports. Fishing trawlers are at sea. Smugglers bring foreign rice in daily and the worst of them, the normadic fulani herdsmen whose passport in and out of Nigeria is their tribe. How could all these ever be checked. It would have been a matter of a little time for coronavirus to get into Nigeria. What we should do now is to move forward with containment. Complaints like this have become outdated and boring. The government should get in the equipments necessary by air. Wealthy Nigerians and corporate organisations should wake up and do the needful like Mrs. Alakija by ordering equipments to serve the entire nation. Ventilators are needed desperately. Buhari should do something urgently to get ventilators. |
Obinnau:Nigerians are under tested. Equipments are not there. Some health officials seem scared, etc. Those are some of the issues. Look it is a bomb in Nigeria. With the carelessness and foolishness of the political class. Some attend meetings without recourse to care. Some like Wike still have the foolish guts to commission projects, while the likes of Sanwo Olu are now taking pro active measures. The big men thought the virus was meant.for the poor only. They forget that they have drivers and cooks around them. Everyone goes to the same market. Abba Kyari and Bala Mohammed are examples of the fact that the virus does not respect persons. We must all keep watch bro. |
Iyiataata92:But the guy is right. A governor once said the same thing. The army lacks equipment, tactics and motivation. They know what they are confronting and yet they keeo falling into boko haram traps or mines daily. See top military men should take their uniforms off their pot bellied bodies and get into politics. We have more politicians in military uniforms than real soldiers. They are the ones who truly are not tactical enough. Because soldiering is based in "obey the last orders" as they say, the footmen fall into the traps as they follow the routes designed by their ogas. |
Antoeni:Very unfair I think. Irrespective of their errors we must wish everyone well. Is Lagos even the best place in the country? It has been suggested to governors to establish centers in all local governments and primary health care centers nationwide. Notice that they all play politics with it. As it is with the rich so it is with the poor...everyone is human. Hopefully also governments at federal and state level can take healthcare more seriously in Nigeria. Cheers. |
Mymynd4u:Typical amala chopping boy. Not hidden at all. No wonder while you all are asleep the Igbos work hard trading and buy off your lands, build fantastic houses, marry your daughters and make you tenants in your territories. When you wake up from your sleep, they give you money to play baba Ijebu, buy 100 recharge, play sports bet, drink paraga, smoke weed, eat amala/gbegiri/ewedu, hang on buses for free and plan how to sabotage the efforts of the very hard working Igbos. See your head like brick layer trowel. |
Does anyone share this line of reasoning with me, I mean the effect of coronavirus on marriages and relationships. A lot of marriages have been faced with plenty of crisis. Husbands and wives complain of job schedules and how negatively they impact on marriages and sex lives. It is a world wide problem. In some countries, the women in on her way to work when the man is getting home and vice versa. Many complain of fatigue, dizziness and loss of appetite because if their jobs. There are so many angles to it. Now that there is a lock down, certainly complaints will reduce and there will be more than enough time. At this time many marriages will heal. Nany though will have issues too! Many children will see more of their parents and share plenty good moments together. But I predict population explosion worldwide as many couples now find more than enough time for each other. What are your thoughts? |
This is a very devastating bomb already. One can just wonder how nuclear bombs work using coronavirus as an illustration. Everyone must be careful and not too confident of himself. While we expect government to act, we must not wait and depend entirely on government. As we saw recently the Nigerian factor stopped government from shutting land, sea and air borders as precaution. Now that it is in Nigeria we must all work hard against it to curtail its spread. In Lagos more must be done by the governor. How can the beggars in Oyingbo, Agege, Iyana Iba, etc be managed? What about transport workers? What about the homeless, those who sleep under bridges? Centers must be opened all over the place. How does government expect an infected person from Ikorodu to get to Yaba without re-infecting others? I believe that collectively and very strong measures in place, it will be defeated. |
cardiak:See where owu keep you. Chai. Sorry you hear. You talk so childishly of a woman with two sons over twenty five years old with wealth and good health as if you talk about one lousy street girl. For your house maybe na so so iya oni bread, iya ologi, iya oni battery, iya oni fufu, iya alamala full am. No better woman there. As I see you so you fit be a very organised rapist. But conclusively you are a complete and undiluted MUNTULA. |
donbachi:You are dangerously wicked or wickedly dangerous! |
templeRun20:By the way make I ask o. You no be wizard or winch so? Now now now government just announce, now now now you don quick reach two hospitals? You set trap before dey wait? |
templeRun20:Ataya for this story sef. Come o bro, Delta dey go front abi e just hook dey for one place. All those better dey happen story we dey see for tv na true abi na lie? |
Great. It lessens the strugggle for going abroad physically. |
NextD18:How would you understand when you did not give yourself the chance at all, going by your comment? Maybe you do not know that there are loiters around police stations everyday. There are also those who go there to sell their wares, etc. By the way boy, how old are you as of today? |
Kingosytex:Needless apology please. Her remark was very needless and very out of place. In the face of such a remark how should your "usual self respond"? Quickly slap yourself for that apology. |
Larryfest:They say "if e happen to another person e br like say na wood". Why don't you people talk about the trailers that have taken over and become serious menaces on Nigerian roads over the years. Safety belongs to God. Most probably they were driving in the night. Nigerian roads do not have street lights, speed limits and there is danger everywhere. Think about those too. |
dheespectre:Are you sure about grey hair? |
trutht828:How please? |
Frankyboy1:Chaiii. Owu no good o!! See wetin owu do you bros. Person you no know. Sorry you hear? |
AngryIgboMan:Yet they govern over you... jealousy jealoma! |
iamJ:Fantastic response! Question 1: why would they always insist that Nigeria must devalue the naira? Question 2: with all the devaluation over.the years, why have foreign investors found it difficult to invest in Nigeria? Question 3: must Nigeria continue to remain an import based economy? |
