Talk about corruption. With 5.9b for water and it packed up almost immediately. Was there no maintainance agreement with the contractors? If it was a federal government project how did it become Dickson's issue? Where is the minister in charge? Where are the contractors? Why would they stop paying staff salaries? How did it suddenly become private property with some people collecting rent? Could Jonathan no complain to government? Apparently Jonathan has done nothing about it since he has good water in his own compound. Na wa for this country sef. |
Racoon:So you can see how they use the Police, arm twist the judges, use EFCC, thugs and money to secure positions. It is difficult to see where the APC government is leading this country with so much lies, propaganda, threat and failure. With the kind of politics and politicians that we have it is difficult to see this country achieving greatness. Gone are the days when your tribe or race did not really matter. The Yorubas, Hausas and Fulanis opened our eyes to racism. The way it is how can we prosper when all we now know is "my people", "my community", my this, my that. Nigeria truly needs sanitisation. |
Amotekun should be allowed to commence operations. We must have return of Bakassi in the South east. Another version of regional security in the South South, especially in the Port harcourt axis. Another version in the North central is needed. The North east and North west are already covered by hisbah, civilian JTF, army, police, airforce, civil defence, ex service men and ex herdsmen. So they do not require another version of Amotekun there. |
Built2last:Bros commit murder or robbery first and then you can find out three things: 1. If there are facilities to hang criminals. 2. If the facilities are working. 3. If the facilities can work for you. |
SonofDevil:So you people do not see where the deal is? Forfeiting security votes is just a facade. Power and petrochemicals...that's where the money is. The man was spot on. Get oil and power and get wealth. All they need is to front companies and award contracts running into billions of dollars and then swim or bath or cream up in money. |
NwaAmaikpe:Show us which state APC favoured please. And also show us how APC favoured Nigerians at the federal government level. |
donstan18:You are right. The viciousness in his face makes it appear like the useless husband was owing him before. Or maybe the husband snatched the lady from hin when they were younger Who knows he might have been servicing the woman secretly or one or more of the woman's children was by him. He is the O/C killing. Looking at his face he appears like he is a professional human eater or human flesh merchant. He even resembles a vampire. Certainly the police will arrest him. As picture no dey lie we can see that he was in charge of the killing. Through him other killers like him and the man who shot his wife in that community would be found and dealt with severely. |
How on earth is Muric quoting the bible? As a Christian can you quote the Quran and not end up having issues? By the way, I thought they've always waged wars against Christians. What are their eyes doing inside the Bible? And their hearts thinking about the bible? Na waoh. |
Almost 5 years in governance and we still hear about the looting and corruption in Jonathan's government. What a big shame! For me nothing has changed so far. It is the same proverbial "old wine in a new skin". Buhari make pro boko haram comments politically to hound Jonathan out of office before 2015. Under his watch we have witnessed serious embarrassments to his government by boko haram. We have witnessed the infiltration of ISIS into Nigerian soil. We have witnessed the break up of boko haram with a faction joining ISIS to form ISWAP. Boko haram has large swaths of territories in the north. Herdsmen increased their tempo with mass murder of innocent citizens. The south west chose to improve security in their territory with Amotekun and the attorney general claiming it is illegal. Just like Reuben Abati under Jonathan, this Adesina man has proven to us that journalists should not be trusted to tell us the truth. The moment they find juicy positions in government, they show the other side of who they truly are. Hopefully when this government leaves he will remember to write something good about the leader if he finds a position in another government. |
But we were told that boko haram had been technically defeated. Which other form of defeat is he talking about? Physical, psycological or moneycal defeat? |
Possibly the baba would not have been the father of the deceased Faith. Perhaps Faith's mum found herself in that situation but quickly arranged herself with another man and produced Faith. Mr. Kwange seeing Faith from his wife accepted the child. Faith too faced the same predicament. She had her son after four years of waiting. So one may just say that Mr. Kwange has fertility challenges. However it is the matter settled itself. The son in law got himself a wife. He should continue the "marriage" jeje and continue taking care of the two children. |
Na Yoruba people know the name of the juju the man use. Ask them and dem go mention the name one time. Na the work of juju. |
Remember "I am PDP in the day and APC at night". Umahi should simply state that he is eyeing APC. |
Now we can see that power is rocket science. |
Why this crossword puzzle everytime by this government. When you think one matter is sorted they open another chapter of the same matter. |
Nodogragra4me:My brother remember the proverb that says "in the land of the blind, the one eyed man is the king". With his wealth and political reach, could the kingship have gone another way? How can you prove that it was their turn to produce the Igwe? The late John Nebolisa moved all the moveables to become the king of Awkuzu, when it was not the turn of his clan to produce the king. As a king how would Arthur Eze have been able to manage his business, politics and kingship. Do not let us deceive ourselves that his money played the largest role in getting the kingship to his family. What is more? Who would have opposed him in his community? Just like one person observed earlier, he has the money, but Chimamanda has the pen. Do not forget the role of courage in battles. If the people of Abba and Ukpo and surrounding towns have always feared the "mighty" Arthur Eze, there now is a "small" Chimamanda, courageous enough to take him up. Something tells me that Chimamanda will prevail in the battle for that piece of land called a market. Cheers bro. |
With Maerskline relocating so is Safmarine I guess. Other large shipping companies like China shipping, etc should toe the same path. Very clearly certain leadership policies have bestowed undue advantages to certain parts and tribes of this country to the detriment and systematic underdevelopment of others. Imagine the greed and unfairness of the southwesterners and fulanis in their attempt to retain federal power in 2023 with their well calculated effort to stop the restructuring of this country. We see why they clamour to hold on to power and kill themselves. With the undue advantage of the ports in Apapa and Tin can billions arrive into tbe accounts of Apapa local government and Lagos state every year to the disadvantage of other states with sea ports. With the under utilisation of ports outside Lagos, no growth. Take the case of Onitsha. For several years we have heard stories of plans to dredge the river. Without the dredging of the river, ships cannot get to the east, whereas there is a sea port there. It is not in doubt that the biggest port users in this country are the south easterners with a lot of the cargoes going to the south east. Now the cost of transportation, which is the exclusive domain of the northerners nd southwesterners has become unbearable. The effect is the high cost of goods in the market. Also yearly communities on the bank of the river suffer severe flooding. Nothing has been done now and there is no hope for that. Rather than ensure goood functioning ports, government allowed bonded terminals as a way out. With bonded terminals a few people smile to the bank daily. Even the bonded terminals no longer receive cargos as they are faced with the same traffic problems. Badagry should be developed for effective use. That way importers within Babagry road can choose the sea port when they ship their cargoes. If shipping companies spread destination sesports, ease of business improves. Southwest cargos can come here to the southwest and south eastern cargoes can go to Onne, Onitsha, Warri, etc. That will boost the economy of the states and employment would be created. Ports in Lagos would be decongested, traffic would improve and truck queues would vanish. We know what to do in this country to make it better, but we always put greed and tribalism first in all that we do. |
AgentNairaland:Where can I find an Iphone 7 for 40k? Is it brand new used used? |
sammyj:Is he an Arsenal fan? You used the word "gunner". |
Every reasonable person hopefully loves his/her community and would be easily willing to help and defend the community. Is Chief Arthur Eze amassing the lands for personal purposes? This question is very crucial bearing in mind that he installed his brother as the king of the town. Apparently the Eze family holds his community by the jugular. Is Chimamanda in this struggle to extricate her community from future servitude under a neighbouring community in these comtemporary times, or is she doing this to establish a personal legacy in her community? In the end I think that in spite of the court rulings over that disputed area, reason will prevail before there is an outbreak of war between the communties. Lastly the police should remain very neutral in this matter for lasting peace to be put in place. |
GoTV:Hahahahahahahaha. But we can all see through your smokescreen bro. You are not a Christian neither are you a Yoruba person. Lesson to be learnt: Never join the wrong crowd to condemn what you know nothing about. |
E for better like that na. At least we can have some peace of mind. No more agbero everywhere, paraga, jaguda, mama laide, baba Wura, etc. But my concern is what will happen to people's investments in Yorubaland. Will they take over Dangote refinery and claim as their own? What will happen to Igbo investments in Alaba, Ladipo and tradefair? Remember that Yorubas do not have much investments outside Yorubaland. Abeg make una no vex for my submission oo. |
Very unwise indeed by the mum and the ex husband. Very traumatic experience and quite difficult to absolutely forgive. How will she address the daughter born by her mum to her ex husband... half sister, niece or what? A lot of children are born into this world in strange ways by reckless and emotionally irresponsible people like this. No wonder some people suffer for no fault of theirs all their lives. |
post=86007067:Durbar hotel never belonged to Abacha family. They actually were two of them sited in Lagos and Kaduna. The Lagos branch was rebranded Festac 77, located at Mile 2, Amuwo odofin area. Abacha took over the hotel using proxies. It was a federal government owned property. Abacha's looting capacity has not been matched by any Nigerian. He also took over a piece of land in Port harcourt GRA belonging to a prominent Nigerian. He built a glass house there and at his demise the property completely built then was restored to the original owner by the courts. Abacha family should just bow their faces in shame. El Rufai should be commended please. |
The young man looks surprised in the pictures and I can definitely say he is very honored to have such a lady as his wife. She looks eternally grateful and indeed this marriage has a great future. May the Lord's hand be on this marriage. May they be eternally blessed and may children fill their homes. The Lord bless them with long life, good health and peace. May they never wake up one day regretting their marriage. |
Just see how an Aboki called people mumu. Wonders shall never end. Aboki call person mumu. Na waoh. |
Truly Arsenal seem to be very unlucky this season. |
Certainly the uproar in the land over the daylight robbery in Imo state stopped them dead on their tracks. |
ayosam4real:Please who is "Anthony General". Just asking before you can draw your conclusions on the man's "I.Q.". |
DavidEsq:Have you heard the words "political jingoism" before? Do not bother to ask me where I got the words from. Truly just like the great Chuba Okadigbo once said, he has read "the political barometer" and done the "arithmetic" of his chances in the next election. The best move for Akeredolu is Amotekun. With those words of his he tries to put himself on the driving seat, working on the sensibilities of the people, to secure his second term ticket. How can you ever imagine that he will not do all in his power to get it? |
Agaracha must come back. The day the woman abandon am im two eyes go clear. For young men make una shine una eyes before una carry one kind wahala enter una papa house in the name of wife. |
I don't know why an eye for an eye should not be allowed to such wicked persons like this. He should simply have been thrown down from the same high. Looking at him tell you he is mean and stingy. |

As a born again Christian who is meant to speak the truth at all times, i think this amoketun issue is being hypocritically blown out of proportion to expand hatred for other tribes especially the Fulanis. Why must we Christians be the brain behind the vast support for Amotekun when the Nigerian constitution is clear about the roles of the armed forces and police in the security of the country? Why must we form an ethnic militia to target fellow Nigerians when the constitution guarantees freedom of movement and doing business nationwide as long as we are Nigerians? What we fail to realize is that the south east cheering on Amotekun sees its as a synonym for their biafra agitations and they will rather support anything that will disband the relative peace and unity of Nigeria. The IPOB sympathizers will be the one to cry wolf when Amotekun starts targeting their tribesmen who commits various crimes in the south west. MURIC recently condemned the killing of a CAN pastor and sympathized with we Christians, how many Christians will condemn the killing of an imam or Muslims? Instead we rejoice when tragedy strikes them forgetting we are all humans before religion. Instead of emulating our Muslim brothers who have remained silent on this issue of Amotekun, we Christians are disturbing the cyberspace with hypocritical comments. Amotekun will never see the light of the day as long as we remain one Nigeria. It's a bad policy and a tribalistic security outfit aimed at persecuting other Nigerians. On behalf of we Christians, i condemn Amotekun. Let's learn to live in peace and harmony
