Suffer now, enjoy tomorrow. Nigerians have repeatedly been deceived in the last eight years. They started with change and truly they changed the entire country to the land with the most poor on earth. The same policies of GEJ, that APC made Nigerians believe were evil, are presently being adopted by BAT. They have added a very dangerous dimension to it…tribalism. Without doubt, the country is on a precipice. Politicians just hold together so that they can make as much as possible for themselves and their families and then japa. Now they recycle old men and women in power. They same failed leaders under Buhari, have mounted the saddle. Where is the hope for a better country with such people? |
Very heart breaking. What a pity. |
BOSSkesh:You must come from a family of wailing and sorrow. That's why you know what wailing and sorrow means at your small age already. |
Hmmm. High powered excitement. Colorado help an small. |
IconicR:Go and sit down. Tinubu confused you lot and made you all believe that GEJ's government embezzled public funds, leading to the ruination of the country's resources. You all blindly and sheepishly followed APC, with Nigerians suffering an unprecedented 8 years of sorrow in the hands of the combined team of Buhari, Tinubu and APC. Buhari ran the worst government, loaded with the worst cases of corruption ever recorded in this country. The same policies that Tinubu fought against to remove GEJ, presently he replicates, completely. Forex was easy with GEJ. Life was easy. You lot protested against subsidy removal. What's happening today with Tinubu? He simply restored the old order under GEJ and there you all are celebrating a man, who caused you all to pass through misery for eight years. Now they have move from "change" to "suffer today, enjoy tomorrow". When will you enjoyment of tomorrow come, with such terrible leadership? |
iCauseTrouble:Delta no be una mate. No trekking, no suffering, no hardship. Una like put fuel for 5000 per liter, Delta state moves on. No dull moment. |
Mozino007:Member of the trekkers association on Nigeria spotted. Trekking is stressing you out already. Never mind, continue trekking, until you see yourself trekking across the Sahara desert. Please always remember to take along some ice water (as pure water na luxury to you), and add some garri to it. Remember as you trek to sing this song: Na my hand I take choose the people wey dey make me suffer. I go dey suffer am dey go. |
IconicR:And yet you support APC. Eight years spent on misery, poverty, hardship and suffering, yet you supported for more years to continue in such horror. This hypocrisy cannot be equaled. |
FunkyAlhaji2015:The words of person wey no know something for life. |
HacheNoire:Hello dork, stop exposing your woeful ignorance in public spaces. |
HacheNoire:Olodo. Mr. Zero brain. Please set aside your baba so pe mentality and read wide. Ask questions from people and get better informed. 1. Atiku became the head of the PDM, if you know what that stands for at the demise of SM Yaradua. A political family that Tinubu was affiliated with. Atiku won the governorship election of Adamawa state in 1999 and was elevated to contest the presidency as OBJ’s vice. He was chosen out of a group of five sound political gladiators because of his strength in the entire north. He was chosen because PDM, which he led, was the most potent political force and family in the north. They won the election and Atiku became the Vice President of Nigeria between 1999 and 2007. 2. Peter Obi contested and won the governorship of Anambra state, coming out of the private sector where he excelled. A two term governor and a adviser to former President GEJ. 3. Tinubu served briefly as a governor, using the platform of the SDP, where SM Yaradua was the leader and Atiku eventually led. BAT became a two term governor of Lagos state between 1999 and 2007. 4. The three of them, including Kwakwanso, who was equally a governor contested the Presidency in a particular year. One was bound to win. 5. BAT scored 8.7m votes in his favour, compared to a cumulative 15+m votes in favour of the other three. If common sense would allow you, clearly you’d see that in that election 15+m Nigerians who voted, rejected BAT and APC. Those 15+m voters had seen enough of misery, hardship, suffering and poverty inflicted on the entire nation by the APC, co-led by BAT. Maybe you do not know what the word “outstanding” means. I advise you to look at you dictionary, look at the political life of everyone of them and tell us how any is a failure. |
Penguin2:A simple investigation will prove to all that money exchanged hands. How DSS became the issuer of NYSC documents beggars belief. Politicians go all length to support their dubious claims. |
Masterviolence:Why are some of you so blind? Did you not read the statement clearly by the South African government? The government clearly stated that Putin will not be there. Do you have a car or truck to get him there by all means? Always read clearly, understand, before commenting. |
Hmm. “ Meanwhile, the Group Chief Executive (GCEO) of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL), Mele Kyari recently said that Nigerians should not expect that the local production of PMS by Dangote, Port Harcourt and other refineries will have effect on petrol pump price”. What is Mele Kyari’s interest in Dangote’s refinery? Why does he seem to defend Dangote refinery? Why did the NNPC have to invest in Dangote refinery (a competitor), while the three refineries belonging to the country remain comatose after several years and billions of naira? |
Happy birthday to you, Sir Peter Gregory Obi. May you days be long. May your joy be full. May your health never fail. Congratulations. |
Government without plan. So they did not even know what to do before asking for approval from the National Assembly? Suffer today, enjoy tomorrow. They suffered for eight years from 2015 and now embarked on more years of suffering. Chai. What a joke. Anyway na continuation of Buhari. Meanwhile their supporters have joined the trekkers association of Nigeria. |
See Omokri jacket and compare am with Obi’s jacket. Omokri appears like some of those people who go to vendor’s stand every morning to read newspapers free of charge, looking for employment. |
Good initiative. Let’s hope it’s not that 8,000 or 10,000 story. |
obinna58:You got the correct figure of all. No one talked about the nature of the land. In a water logged area, you certainly would spend more than the approximate. |
Bloody liar. Which other permission did he need from Buhari to recover the funds? He was in charge. He simply used his position to his own personal advantage and they all normally do. See his round tortoise like head. |
“ Disturbing news just…”. What’s disturbing about the news? What you ask for is what you get. You asked for APC. You asked for Buhari. You asked for BAT. You did not remember that APC put the country in misery for 8 years. You asked for further years of misery, thinking that it would favour you. If you have not joined the trekkers association of Nigeria (TAN), please register quickly. If you were trekking from Ozumba Mbadiwe to Lekki toll gate before now, note that you will find yourself trekking from Lekki toll gate to Oworonshoki. Now your 8K monthly for six months has become more worthless. If APC no finish Nigeria, una no go get sense. |
Una dey see am? Little by little they will show more reasons why the north will remain in crisis. After all the years of lies and deceit. After all the years of financial settlements, they still talk of “kinetic and non kinetic” solutions? So when the nation stop appeasing the Fulanis, especially by those who have determined that their only way to wealth is crime? When you have non state actors wielding AK47s and GPMGs, killing, robbing and maiming people, you talk about kinetic and non kinetic solutions? When stories abound of sponsorship of militants and terrorists in the north by certain persons in positions of power. When will they stop deceiving themselves? Nigeria cannot develop with its kind of leadership. A leadership that is not people centered. A leadership that thinks only about how much to embezzle. A leadership that watches is citizens suffer, while using money to stoke the flame of destruction. When soldiers arrest terrorists and people in position set them free. When soldiers at the frontlines suffer loses and yet do not get their dues. When those in charge, purchase wrong or substandard military hardware, how can there be peace in the troubled zones? Leaders make money from such crises. They get into positions and still find excuses to make more money while the crises linger. They know the sponsors, yet never arrest them. It is painful that politicians have brought this nation to its knees. |
SangoOlukosoOba:And you think that APC will remain in position in 2031, by your warped thinking? |
DiamondPant:Exactly. If they are truly civil servants, what has happened to their previous years in service? |
TemplarLandry:Better than one with standard six, who left the country in tatters. Also better than another who has been accused of not having any record to show at all! |
MadamExcellency:What are we saying and what are you talking about? Your response is completely off the mark please. |
Chai. So tay na burukutu sellers go on strike for this country? Under BAT we hear this kind story. By the way, na who lose? No be the burukutu sellers? They should ply their trade in Zamfara, Katsina or Kaduna and then tell us they are on strike. |
DaddyJapan:Did he get a degree at all? Is he presently the Governor? Did he attend university or not? |
Until corrupt leaders are eliminated, this country can never have peace. They all know that with PO, loopholes for stealing will forever be blocked. They allocated 500 billion as palliatives to poor people totaling 120 million, while taking out 70 billion for themselves. Who will you blame if not the same poor people. They are not tired yet of their situation and so politicians take advantage. As you collect pittances to sell your rights to them, be ever ready to suffer. Again one wonders the rationale behind giving 8,000 naira to the so called poor for six months. It was a failed project under Buhari and there is no evidence that it can work. The sum of 500 billion can actually purchase thousands of buses that can be distributed to states to ease transportation challenges. The various states governments can then subsidize transport costs for that same period of six months to ensure stability. Fertilizers should be provided and farmers encouraged, while the issue of security is dealt with. Roads must be constructed in the hinterlands to ensure evacuation of products more safely and faster from farms. Nigerians on their own must rise up against corrupt leaders, using their PVCs to remove them. Nigerians must reject the system of corruption that politicians thrive on to steal the common patrimony. |
BOSSkesh:Olodo. Go school , you cannot. Maybe that's what you know how to sniff too. And Mushin that you read is in the south east? Anyway, who would blame you, when you would never read, not to talk of reading with understanding. |
