I hereby stand on the STAR OF DAVID, and make a wish that Nigeria be rid of miscreants like Gov Sylvia (regardless of tribe and level of government). Oh, I forgot to walk around the STAR OF DAVID seven times! OK, starting all over again, ![]() |
The Rep's problem is NOT anger management, pride or lack of education, it is stinginess! The yeye Rep no dey "roger". Everybody know say if you dey "tip" naija security man well-well, the face-recognition brain cells wey dey him head will be over-active!!! In fact, e go fit push im mama for gutter make you pass ![]() Oya, |
Is this for real? OMG!!!! Please provide the source!!! |
ilohim:Bang on! I think so too. Such a radical move should result in a system overhaul, not in spaced out doses. |
"Sovereign National Conference" sounds too cryptic and nebulous to be meaningful. |
@ Poster Abeg, what compensation do you wish to seek from Bellview? Don't you realize what Bellview has done for you? The airline gave you rich materials for a: 1) much-talked-about NL post (screaming headline for that matter), 2) bestselling novel, 3) award-winning blog, 4) must-read op-ed in the travel section of a national newspaper 5) lucrative children's storybook deal, and 6) crowd-pulling standup comedy Do not waste the opportunity ![]() |
It depends on the interviewer(s)/employer. I see a few references to oil companies here so here goes - If you're being interviewed for a technical role, most of the oyinbos that'll interview you are blue collar workers, i.e. technicians with high school education. They do not want sleazy suit-wearing folks around them. Again, the work environment and interviewer(s) matter a great deal. If in doubt, ask about the interview dress code - It's not supposed to be a 'state secret', abi? For some jobs, the guy/gal with the best suit wins! ![]() |
It's the now famous "Cash-for-Clunkers" ![]() @ Poster I see you with a guitar - The boys go spray you moni na |
YICOBs:I am on top and I am NOT dirty ![]() jamace:LOL! |
Kulu-kulu-kulu temper ![]() |
Kobojunkie:Abi o! It's not just you K-junkie, me sef hala. |
I have never seen a copy of Ovation, nor will I ever buy one. Having said that, I don't think Dele Momodu deserves this barrage of attacks from NLanders. It appears that we Nigerians are unable to express contrary opinions without character assassination. sesman:This is BS - The OK/Hello magazine folks are glorified cameramen who are unable to string 4 sentences together. Does that mean Momodu should not express an opinion in the dailies (because it differs from yours)? I don't think so! |
Bialegend:Whatever you're smoking is blowing up your brain cells - So Alhaji "Chronic-Forger" Dikko can be trusted? *Come, na so ICAN and ANAN dey distribute FELLOW these days ![]() |
Trust naija - The cyclist would have been posthumusly executed, and his family made to pay for damage to Oga AG's vehicle! But seriously, it only takes showing your middle finger to Oyinbos before the uncivilized animal in them rears its head ![]() |
Wednesday, September 2, 2009. The President and Commander-in-Chief, Federal Republic of Nigeria , State House,Abuja. Mr. President, FORGERY OF CERTIFICATES BY THE NEW COMPTROLLER-GENERAL OF CUSTOMS, ALHAJI ABDULLAHI INDE DIKKO, THREAT TO LIFE AND INTIMIDATION: A CALL FOR A FULL-SCALE INVESTIGATION. I have decided to write directly to you on this matter because I believe you will not tolerate and condone the criminal behavior of any public officer, even if your security agencies are reputed for that and especially since they are indicted on this issue. It is also necessary that you are personally aware of such an important matter involving a highly-placed public officer whom you just appointed. I make no judgment at this point. All I call for is a thorough investigation of the grave allegations contained in the affidavit accompanying this letter and for you to take appropriate action(s). With best regards. I remain yours most trusted FESTUS KEYAMO, ESQ. IN THE HIGH COURT OF LAGOS STATE IN THE IKEJA JUDICIAL DIVISION HOLDEN AT IKEJA Below is the damaging allegation: http://www.huhuonline.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=312:comptroller-general-of-customs-alhaji-abdullahi-inde-dikko-in-certificate-forgery-threat-to-life-a-intimidation-scandal&catid=1:latest-news&Itemid=18 Na wa for world peeps o! |
LOL! You think? But the thought of wireless Internet connectivity was also laughed at in those days of dial-up - Those were the days!!! ![]() |
naijaking1:True talk - Where de gofment dey? |
I've heard exceptional feedback about Akabueze; the guy is doing a good job. But the person worthy of greater commendation is Gov Fashola who looked beyond ethnic considerations to appoint an Okoro to his cabinet. PS: Babapupa - E be like say you dey do solidarity with Akabueze b'cos im yellow like you!!! Igbo kwenu! Kwenu! Yoruba kwenu!! Beeni! Hausa kwenu!!! Yowa!!!! ![]() |
Electronics such as phones and laptops may start shedding their power cords within a year. That's the prediction of Eric Giler, CEO of WiTricity, a company that's able to power light bulbs using wireless electricity that travels several feet from a power socket. WiTricity's version of wireless electricity -- which converts power into a magnetic field and sends it sailing through the air at a particular frequency -- still needs to be refined a bit, he said, but should be commercially available soon. Giler, whose company is a spinoff of a Massachusetts Institute of Technology research group, says wireless electricity has the potential to cut the need for power cords and throw-away batteries. "Five years from now, this will seem completely normal," he said. One set of researchers is able to send power over long distances but in very small amounts SOURCE: http://www.cnn.com/2009/TECH/09/02/wireless.electricity/index.html |
Pastor AIO:@ You must be a suffer-head, frustrated pastor sha. See yeye pastor like you wey dey do gra-gra like Area Boi! Na you go tire o ![]() |
@ Topic People join/identify with churches for various reasons, some of which are unwholesome. The last I heard was Pastor Adeboye asking Erastus to stop running and come back to Nigeria. Are your parents responsible for your errant behaviours (hoping you're an adult)? Why are you dragging Pastor Adeboye into this issue? The Bible is clear - Proceeds of sin is unacceptable to God; the giver may call it "Tithe", but if the source ain't right, it's useless spiritually. @Pastor AIO I bow for you o! U be NL ordained pastor abi na wetin? If u get 'schush', I sorry for your congregants o ![]() |
@ Poster I sense a much deeper issue here - Your inability to make decisions - based on 2 observations: Firstly, your parents, relatives and friends collaborated to make you marry someone you do not love. Secondly, you are on NL asking anonymous posters what to do about it! Since you asked, I'll tell ya - Grow a backbone already! |
Olong:Errrr, when will that happen? We don dey wait tey-tey! |
The headline is sooooo wrong! The title should read President Turai Seeks Second Term. No be she dey rule all dis time? ![]() |
Atedo Peterside! I no know say the man na correct Em-Cee o. Kai! See introduction!!! |
My people say fowl wey reach new territory go tanda for ONE LEG dey observe - These guys carry HUNDRED LEGS like millipede go Yankie ![]() |
@ Topic Interestingly, I was thinking the same thing this morning. Confession time: Me sef waka small before I became a christian - I can tell you there are fake/puny juju and there are real ones. If you never jam one, na im be say you never jam one. The fact that you've not seen or held your spleen in your hands does not mean it does not exist ![]() Anyway, that na old story. If you don't believe in positive supernatural, chances are negative supernatural will be Tales By Moonlight to you ![]() Regarding juju in football, I no know o; but I remember the Cote d'Voire episode an earlier poster alluded to. |
No, no, no. Forget NIVEA. Go for ose dudu PLUS adi agbon - The combination is unbeatable. |
Chrisbenogor:LOL! Very good sense of humour. |
