Chivadoski:Ha! So I go follow somebody go do one useless skit for all eyes at that large Onitsha main market? E no make sense. |
I dey suspect this native doctor! Why no be the guy dey press bwest and yansh? E sure for me say that papa go dey lamba that woman while dey call the guy for cuckold action only. Odiegwu oo. |
Ogbuu101:No point insulting him. He only pointed out what he noticed. Now let's point out to him.what he ignored. Traditionally, as you must have learnt in your elementary Government and History, the Igbo are acephalous, never pandering towards any central figure. Rather, an average Igbo person knows his own mind and fight his own battle. While the others may have centrally known activists, every Igbo man and woman is an activist, fighting in a way that best suit his ability and beliefs. Aba women riot (1929) is a reference point. Can you kindly tell us the name of the leader? Maybe not cos they are far interested in getting the job done than pushing for accolades and recognition. Probably, that riot inspired Funmilayo Kuti to start Egba Women Congress (1943), that waged similar war. |
robosky02:But its not a game of yo-yo where the bounces here and there. This is soccer. Consistency is all that matters. This guy is old school with no pedigree. Cut him loose asap, please. |
At last, an aboki repping NGA. Good one. |
popsy2:I don't know nada about law but I feel this Popsy guy is making sense. He went as far as saying the guy shouldn't admit to intoxication of both parties involved or that would nail him. I read Michael Crichton's 'Disclosure' and I know how tricky a rape case could get. In the court of law, truth may not win, fact wins all the time. What do I know? I wish the op all the best as you find a resolution to your problem. |
tommy589:That pastor guy you quoted is an absolute dunce suffering from Dunning-Krugger effect. He thinks he's an authority on everything relationship and tribal when he knows nothing. Yoruba demon ko, Igbo devil ni. |
Hunter don turn bushmeat be that. For SS, dem no they play. RIP to him. |
So the Nigerian Army problem never reach them, nah to dey go about campuses invigilating exam remain? The school authority better go enlist man-of-war and boy scouts. |
Says the man from the land of Kamaras, Koromas and Mohammeds! Guy, just sleep, wake up, play soccer and go. Stop making unnecessary noise. |
Raydos:Really?! Abeokuta Grammar School (1912) and Ijebu-Ode Grammar School (1913) pre-dates Nigeria (1914). You can imagine how many schools with their own culture and traditions that pre-dates Ogun State (1976). So the values and century-long identity of these Ivy League schools are to be eroded because one governor thinks Adire is the new best thing? Not to worry, after his tenure, the whole stupid idea would be thrown into the trash where it belongs. Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola did more than that in Osun State but his stupid legacy was hurled after him to take to Abuja. Let's just see how it pans out in the long run. Misplaced priority. |
themainman600:Lol. Obviously, weed dey my brain. Tyre cost true, true. Just wait. |
zhike:Okay. Hope the intention is pure. If it is, then I'm open to building a greater Africa. Given the past xenophobic attacks, I just need to be wary. |
I think Americans have enough to fill their own plates right now than to be focusing on Nigeria. Trump/Biden elections problems need urgent resolution. Meanwhile, our Bubu is not sleepy, he's a living-dead zombie just moving through the motions. |
Something former Osun State governor did with no evident success. You can encourage schools to use adire/batik but you need not enforce such thing. Imagine Abeokuta Grammar School that has been using the black and white uniform since 1912 losing identity, culture and age-long tradition because one governor chanced upon a transient idea of Adire school uniform. Misplaced priority. |
Because we are cosmopolitan in nature. Dig that? I won't any South-African the pleasure of mocking even the most useless Nigerian ever. |
Food don land for child-right activists. Give it another 72 hours with that neck-grab picture online and you go hear big grammars with law quotes. Just wait. |
The man on the mountain used to take hashish before instructing his killers to go murder in the name of the moon and star god while he frolicked with 13-year-old girls. The idea evolved into the religion of the crescent and star, worshipped by bowing to the dwarf blue star that influences our own earth, the hashish smoking killers evolved into today's assasins and the culture of raping 13-year-olds was codified in a book for their children yet unborn to practice. That is the sad tale of how the biggest tragedy that the world would experience started. |
Hey, Susan, we're not dumb. You did what you had to do. The irony is that the U.S. you did it for is also coming down judging by the Trump-Biden Election fiasco and China/Russia breathing down your neck. I wish you live long enough to finally see that God is the ultimate puppet master and not you guys. |
My condolences to Pete Edochie, his lifelong friend. RIP Jerry.
|
Pete Edochie would be shocked. R.I.P, strong man Jerry. Just confirmed on Ghana web.
|
illicit:You got me there. It's crazy to imagine that but I can't help wondering...... |
Unique. Just wondering....... |
You missed the Eyadema Dynasty in Togo. From Gnassingbe Eyadema to Faure Eyadema, from 1967-2005 and 2005-present. Look closer and you'll see the signatures of the French and Portuguese on the face of these regimes. |
Arrewa:Every single land in Nigeria is blessed. If and when it becomes necessary, the South would evolve survival.mechanisms just like the Northerners would live their lifes to the fullest without the South. All the braggings from different quarters are not really sensible to me. We all can be great together but that does not mean individual greatness of any of the federating units is in doubt. Las las, e no go better for that stupid Lugard. He knew his stupid amalgamation formula wasn't working in India where he was coming from yet he forced it on us here. |
Redcrafton:I agree with you. The South has no business with the North, any day, any time and twice any given Sunday. That said, I want Easterners to always remember that Nnamdi Azikiwe father was Lugard's secretary all through and knew about how the amagalmation charter was drawn up. Plus, why did the Igbo first coup plotters kill Amadu Bello, Tafawa Balewa and Akintola, sparing Michael Okpara, Nnamdi Azikiwe and Nwafor Orizu? There are too many questions but few answers. Las las, e no go better for that stupid Lugard. He caused everything. With no amagalmation, we won't have the problems we have today. |
FGInvestment1:If this is true, would these politicians ask their own children to lay their lifes on the line for stipend.? Pay the teachers, the doctors and the police well and see a better society evolve or postpone it until necessity mandates you to do it. It's a matter of time. |
I still don't get why Christians think is a must for Trump to win! It is written that the son of perdition shall reign in the final days. Trump winning will not do much stopping anything, it can only postpone it. It's either the Christians choose to believe in every word of the Bible coming to pass and prepare for what is coming or have their own heart desire come to pass with Trump's victory. |
mezico96:Hey bro, why nah? Give us the complete story and leave the doubting Thomases alone now. Some of us have had extraordinary encounters. When we see true story, we don't need any conviction to believe. For the mere fact that I can't see the infra-red ray of my remote control doesn't mean it's not there. |
That's what art is all about. The 'spark of creativity' is like an August visitor that must eventually leave irrespective of how much it likes your abode. Even the great Michael Jackson eventually experienced a decline before his death. It time he did new things. |
